I liked it, but if you like finer things in life you may not be able to appreciate the service or quality. I liked my breakfast for dinner and my friends had the steak tips dinner special (all you can eat), but said it was a bit bland; Better with a dash of salt and pepper! Their steak tips looked delicious though. The place was packed and I saw a few veterans, an NRA hat, and everyday people just like me. I will go back and have no complaints. The food was good! The service was great! I would recommend this location!!! (PS: I travel a ton. I eat out too often! I appreciated the casual relaxed atmosphere and would enjoy this in lieu of a Village Inn, Perkins, or Denny's).

Recommended by the hotel I was staying in this restaurant was an excellent surprise and a great choice. We hit the restaurants Prime Rib Friday and the food was excellent! We enjoyed a well stocked and kept up salad and soup bar with excellent choices. The beef vegetable soup was delicious. Our medium rare Prime Rib was cooked to perfection. We recommend this restaurant to any one staying in the area.

**update** I just wanted to say thank you Dave for reaching out and a hand written sorry and thank you. I have been in and the staff has been amazing since. I sat and watched how things were done with other customers and I truly feel they have taken amazing steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. Thank you frying pan and your staff!!!!! I came in and I've been waiting over an hour and not even a hello, while over 10 other parties that came in after me got seated first. The day staff and the night staff have 100% opposite customer service. I will only suggest visiting at night from now on

We walked in at 9:30 on a Friday night and were seated immediately. We had a very nice young waitress who was very attentive and took good care of us even though she ended up being extremely busy as the next 30 minutes or so brought in about half a dozen other customers. The food was delicious and you definitely get a lot for the great price! Highly recommend!

Each visit is a new challenge. Last stop I was seated immediately and than ignored and drink and food orders taken AFTER a couple that was seated after me. One Server working to many tables and late to everyone. Refills pretty much NOT! This is a problem with this location no one helps and that usually means lack of teamwork and individuals that claim they are near perfection. Management is afraid to upset the arrogant "ME AWESOME" Servers! Forget this location.

If you don't mind waiting around 10 minutes for a refill of your drink this is the place for you. The food was good, but the service sucked. When I talked to the cashier about it all she could say was "sorry". I walked out after I paid, and will find somewhere else to eat when I return to town.

This was a huge surprise. The food was really good . The service ( Shelly ) was outstanding in comparison to other equivalent restaurants in town.... btw I'm not sure if you the manager or not, but the "give me a red bull and I turn in to a little kid" comment was hilarious! Don't know if I was supposed to hear that or not.. your voice travels bro!!

Brought my family here while on a road trip. My daughter has food allergies (peanuts, wheat, eggs, milk). She got the sirloin tips, fries, and bacon... no allergic reactions. Kids meals were very cheap. My son LOVED the cinnimon roll french toast. Big portions, good salad bar. My son asked if they have this chain in St. Louis.

Salad bar is very nice. Unfortunately our server was busy but did not check back on us. She was very attentive to the other guests around us. Our table was the only one near us with children.

If you have kids under 12 this is a great place to eat. Kids meals are all 1.99 and they give them a lot of food. The food was good and is comparable to Denny's.

For my entree, I had the hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. It was good. For dessert, I had the coconut nut cream pie and it was great.

I grew up in a town with a Fryn" Pan. So bit of a nostalgia moment for me. Looks exactly the same as it did 25-30 years ago. The service is still good and the food is decent.

My family and I are very frequent guests. Our server, Steph, always has a great personality and provides quality service. Honestly, Steph creates our experience. She knows when the food may not be up to our expectations and corrects it before it makes it to our table. I continue to return because of her.

varied menu. finely came to the page where could order one of 6 different sandwiches and get the soup and salad bar included for $11.99. Thought the sandwiches would be smaller but my burger was the usual size with lettuce, tomato and onion. My friend had the chicken breast and his was a good size chicken breast. Salad bar had 4 different kinds of soup. Also, had salad and about anything you want in your salad plus about 4 different types of other types of salad such as macaroni, potato, pea & peanut and some other one. Everything was very good. They serve breakfast all day.

They have a very good breakfast, and the prices are very affordable. You definitely get your money's worth. If I lived in Sioux Falls this would be a regular place for me to stop.

I'm not sure of our waitress' name. Older lady, with a blonde bob and a kind smile. We were down in Sioux Falls every night 3 nights running, visiting our very sick cat in the veterinary hospital. She was our waitress each night. Her friendliness made things a bit brighter.

This is a great family restaurant. I try to visit here every time I'm in Soux Falls. They have a limited menu but the food is good and the price is right. Located near hotels and the interstate so great place to stop if your traveling.

The absolute BEST breakfast that I have had in ages!!!! I had eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and sourdough toast (drool). Everything was cooked perfectly and quickly. The coffee was great as well. It wasn't super strong like most restaurants. I can't reccomend this place enough.

As a Sioux Falls local I can always count on frying pan to have consistently good food. Some people might say that it's bad that it is always the same but I enjoy being able to order my Rosie's Special or patty melt and know that it will be good! It is my favorite place to also get the salad bar and soup. Best place for vegetable beef soup.

Every week we go to this location for breakfast, or lunch or even myself at 3am for some pecaaaaaaan pie! We are seated as soon as we are seen or reassured the wait won’t be long, Sarah and Deb and Nicole are the 3 ladies we love having serving us. Our first choice was not the Fryn" Pan, but we are so glad we ended up here. We had the best server (Cienna) who was very nice and attentive. Our seats were near the kitchen, and we could hear her interact with her co-workers. She was always polite and you could hear the happiness in her voice. Considering she was very busy and working her tail off, she never once showed any kind of stress. The food was great, way better than the joint down the road. We definitely would come back if we lived in the area. Kudos to your staff (especially Cienna) for the great customer service provided to your patrons.

Amazing!!! One kid asked if we could move to Sioux Falls so we can keep eating here. GREAT Valentine's. We had 7 different meals and everyone was fantastic...we kept taking from each other and commenting how we wanted that too. I would have taken more pictures, but we ate it too fast....my favorite was pulled pork...no the meat skillet...hang on, the ribs....stop by and you will understand my dilemma!!!

Our server was friendly and fast. However, we are not from here ( my husband, son, and myself) and needed a good meal. We were all very disappointed in the quality (or lack thereof) of our food. Everything appeared to be cooked from a frozen state, and was dried out and not much flavor. My salad was very wet and wilted (from the salad bar!...but came with my meal) Very disappointed and would not suggest to anyone.

I enjoy the fry'n pan. I like their soups and salad bar and they have great breakfast. Service is always great even when they are busy. I do find it odd that when you order a patty melt they ask if you want onions on it?? It would be like if you ordered a pizza and they asked if you wanted cheese on it? Anyhow thumbs up from me.

One star, super disappointed got the sirloin steak looked disgusting asked for medium rare got a medium well, told the server who was very nice, she took the steak back to the kitchen then 5 minutes later brought out a steak that looked even more well done. Won't be going back to this location again.

Had the Fryn Pan breakfast this morning. The eggs were cold. Otherwise it was fine. Probably shouldn't let customers bring in dogs that aren't service animals. Older lady had two dogs in the restaurant. Finally, went to pay my bill and guy working the register had a bloody thumb. In this day and age you shouldn't be doing hand to hand transactions with blood on any part of your hand.
