Enjoyed a delicious meal at Red Rosa Pierre last night, had the salmon, other companions had pizza, the burger and 3 cheese macaroni..the music (band playing) was the highlight. The waiter was attentive and fascinated that we from Cape Town South Africa. Will definitely be back before we leave

Good service and great food! My husband ordered the Steak and Gorgonzola Penne and he loved it. I had the pizza and it was good as well! Prices are great too. We both ate for $35 including tip.

Ate here with my sister, niece and infant son. We waited to be seated for about 5 minutes as the hostess was helping a lady. Even after the hostess was done helping the lady she did not acknowledge us as we continued to stand and wait right across from her. A Caucasian man walked in behind us and she immediately asked The man how she could help him, he pointed at us and said “they were here first” she finally looked at us and blatantly asked “how many” I don’t know if we were treated this way because we are obviously women of color, but it was very rude.

Great food! I had the bbq chicken pizza and it was delicious. Great atmosphere, there is a more intimate side and a sporty type side. The only complaint I have is the restrooms are a good walk from the dining area. It's not a big deal, but it is a walk from the formal dining side. Overall a good place I would revisit.

We were at your restaurant on Thursday, July 25. My husband ordered the rib eye and it was too thin and over cooked. Ribeyes need to be an 1 1/4 so they don't dry out. Price accordingly then. I had the lasagna and it was delicious.

Reasonably priced and very good food. The restaurant is attached to the Clubhouse Hotel with room service available. Using room service is much easier than at some other hotels; fast and delicious food!

Food tasted good, it did take about an hour and fifteen minutes to get 4 salads and 2 bowls of pasta. I'm not sure if they are doing the slow food movement, but be prepared to wait.

We’ve had some decent meals here, but will never come here again. On a special day like today, Mother’s Day, $25 prime rib dinner and it wasn’t even luke warm, another dish in our party was pasta, & sauce had burnt taste, and on top of all that, we waited forever with no apologies from waitress for any of the issues and they only knocked $10 off of our $75 bill . Sad to say we won’t be back at all

Great atmosphere- professional and pleasant staff. Consistently great dishes made fresh to order ( no pre-made reheated items) plated in an appetizing manner. Bread is fresh and hot served on plates with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Coffee is not "farmers brothers". Great choices for lunch or dinner.

Having dined here more than a dozen times, I feel that I can give a balanced review. Service has always been good - excellent even when busy. The food ranges from good - exellent as well depending on what you order. I would say kitchen consistency is only average but hey, this is Pierre, SD. The pizza’s are excellent if you like a thin-crust or European style and I recommend the wild mushroom. Calamari is consistently at the absolute top of the charts... I don’t know how they do it. Several friends really like the Spicy Chicken and Shrimp somethingerather and it is quite tasty. Burgers are great too. Prices are also reasonable for what you are getting in my opinion. This is an Americanized Italian inspired chain resteraunt so your expectations need to rest there. Nice atmosphere and a good place to bring a larger group.

Service was alright, food took way to long, waitress kept bringing us the wrong drinks. Chicken tasted like it was frozen and flavorless. Alfredo didn't even taste like alfredo. Overall experience wasn't great. We most likely will not return.

Went there for a late dinner on a Thursday night, on a work related trip with others. My husband had an ok burger. I had the French Dip. It was not good at all. There was barely any meat on it and it was not seasoned very well . The au jus was bland too.. I would of rather had an Arby's French Dip. The staff was very nice and accommodating though.

Super friendly staff. It was my first time eating there and I will go back if I come back to South Dakota for work. They had a life jazz band that was very good and the waitress had a new drink ready for me whenever hit about the half way point on the one I was working on. Definitely worth stopping in.

The dining experience was great, food tasty...table of 13, move to the bar after dinner (left our food boxes on the table in error) the waitress should have at least looked across to the bar for us to see if we were in the building. To make if we forgot our food by mistake. Then the bar waitress was not attentive at all

Flies, flies, and more flies. The food made it to our table quickly; however, the quantity was very disproportionate. We had two orders of the same items...one item had twice as much in the bowl as the other. I told the waiter and he said, "I'm not in charge of the kitchen." The irony is the waiter is the conduit between the customer and the kitchen. The food is over priced, the portions are petite appetizers, the service lacked luster. I'm disappointed in this restaurant; as a business. Poor quality control, low service expectation (lack of communication between kitchen and dining staff) Even in theses reviews the owner keeps responding to repeat complaints... that's because the new customers expect the old problems to be solved. Warning to new customers..."GO EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!"

One of our favorite restaurants in town. The food is always good, and the service is fast and friendly as well. The portions are decently sized for fair prices. This is definitely someplace to eat when you're in Pierre, as long as you like Italian food. There are other options on the menu though, so you're in luck either way.

FABULOUS!!!!! The ONLY place to eat in Pierre. Great, great fast and friendly service . We had the pleasure of Hope(mgr) as our server and we felt like royalty. If you like short ribs (hubbys favorite), they are to die for. I had chicken marsala and OMGOSH!!! We will be back EVERY time we visit Pierre.

This place is really beautiful. We have been here twice, both times it's been okay. The food is okay. The last time we ordered dessert and both of them tasted weird. The bread pudding was stuff and dry and the tiramisu was overly sweet (more like caramel then coffee flavor). We told our waitress and she very sweetly apologised and informed her manager. We will try them again because of the nice service we received.

Then she didn't come back, so I had to take my card to the bar to get it paid for. What a horrible joke!!!! I like their food, but their service is atrocious....definitely WOULDN'T recommend ever.

Ordered the Champaign chicken ($17) spicy chicken and shrimp Romano ($17) and the kids Alfredo (6) came at happy hour but had to order from the bar. The happy hour house wind was a cabernet - too sweet to drink. The food came a single small piece of chicken breast breaded, while juicy it had no spice or salt and was generally tasteless. Small servicing of mashed potatoes (instant) and two spears of asparagus . While Sautéed mushrooms was highlighted mine came with a single mushroom. The shrimp Romano had three small shrimps and lots of noodles. Spicy but lacking in other flavors. Alfredo was very thin with some random noodle types in a small bowl. French fried cold. The ice cream it came with was less than a half scoop and was freezer burnt.

We were headed to Pierre for a family matter and my friend recommended this restaurant, she said it was amazing. To say it was amazing would not give it enough kudos, this place was by far one of the most family friendly restaurants I've been to yet! Our waitress was super patient with my children and just overall super friendly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The food was a pricey but tasted incredible! Highly recommend

Stopped here during our vacation on the way through Pierre. Walked across the street from our hotel which is super convenient, and thoroughly enjoyed our Happy Hour experience and meal. Had lunch there on a Saturday with two other ladies. The waitress was extremely rude and short with us. We never got offered any bread and then when our food came one of the plates was completely different than the menu! If you like dry crusted walleye and noodles that spent too long under the heat lamp it's definitely for you. Waitress never brought our check as we had to approach the bar to even recieve it.

High prices but the quality of the food is good. I had my first calamari here and the way they seasoned it, it tasted awesome. The food is very filling with a good enjoyable atmosphere. Staff was friendly and offered good recommendations. Fruity drinks are not only well made but they sure know how to make a presentation. Update 2/16/17: Came at opening and was seated promptly, had the salmon and it had a very good and powerful flavor. The meal was very filling and had a caring waitress. Another enjoyable experience.

We must have very forgetful faces or something... We've had a lot of issues with RedRossa. One busy night we stood in front of them for 1.5 hours (everywhere else in town was the same), with them saying that a table was coming up any minute. Then when I told them for the 3rd time that they were seating people that arrived an hour after us, they looked at the sheet and said they "thought we'd left." Issues with waitresses forgetting about us altogether and not taking our order. Over seasoned (salty!!) food and salads drowned in dressing. Now they have taken our favorite thing off the menu - the Italian Pot Roast. This is the only thing my partner would have there, so we won't be coming back! I asked about it in August and heard nothing back.

Solid chain-style Italian food in a dining room with a really comfortable atmosphere. Staff are incredibly friendly and attentive! I love this place for lunch when I'm in Pierre. It can be busy when there's a conference at the hotel, but otherwise it's a pretty quiet spot for a biz meeting.
