Not much to say about this specific Popeye's. I only have been here once. The service was great. My order was correctly made. The food was fresh. Overall a perfectly decent Popeye's.

My first and last visit. On our way home stopped in Sioux City. Dirty, 8 tables were dirty, floors, bathroom. Garbage full.It was 3 pm and they were not busy. Staff seemed disengaged. Food took a long time. The girl finally did wipe tables, she probably should of had a bottle of disinfectant to spray each one. The place was freezing. The food was good once we got it. That’s not enough to get me back.

Great customer service at the front inside. So... with fear of missing out on the viral popular chicken sandwhich $3.99 it was good. Big piece of juicy succulent crispy chicken with a spicy mayo & 2 thick pickle slices. (They have the original one too) 4 stars only because my sandwhich was made with 2 pieces of "bottom buns!"(both bread slices were FLAT) They quickly made a new one and apologized that it was an honest mistake. We bought a meal deal (with such shocking small sides) and after finishing the 2 chicken sandwhiches we purchased 2 again. I just don't understand the hype and even online it shows Janet Jackson and her bodyguards (showing off) getting them elsewhere too. It's just good, nothing spectacular....so why are people acting like zombies chasing it, as if it's a fried piece of diamond?

We had to wait extra longer time for our food . My wife got white meat but she dark meat . We think their fish is soggy tasting . The tables were dirty patrons left , but they only got cleaned after we left . I would rather any place else .

First time visiting a Popeyes ever, both the cashier and manager were very helpful and patient with me while I was figuring out what to order. The chicken strips and fries were yummy. Facility was clean and inviting. A little pricey for what it is otherwise I'd give 5 stars.

To be honest I don’t even like fried chicken. The reason I went to this place is because my dad loves Popeyes and he was so excited when we finally got one here in Sioux City. We live close to Hamilton Blvd. my dad asked me to get him food from here. I was trying to order and the lady wasn’t putting attention to me because she was taking to someone else. When I got to the window she took my money never made eye contact to me or even thanked me. I thought that was rude. I never went back and probably would go to the other Popeyes in singing hills the employees are nicer than the ones here.

What a rollercoaster. I mean literally, because the route we followed to get here was off the rails. I call major BS on Siri for getting us here “on the fastest route.” So to begin, I would have to say that location in proximity to my house is not great. However, once we got here, it was well lit and approachable. This is where the story takes a turn for the worse once again, as I was nearly sideswiped by some kid getting out of a car as I pulled into my parking spot. Geez. Anyway, my order was ready and completed scary fast, I hardly had time to sit down and get bored, which was frustrating. If you think THATS bad, imagine my shock when I realized the modern fork has not made its way to this restaurant. When I mentioned this apparatus to the staff they seemed confused, so I dropped it. Next time I’ll take my own fork. Food was great, can I have a second biscuit?

Went through the drive-thru, took my order and my money, proceeded to tell me to wait in reserved parking 1. Waited 20 mins before I got sick of waiting and went into the store to ask for my order, they completely forgot about it and rushed it.

This was my first time at a Popeyes restaurant. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful and explained all of my options and choices. That’s why they get one star instead of zero. The food was horrible with absolutely no taste, and they didn’t send any of the dipping sauces in the bag that I took home for my family. Considering I live an hour away, returning for the sauces wasn’t an option.

I have edited my review from the first 2 stars I gave them. I have since been back to this Popeye's location. I have been there at lunchtime and dinner time. The food was great, but even better was the service. They were friendly had chicken ready and happy to have you as a customer. Thanks Popeye's. Great food, but the service needs work. Came in at 530 and did not have much chicken cooked. Several people were waiting, and I would think around dinnertime they would be ready.

Just tried the new spicy chicken sandwich. Absolutely amazing! The fries were also great. I do love Chick Fil A sandwiches too, but the Popeyes one is a little more juicy and has even more flavor! We visit this location often. The chicken, biscuits, red beans n rice and everything else is always hot and fresh. The drive thru is slower than chick fil a but it is well worth the wait. Dexter served us our food at the Window and he was very polite and funny.

7-3-18 I got lunch here today and went through drive thru I was asked if I wanted 1 or 2 sides. I said 1 but I didn't get just 1 I got 2. I got mashed potatoes and didn't even ask for them and wasn't asked if i wanted dipping sauce for my chicken tenders plus I didn't get any napkins or silverware. I'm tired of people not listening or understanding my order. I will NOT be back again.
