Fancy and great! Took a mother-in-law for a surprise 60th and the waitstaff were very accommodating. The food was expectantly spendy and tasty. The cocktail drink were a smaller ~6oz container, but don't let that fool you. I ordered the best tasting black Russian in all of Sioux Falls and it was only $6. $1 per ounce makes it a great value for exquisite taste. I will definitely be coming back when I visit Sioux Falls next.

If you’re in Sioux Falls, eat here! I enjoyed a memorable dinner at Morrie’s while in Sioux Falls on business. The Pecan Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon was among the best filets mignon I’ve ever had—incredibly flavorful and cooked (rare) perfectly. The batter preparation on the Bronzed Walleye was done really well. My colleagues ordered a variety of steaks and also the Osso Bucco, and all reported their dishes were excellent. The bone marrow appetizer was very fun to try. Lobster mashed potatoes were delicious. The table service was very good—I’m sorry I don’t recall the waiter’s name to give him credit. We finished with a wine flight and desserts pairing that was scrumptious! Crème Brûlée with a 40-year-old Port. Wow! The custard-filled crêpe was delectable. There was more...too much to mention...all delicious!

My husband and I just went here for our 10 year anniversary. We don't go out much so we don't know a whole lot about anything fancy. We had an Amazing waiter! He helped us decide on the perfect wine and helped us decide on the perfect entree. The food was Amazing. Very good! We showed up just before they opened and were about to go back in the car when one of the owners greeted us and welcomed us in. We will definitely go back again and highly recommend this place. I would dress nice casual and expect to pay.

Waiter recommended a nice wine as well. Will def be back. Spendy so may only be on special occasions but def will return.

Honestly the best steak I've ever had. And that's saying something. I had the sirloin with the poivre crust. The food was amazing. The service was exceptional, good vibes too. Most people dressed business casual. I felt a little out of place in my hoody and tennis shoes but was well worth it!

Fantastic dining experience. Very, very expensive but you truly get what you pay for. Anyone comparing this to a generic chain like Texas Roadhouse must not be familiar with good food. The wait staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and look sharp wearing vests and ties. This location also serves Japanese Wagyu beef, an incredibly decadent and delicious treat. Please note that this is an upscale dining experience, wear a button down or nice blouse at a minimum. No shorts or T-shirts!

Perhaps the only place in Sioux Falls that can make a steak better than I can at home. The pork belly fried rice is something everyone should try. Terrific smokey flavor with a tantalizing presentation where you mix the over easy eggs into the steamy, hot rice and watch the yolk cook before your eyes. We're told by the GM that they tried a dozen different kinds of rice before settling. Unique and delicious.

The Morgan Ranch Wagyu Bone in Ribeye was super tender and the Skuna Bay Salmon was cooked perfectly as well. Don't leave without getting dessert! The whole experience was definitely worth the money. Very good food, upscale, great wait staff. The busboy constantly circled the room and removed used plates. The bathroom had rolled cloth towels rather than paper or air dryers. Great selection of wines. Amazing cheesecake. Hubby had perfectly cooked porterhouse, I had the monk fish. Nicely seasoned. More expensive than we're used to, but a lovely dining experience. Two raspberry iced teas, two salads, a porterhouse dinner and a monk fish dinner, two cheesecake slices, tip, $159.00

Morrie's has fairly consistently been a great steak house (and meal in general). The Au Pouivre ribeye is absolutely perfect and something I would go out of my way for. We go probably once a month at least. The Cauliflower Steak is a great vegetarian choice, the sweet potatoes are huge, and the mashed potatoes are creamy and perfectly seasoned. Would absolutely recommend to others looking for a good asual or a little more upscale meal.

Ben was the best server I have ever had the pleasure of bothering for two and a half hours. He took the time to patiently explain the nuances of fine dining to us uncultured plebs. • Great atmosphere • attentive waitress • Great pork belly fried rice • I ordered the pork chop and thought they cooked it perfectly. I wasn't a big fan of the sauce.. it was too sweet for me • the Morrie's ribeye steak was cooked exactly how we wanted it (medium rare). The topping and sauce covered the taste of the steak. We thought maybe ordering the regular ribeye would've been better. • we would definitely return again to try the other food in the menu

Wow, my mouth just automatically started reflexively watering thinking about Morrie's as I write this. Like Pavlov's dogs...My husband received a large gift card for this place from his staff for Christmas and what a perfect gift! Yes, it's a little pricey, but well worth it. Ken and Tim, the owners, know how to run a great restaurant, for sure. The staff is so professional and courteous. I always feel like a VIP when I eat there. It's a fancy restaurant, yet I can feel comfortable walking in wearing jeans just as much as if I'm wearing dress pants. From the appetizers (my fave is the cauliflower "steak") to the starter salads and bread, all the way to the thick, juicy, perfectly-aged steaks and uniquely and deliciously prepared side vegetables (their baked potatoes are ENORMOUS), Morrie's knows how to feed and cater to their patrons. I've never left there thinking, "Yeah, that was pretty good, but I could still go for a little something..." Every time I've left I'm feeling like I'm royalty that just left the king's table...I'm full and ready for my carriage ride home.

This is honestly the nicest restaurant I've ever dined at. Our server, Ashley, was friendly and attentive.i ordered a medium well ribeye steak and was very happy with the presentation, seasoning and flavor. The baked potato was very large and cooked to perfection with olive oil and sea salt. The sour cream and butter that was served on the side was not necessary. I would definitely recommend Morrie's!

For sure one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Great sides and salad as well. The atmosphere is a little on the upscale side, but casual clothing is fine. The menu is on the high price side in my opinion, but it is a pretty nice place. The waitress was quick with the drinks and salad and not too pushy on the specials. The restaurant was full but our meals came within 20 minutes of ordering. The aged ribeye was perfectly cooked and was nicely seasoned and the mushrooms and onions I ordered with the steak covered the entire plate - definitely not skimpy on them. If I ordered the mushrooms and onions again, I would get them on the side. My wife ordered the chicken with rice which was also perfectly done. We would go back again but probably only on a special occasion. I have had steaks just as good at other local steakhouses but you kind of pay for the atmosphere and experience here.

We were looking for a good steak dinner during our visit to Sioux Falls, and Morrie's hit every button for us. The food was outstanding - we had the bacon appetizer, a ribeye, a filet, and finished with the Death by Chocolate Cake. As great as the food was, our experience was made even better by our outstanding server, Laurie. We are from Omaha where it is not difficult to find a great steakhouse, and Morrie's is right up there with the best we have had. We will definitely be back next time we're in Sioux Falls.

I gave this restaurant 5 ⭐'s because I can't give it 7⭐'s. The menu is unbelievable. You can custom cut any steak for the most part. I usually order a custom cut 32oz NY strip (please don't tell my cardiologist). Seafood, chicken and duck. The appetizers are amazing. Even the side dishes are just fantastic. As for the wine menu, there is nothing like it in Sioux Falls. The wine menu will hold its own against the best of them, local, national and do I even dare say world wide. You just have to see for yourself. Which brings me to the dessert menu. It could use some of the same creativity and awsomeness both the dinner menu and the wine menu exhibit. The dessert menu just seems like an after thought compared to all the work which was put into creating the dinner/wine menus. Finally, the service. They don't have just one good server at Morries. They have several. You can eat there every day of the week and have a different server every time, and you will experience some of the best service in all of Sioux Falls every time. I promise.
