Love this place! Been going there since I was a kid and it's a nice atmosphere with great service and food. It brings back so many memories for me and my family. I would recommend this place to anybody who travels to a Aberdeen.

Maybe it's because we visited on a Tuesday night at 7 pm, but I just wasn't impressed with the food here. It wasn't bad, but I think I could have made the exact same thing at home and it would have tasted identical. Portion sizes felt a bit small too.

Without a doubt some of the nicest people. You get a family feel as soon as you walk in the door. However what you are paying and how much food you receive is sad. I walked out paying over 25$ for two meals and still had to find food somewhere else..... small portions and not the best tasting. It was okay. Wouldn't be going back.

I first stopped in here in 1995 and never forgot the place. Now 23 years later retired I've got my wife and we came through on the way to Rushmore and was so happy to see it still here. Was not disappointed, great food and family atmosphere. Just wish we had one in Utah. Can't say enough great food and service. I wish the Millstone Restaurant many more years of 5 stars.

Came from out of town. Walked in and waited off to the side across from another waiting group. And we waited. Another couple walked in and stood in front of us. AND GOT SEATED IMMEDIATELY. They skipped us entirely. The other group walked out. No one even bothered to ask us who was waiting first, even though we'd been there at least 5 minutes. Terrible way to treat potential customers.

Lawsuit is in progress yes you have the right to serve anyone Throw out for sexual harassment, by a waitress that I did not even have as a server. Be prepared to go to court. Manager, all Witnesses along with my server which was 57 years old as a witness. It is not my fault the frame of the mind of the person that I am talking translate the phrase the wrong way. That is not sexual harassment. That is the state of a person's mind not mine. This sexual harassment thing has gone way too far for anyone to try to use against someone. Yes you have the right to refuse service to anyone, but accusing someone of something they didn't do going to cost you

One of the worst breakfasts I've ever had!!! Got the steak and eggs... steak was wet and looked boiled, undercooked, chewy and bland!! Hashbrowns were stuck together and over cooked. They were hard, crunchy, with a burnt taste. Second time I've been here and the first time my food was cold! Will never be going back here again. Mediocre

My hash browns had someone black hair in it and when our food came to the table it was cold as could be I talked to the manager and I asked him don't the cook need to have a beard net over his face and the manager said no just on his hair well when the hell is a beard

We stopped in for Dinner Sunday night , suprised they were open till 11pm everynight! Dinner came with a full fresh salad bar complete with 2 soups & Ham and beans: ) Monday morning we came right back for a huge breakfast, priced right. This is a sister location to the ones in Rapid City, which are always good. My wife ordered steak and eggs, steak rare, and it came out undercooked and cold. I asked two different servers about it, one told me they cook from frozen on their steaks, the other said their steaks are never frozen but rare steaks do have a cool center. With shoulders shrugging and head shaking I'm wondering which is true?

I love finding these little mom-and-pop restaurants while on the road. We ate here for breakfast. The food was delicious, (and we're from Louisiana so that should tell you something haha).. the only thing (which was kinda laughable) was, my wife asked for some cinnamon for her oatmeal, and the waitress accidentally brought her cocoa powder instead. the staff was very friendly and attentive though. We loved it all around, definitely would recommend this place to anyone!!

I stopped into Perkins yesterday, waited 20 minutes with no service so left and ate at the Millstone. I'm very glad I did, I came back today for supper and was equally as impressed. Alissa was my server and does a wonderful job. The manager that was on both nights is the friendliest restaurant manager I've ever met, and she remembered me from last night. That doesn't happen often. I listened to her speak to the other servers about an issue with the bill, and the way she spoke to them so they understood was outstanding. She didn't talk down to her or yell. She walked around and called many people by name and asked about their days. Top notch management, and looks professional as well. The caramel rolls are probably the best part of the visit, took onenfor breakfast both nights. I would recommend going in here for sure.

My husband and I just moved to town for his railroad job, and this was the first place we tried in our town. I absolutely love it here: it’s got a diner feel and you can tell the staff is just like “family.” The manager is so nice, Friendly, and outgoing. She even talked me into trying tomato soup, and I’m glad she did. I don’t particularly like tomatoes but it was quite good. We’ll be back and with our family’s coming from out of town in the coming weeks we will have to treat them to one of the sticky buns. I wish i caught the manager’s name as she was so friendly and helpful about places and locations in town.

We stopped in Aberdeen for breakfast after hurrying out of a not great hotel in Watertown. The Millstone had good reviews so we decided to try it, even though Perkins was closer to our road. Both of us were very glad we did! The staff was extremely friendly and the food filling and delicious. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was full of good sausage and eggs. Seat 2 ordered the corned beef hash. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. We tried a bit of each other's food and were very impressed. It seems like a great place for travelers and was full of friendly locals.

Worst service ever. This is the second time I have been ignored during my visit here. I had to walk up to the counter in order to get my coffee refill. My waitress just stood at the counter hunched over on her phone the entire time. I'm currently still waiting for my bill and a to go box. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and got sick after a few bites. There was hardly any sauce and the portion of the dish was much smaller than the dinner portion which I had asked for. And after a few bites had gotten physically sick! As a paying customer i felt ignored.

I kind of thought for a salad bar as meter as this one was that 10.25 was kind of on the high side. The bread pudding was bland the breadsticks that were out tasted like they were more than a day or so old, they were dry and not too good. I'm going to say I probably would try not to eat there again.

The food was good. I made my way to the counter top service rather than taking up a whole table. Order was taken and was prepared on time and we'll. While I'm eating the manager I guess stands in front of me and to the left. She started working on time cards. she stopped and helped a paying customer. Then she came back again and started working on the time cards. This time my waitress joined her in front of me. A whole bar yet they stood by me. I'll eat there again but, this & next time I'm taking a whole table.........

I have had taco salads at other places.This millstone needs to upgrade and add to their menu not impressed with this millstone. The millstone in Rapid City is way better than this one as they have a more menu items to choose from as aberdeen has the same ones, no change or new items added.

I ordered a buffalo burger, no bun, a side of cooked carrots, and a baked sweet potato. My well done burger was charred on the bottom and way dry. My carrots and sweet potato were badly over cooked, and like mush. The chef does not know that veggies and potatoes should be savored with their flavor, not over cooked like food for someone who can not chew.

The all you can eat spaghetti was superb. They give you a nice portion and it is well presented. The s'mores brownie ice cream taste just like a brownie. I enjoyed the food and the service here is good too. I recommend Millstone to anyone who wants a good quality meal in a family style restaurant.

I stopped by after midnight on my way home from work. Naturally i was one of the only ones there. Service was immediate and friendly. Food was good as it always is at these restaurants. My waitress did a wonderful job at making sure i had what i needed immediately. Price was great as well. I ordered the hungry man skillet. I have no complaints!

The food on the menu is simple food, but consistently good. They have a good soup and salad bar, and some meals you can add the salad bar onto for around 3 bucks. They have daily meal deals. Breakfast is available all day. The wait staff is always friendly. The food always comes out pretty quickly. Their carmel rolls are great and the coffee is good too. It's family friendly. The dining rooms and bathrooms are clean. It seems to be a local gathering spot. Tons of locals are always here drinking coffee and spending time with friends and family. Pricing is fairly cheap, expect around 10 bucks per person.

The waitress deserves a 5 star - I ordered the Wednesday special - thick pork chops, wrong 1/4" is NOT thick- very disappointed. Mashed potatoes were instant- how did I know for sure, small little flakes not cooked. Gravy and corn could have been out of a can not sure. The salad bar was ample, not outstanding. Sorry maybe I should have made it a 2 star but the service from the waitress raised it.

On June 4 at noon I ordered a hot beef combination and it was the best, I went back the same day for supper to get another one (Hot Beef Combination) and it was not good at all. Different beef and did different dressing. It must be different chef in the kitchen at the time.

The service is fast here and there seem to be a lot of regulars when we came in. I was not overly impressed with the food. It didn't have a lot of flavor and my omlete had a slice of american cheese melted over the top none on the inside. If you need a quick meal this place is it, but if you are looking for a lot of flavor maybe not the place.
