Wow, I ordered mozzarella sticks and they told me they didn't have marinara sauce even though it was advertised. You fried salad shrimp with enough batter to make it look like a medium size shrimp and called it a meal. Each table comes with a fly to bother. Change your oil, my fries weren't cooked all the way and still tasted like a combination of everything ever fried in your deep fryer. And tell me, why add hash browns to a corned beef hash meal?? And the smaller portion.

I ordered the 3 meat skillet and I was surprised when my food was placed in front of me. Here there skilled potatoes are what we call steak fries back home. My toast was cold, my skillet was a plate, and it wasnt hot it was more of a room temperature. I asked for ranch for my fries and it was very good. That is a dish that I will not order again. I gave it 4 stars because the atmosphere and our waitress was great.

I love the ice cold Mason jars for soda. Other than tho my scrambled eggs were runny. My hashbrowns were burnt...and my biscuits and gravy had no flavor . Unless flour is a flavor .

Fast, friendly service. Building is a little run down and bathrooms were not very clean. Not healthy food, but delicious. Parents: Kids menu with most of the standard pasta, chicken fingers, etc. Free coloring to keep kids busy.

Wonderful absolutely delightful restaurant. Next to 1880 Town, Rushmore, and Wall Drug. Marlin's is so good that a trip to South Dakota would be failed if you had not stopped at Marlin's. In fact Nicholas Cage only wanted you to believe that Rushmore had the hidden treasure...the real National Treasure is right here in Sioux Falls at Marlin's.

I had the taco salad, was very good. My husband had a buq bacon cheese hamburger it's was supposed to be just a bacon cheese hamburger, but he said it was good. He told the waitress she checked and she wrote it down right, so it was the cook fault. Never took any thing off the check. I would go back again.

We ha e eaten here on several occasions and never had a complaint, this time the floors we not swept, tables were dirty and out sampler platter was still frozen in the middle. Granted the server was kind to get us a new one. However when we came she should have been cleaning off the dirty tables instead of reading. We had the two for $20 meal deal and it wasn't that great. Should have stuck with the hamburgers

Great place for diner style food! The hamburger steak and eggs breakfast was great, especially with the blueberry muffin. Friendly server, seems like a local hangout, wish I'd had room for pie.

The meal was barely warm and no taste. I only ate a couple of bites of the fish. It was greasy and the French fries tasted like they'd been fried in old oil. The California blend veggies had no flavor. I added butter, salt and pepper.

OUTSTANDING I have been there 3 days and had 3 different meals served by 3 different hostesses and each visit has been outstanding. My meals have all arrived hot and fresh and with a smile. The conversation has always been light and polite. I highly recommend the place for lunch! I'll be back!

Good food bad service. Took over an hour to get our food. That's a big no go when you have deadlines and schedules to keep. It wasnt until AFTER we ordered and had sat there for half an hour we overheard theblafy tell another customer that itd be over an hour before people started getting their food. Had we known that we would of went elsewhere. I wont be going back to Marlins again sadly.

Really a neat place. Wide mouth quart jars for drinking attire. Very neat decor. Lemon aid was cold and refreshing. Wasn't hungry but will be stopping back to check the food out. Maybe this winter when there shouldn't be flies. Cuz that was the only thing I can't take are flies around the dinner table

We went for the all you can eat fish special on Friday night. It was crispy, fresh and hot. It came with fries and Cole slaw. We didn't care for the Cole slaw it tasted like it was made 5 minutes ago. The service was good. We will go again sometime.
