So many things went wrong I don't know where to beginning. I ordered arroz con pollo. The meal did not look like arroz con pollo. The put like one tablespoon of rice topped with a weird combination sauce thing. My food was soooooo soggy. And so I asked if they can help me out and they brought back another plate with the same thing but everything separated. The rice portion was disappointing. The sauce was nasty. And what kind of Hispanic restaurant are they with no maduros. The beans were puréed and watery. I didn't understand. And my meal was 15$. Totally overpriced. I left highly disappointed. I wouldn't recommend getting arroz con pollo. And the waiter was so close to me when he was speaking. Speaking over my food. He pointed at my food and touched it. Sigh. The food came out pretty fast. So I can't complain about that. But I don't think I would go there again. Totally different Hispanic restaurant I've every been to. The Decor inside was really nice.

We do like to visit Guadalajara for authentic Mexican food. We spent many years living in California and love the Mexican food there, which is different from the Tex-Mex style. Guadalajara is like the authentic Mexican flavor we were used to in SoCal. And we met Hector. He also made dining at Guadalajara a pleasant experience. When we do go there now, we ask for Hector to wait on us. We found out today, too, that when he gets busy, the owner may bring your food to you.

We used zip dish to order from Guadalajara in Brookings. Guadalajara charged us $20 for for 4 quesadillas and $21 for four cheese dips. With these cheese dip's game only one bag of chips. When I alerted zip dish to my displeasure they blamed Guadalajara. When I called Guadalajara they refused to do anything to help me. I will never order from zip dish who clearly doesn't care about customer service nor will I ever set foot in Guadalajara who overcharges for microwave frozen Mexican food. Our order totaled over $70 This was our second and last experience. Last time we ordered carry out and they told us to come get it right away. We waited for over an hour, were overcharged, and our order was wrong.

DO NOT GO HERE. I placed a simple to go order for Queso (Cheese Dip) and Chips. When placing the order none of them could speak english, no one knew what I wanted so it made it very hard to order. When I got there they told me my total was $15.62!? FOR WHAT? Chips and cheese? They had said the price was so high because I did not order a meal there so the cheese was $5 and the chips were another $4 and the salsa was extra as well? What kind of Mexican restaurant charges $4 for chips when you order a dipping sauce to go? The lady was rude and was trying to say we have to pay for the chips separate because it was a to go order. We got the cheese and it was cold. Bottom line is do not go to this restaurant and do not give these crooks your money. $15 for CHIPS AND QUESO, LOL

This is the best Mexican restaurant in town. I recommend the Chile Verde burrito. The pork is sooo tender.

Great, friendly, and fast service. We were really impressed based on how busy they were. We went on Cinco de Mayo Friday night move out weekend and the food was flavorful and authentic Mexican-American. The chimichangas were a little small but we left feeling full. The guacamole was the best I've ever had. Margharitas could've used more alcohol content. Overall good experience though.

They made sure to surprise my father-in-law with a birthday treat without us asking but meerly seeing the birthday presents and taking action. My evening visit to this restraint was good a first, seated right away with free water, chips, and salsa. But after that it was quite a long wait for the drink orders. We did get our drinks and God our food ordered. The food was good but not great. Serving sizes were perfect and adjusted well for the price. Overall a good place to go.

Every time I've eaten here over the last few years it's always been a good experience. The food is awesome and the staff are polite. It starts with fresh chips and salsa they give you while your waiting on your food, which usually isn't too long of a wait. They're usually good at keeping your drink topped off and asking if you need anything. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I only eat there maybe once a year, just because I don't eat in anywhere very often. The last visit it's like the waitress forgot about us after we ordered the food. I wanted a soda pop, not water. After 15 or 20 minutes the waitress told us it would be a few minutes on the soda because they were switching co2 on the machine, finally 10 minutes later we get soda, and our food. Usually there topping my drink off by that point. I base my tips on the ability for me to keep a drink in front of me while I'm eating so she pretty much got a pity tip. At least the food was good, I'm definitely going to be a little worried the next time I want to eat there, probably bring a soda in worth me just in case.

Best Mexican restaurant in the area. Fast and friendly service with hot plates and even hotter (spicy) food. I highly recommend this place for lunch and supper plans. Reasonable prices for large portions in a festive and clean environment. Try their original green hot sauce, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Authentic Mexican food (at least for this far North) at a reasonable price. Their chips and salsa are usually the life of the party if you need something easy to bring. The food doesn't have the "chain decorativeness" on the plate, but it tastes just as good, and better most times, than anywhere.

I had the chimichanga with the Mexican rice and refried beans, and the fried ice cream for dessert. The only thing that wasn't very good was the ice cream. They needed to change their frier grease, you could taste that it was getting old. Otherwise the food was great. The servers were very nice, and were nice to our 2 year old, taking the time to talk to him. The place was clean and decorated nice. Prices were very reasonable. I would eat here again.
