You're not going to find anything exceptionally fancy here, but what you will find is some tasty and thoughtfully prepared comfort food and some of the friendliest service on earth. The soup of the day was knoepfla, which was some of the best stuff I've had from a restaurant in a long time. The dumplings were well cooked without being gummy, the base was well seasoned - seriously, I would've brought this home with me in a giant bucket if I could. The Great Plains burger was solid, if not exceptional - the patty was hand-formed and well seasoned if a tad bit overcooked. Dessert made up for it though. The pies are exceptional. Among our party of four we shared blueberry, apple, and coconut cream. All were amazing (they're apparently made by the mother of our exceedingly delightful server), but the coconut cream was definitely the standout. And to boot, you're going to get some of the genuinely nicest service you could ever find. On a nearly-dead Sunday afternoon in Mobridge, this place was packed. Trust the locals on this one and stop in.

The food was excellent! Service was fantastic! Prices are in line with most in the average price range. Willing to work with special eating plans. (Mine is keto-paleo.) I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that I like!

Usually it is a great place to have breakfast or lunch, I don't think I've had a bad meal here. Today was different. There was a waitress that assumed she could read my mind; she interrupted me every time I spoke, she was not friendly and forgot a lot of our requests. Overall, the bad service made my overall experience poor. I've never been served by this lady before. If I thought I would have her as my waitress, from now on, I would not eat here any more.

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday, August 13 as we were passing through town on a motorcycle trip. We walked in and seated ourselves. As we sat at our table, both waitresses were by our table 3-4 times and never acknowledged us. We sat for over 5 minutes waiting to get menus, but no one came to our table. We got up and left. As we were walking out, overheard the waitress ask the other "why are they leaving". If you are from out of town, don't stop here!

Ms. Wollman is such a pleasant lady and the PIE is to DIE for. And the pieces are huge! All the food we have had here is great. I would honestly rather eat here than the Fireside or anywhere else in Mobridge.

Wish this family restaurant was within my community! Wonderful home cooked meal, priced reasonable, excellent pies, maybe the best I have ever eaten. All meals are generous portions, restaurant very clean, neat, and well cared for by staff. This is an excellent place to enjoy, breakfast and lunch in this community, you can always be assured of quality, cleanliness, and friendly faces there! Its super! Enjoy!!
