Absolutely love this restaurant!! Service is excellent & food is delicious. Good sake & delicious Avocado shake! The salmon skin hand roll is delicious, the sashimi salad is so good..this is defiantly my go to sushi when in Rapid City. Would highly recommend. It's located at the mall so there is plenty of parking

If you're looking for a hidden gem, this is it! My Co worker told me, to my disbelief, that these guys had the best sushi in town. If course I didn't believe it but my wife and I decided to stop in for a quick roll to see what the hype was about. That quick roll turned into dining in and having 4 rolls. This is by far the best sushi I have ever had and will become our new go to place in town. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's a bit over priced. Yes, it's amazing, but we spent $60 on 4 rolls and two beers. Some of their rolls get up in the $12-$14 range

stopped in to get a "boba tea." I saw on the sign - before u enter the restaurant, that they had boba tea! i was excited lol. i wanted to give it a try, so I did. the person working at the bar was very friendly and sociable. she told us how the drinks were made and you could just tell she really loved her job and wanted to talk to us. I like how the boba tea is thick like a milkshake, rather watered-down like actual tea. I got the cappuccino one and it was perfect. Definitely gunna go back sometime, and maybe try the food too. :)

Was genuinely a great experience. Staff was very professional and friendly. My girlfriend and I went there as one of our first actual dates. Food was prepared, cooked and presented beautifully. Strong and flavorful meal. I had ordered a General Tso bento box, while my girlfriend ordered a California and Boston roll. Will highly recommend too others. Warning it is a bit pricey, but nothing short of what you will pay for.

I'll start of by saying the sushi was pretty good, not really any complaints there. The egg rolls were a little lackluster but not bad. I'm not sure if it was just the server but when I walked in I stood there for a few minutes waiting to be seated, as I waited another person came in behind me. The server walked up and sat him right away as I'm literally standing there in front of her waiting. Then she eventually came back over and greeted me in a kind of confused way and asked if I was for here or to go and I said for here. She said sorry that she didn't see me which is confusing because I was in front of the other person behind me and literally one foot in front of her when she sat him. Okay, no big deal, it just took a few minutes. I sit and order, the food took probably 15-20 minutes or so to come out so a bit of a wait. I got my check, paid cash, and when she took the bill I asked for change back. 10 minutes or so go by before I get tired of waiting and just leave. Definitely not a great service experience, I'm a bit disappointed given the reviews on here.

Sushimi was great. It looked nice and the flavor was good. I watched the sushi chef slice it; he took care in how he prepared it and his knife was very sharp! The carpet could have been cleaner and the place was a bit cluttered. Old paint, old carpet and the bathrooms were dilapidated. Not a big deal but not quite 5 star.

The sushi here was really good. I got one of the specials of the day, which was called The Lion King. I also ordered an entree, general tsaos chicken, and my wife ordered a same chicken bento box. They have just the right amount of variety in their menu so you're not overwhelmed by all the choices but you could still get something different every time you go. And if you don't like sushi there's about 6 entrees to choose from and they come with rice and soup/salad.

I am staying in Rapid city for a few months and was looking for a good sushi place. I tried coco and was very unhappy with the product. the rice was starchy the tuna was pale color. then I tried Fuji. pleasant to deal with and received fresh sushi. it was tasty and exactly what I needed. but don't ask for crunch in spicy tuna roll. they give you a lot of crunch! too much crunch! LOL but a great experience and I will be visiting them again.

So happy with our experience at Fuji Sushi & Sake Bar. In from Chicagoland, where we have so many fabulous sushi restaurants at our fingertips. Also, have a son with severe allergy to dairy and nuts. Staff was excellent and friendly. Was assured they could safely accommodate his food allergy. All ingredients were fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend this place!!!!!

There's some amazing entrees on the menu here, and there's some options that seem to come straight out of the food court. But the items that seem to be made in the kitchen are quality dishes. I highly recommend the Unagidon if your wallet will agree with you. The prices can be a bit high but alot of it is worth it. Also one of the few places in Rapid City I've found to serve Bubble Tea.

Best sushi place in Rapid City! My husband and I come here as much as we can. You have to try the Ocean roll and/or the vegetable fried rice! They have the BEST fried rice I've ever had in my life! My husband and my mother-in-law both tried the fried rice and loved it! Friendly atmosphere, quiet and professional. If i could, i would give this 10 stars!

I always call in an order for a California roll for carryout for my wife. They always get it done right around ten minutes and 6 bucks and im on my way. It's always delicious and consistent. I've seen the chef set the plates out for the servers and the sushi jiggles its so fresh. For the furthest inland state we sure are spoiled to have such great sushi here in Rapid.

Not only is the sushi fantastic, they make the best bubble tea in town. The consistency is better, that is smooth, and they have more bubbles. More than anything, the service is phenomenal, especially from Andy, who I thought was the restaurant manager given how well he took care of me. This is a definite must-go-to if you are a local, or are just in for a quick visit, or like me are here for an extended stay. Don't miss out!

This has become one of our favorite lunch spots. It doesn't look like much - it occupies the location of a former sports bar in Rapid City's tired and increasingly-vacant shopping mall - but the food is pretty fantastic. Easily one of Rapid City's best sushi restaurants. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Prices are a little steep for the Black Hills market, but not totally out of line.
