My experience was not so good, today in this restaurant. Order The Special “Goat in tomato based curry accompanied by rice. The surprise was that they only placed small bones without any goat meat. The person who served me had to bring another order and change the first one. the wait was more than half an hour. No one came to apologize. So I presume it was a mistake. But those things should not happen.

This restaurant was great. I had Beef coconut rice the first time and it was phenomenal. The Bubble teas were decent, loaded with tapioca pearls, which I liked. I had the Japanese Yaki Pan Noodles, which were great, but had too much soy sauce which made it salty, a tip for the chef. Otherwise, a great restaurant. Would Recommend!

Just visited the new Flavor location right on Main Ave, and wow was it awesome!! It's a great space, very tastefully designed. My server was very helpful! I'm not familiar with the fare but she walked me through everything and helped me find my dish. Also, I am not a fan if spicy food but a two on the spicy meter was just perfect! I went with Korma curry with shrimp alongside basmati rice. Delightful and very filling. Also, DO get the house iced tea! Wow! Way better than your usual sweet tea. Check it out!

Hi there, I am a regular customer to this store. I buy few things like Noodles, Cookies, and Candies. I like variety of food available here. One thing that disappointed me is... I love Hajmola candies but I found those are expired here. (Really expired. whose exp. Date: 2015/11). I showed them to the keeper few months ago. I kept this post only after I found they are not replaced yet. I visit the store often. I will surely take my post off once they are removed.

Take-out takes a lot longer than they say. It was supposed to take 10 minutes and took 45. There was no one at the register for 15 minutes. Food was good though.

The absolutely amazing food is only outshined by the friendly and wonderful staff. I always enjoy coming there and getting my bobba tea fix, with dinner. If you haven't been before I would recommend going on Tuesday during their buffet night it is very well priced and you get to sample a variety of dishes.

It is a good place to eat. A good atmosphere, attentive staff, good presentation, generous portions and quality food. However it must be noted that if you want the hot stuff it can get pretty hot. So start at three before going to five. This is a good place that offers something more than your generic Chinese or standard fair in town and for miles around.

I ordered chicken biryani and it was horrible. There was not even a bit of biryani flavor. C’mon, you got Indian grocery store and you sell biryani masala. Please use it. Just white rice with salt and red chili pepper with boiled chicken doesn’t make biryani.

I went here after a walk off of main street, and this place put the cherry on an already lovely day. The store has a great, relaxed atmosphere, the service was outstanding, and the food.... ah man, the food was awesome! A wide variety of flavors to choose from, good prices for what your getting, and everything seemed very traditional. If you're looking for a place to stop for lunch or dinner while your in Brookings, I would HIGHLY recommend this place. You won't be disappointed :)

I'm so thoroughly impressed by this place, I can't stop talking about it. I was only visiting Brookings on business but I want to come back just to visit Flavor again. I highly recommend anyone living or visiting Brookings to try it out. Especially considering it's one of the few eateries to offer vegetarian options, and they have plenty!

Clean & Comfortable seating with great views of main. We had the Pad Thai and rice dishes and there was alot of food. We had to get containers to take leftovers home. The cauliflower and fried cheese appetizers were gone in minutes. The open store at the rear exit was a sweet surprise. We will be recommending this place.

My favorite Brookings restaurant by far! Beautiful new location. Absolutely delicious food here. My friends enjoyed the pad Thai. The beef was so tender in my curry sauce. Samosas and Naan bread are a must! Reservations recommended. I'll be back!

Great food, flavorful and the staff is friendly. Don’t be afraid to get your spice on when eating here! If you can tolerate jalapeños then a 3 spicy is appropriate, if not then stay at a 2 or a 1. The staff says their 5 spicy is similar to habanero (these peppers just used as a reference).

So glad we decided to try this restaurant. Clean, friendly, definitely delicious, and very reasonably priced!! Our server, David, was exceptional. Very personable and helpful. He wasn't afraid to get answers to my questions concerning some dietary issues. This was a great experience and we will absolutely come back next time we're traveling through the Brookings area!!

Fantastic in everyway. The staff is friendly, they make sure you enjoy your meal, pretty quick service. The bubble tea is definitely worth a try, and the naan is a great addition to the meal.

We were so impressed! Just went here for the first time with some friends. My husband had the korma curry and I had the yellow Thai curry. Both were SO good. The portions were very generous, so we’re enjoying a full meal of leftovers today. It was very busy on a Friday night, which made the service a bit slow, but the staff was courteous and we didn’t feel rushed. If you are in Brookings and are looking for a restaurant that’s different from everywhere else in town, definitely try out Flavor. We think it’s the best restaurant in Brookings!

The servers were friendly enough and the atmosphere was nice but the food wasn't very good. I had the goat meat curry special. I'm not sure what part of a goat that was but it seemed like the goat equivalent of a ham hock. There were lots of little shards of bone in the meat that made it pretty inedible. The rose lassi seemed like it must have curdled or something and the glass was about half foam. The wait for the food was quite a while. I didn't time it but with an anxious toddler it seemed like forever. I was hoping the food would be worth it but I was disappointed.

Nice we have this here. Food is fresh, restaurant clean, staff friendly. The lunch buffet on Friday and Saturday is really good. There is one in Sioux Falls behind the Home Depot that is a bit better with a 7-day a week buffet but that's expected from a city it's size. This one is comparable to the buffets I tried in Rapid City whereas the Sioux Falls one is better than any of them. Either way I give 5 stars for Buffet quality and just being here in Brookings. The staff here is more friendly than the one in Sioux Falls also.
