The food is cooked to order so it always comes out hot and fresh. The chicken is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, just like it should be. The shrimp are a good size and come out crispy without being overdone. I'm a fan of the potato salad. The side dishes are all made in the store as well

The service here was mediocre at best. I could have and would have overlooked the service if the food was even ok. The only good part was the crispy skin. Once I got past the skin it was grossly undercooked. I got take away. I did eat it... after cooking it for an additional 15 minutes in my oven at home. This was my first and last trip. I'd rather stop at the humvee deli.

Would rate zero if I could. Ordered chicken, got charged. No chicken delivered and they closed for the night. Worst service ever. Edit: finally delivered half hour later than the maximum time stated at time of order. Chicken soggy. No apology or action to show our business is valued.

In total six of us from our work decided to give the new place a try. We had a mixture of orders that included chicken and brisket, and sides of coleslaw, chili, potato salad, Mac n cheese wedges, potato wedges and more. We all agreed we would never come back. Chicken was OK. The worst brisket I've ever seen. I couldn't eat it. It was a pile of flavorless fat. No side dish was even remotely decent.

Tried this spot with my dad as we like to try different places around Sioux Falls for Lunch. We each had the chicken and rib combo with fries and coleslaw. Fries were fresh - crispy on outside and hot inside. Coleslaw was delicious. However, the chicken (1 breast, 1thigh) was dry and tasted like 2 day leftovers. I prefer keg, pizza ranch, or boss's (all of which are on another level compared to this) The ribs were boneless which made them easy to eat. However, they actually were leftovers and tasted like it too. They were simply taken from fridge, placed in plastic bag, and heated in the microwave. Was really expecting more for $15/plate. Oh well, live and learn.

What Bob's Carry Out has become: Cleaner, Nicer place! Menu more or less the same except no burgers n Gosh Darn It ~ No Praline Topping Pies ... YET. ~ Am grateful to have found where the Gizzards n Mac-n-Cheese Wedges went. I drive 2 hours to get there! .. I look forward to watching them as they settle in more.

Q was fall off bone tender and sauce had a tinge of sweetness. Priced right, no frills. Frank's Hot Sauce was nice touch (what I like on my chicken). Carry out or dine in. We dined in, very clean. Sides were mashed potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw. All good, but this is a chicken joint.

We took our order to go and by the time we got it home in the cardboard box the fries and chicken were saugy. I ordered over the phone without a menu in front of me and we got what we wanted but when I went to pick up our order I noticed the menu and it was super difficult to read due to small print and a super large selection crammed into the small boards.

Everything on their menu is delicious. We ordered fried chicken, brisket, baked beans, potato salad, and mashed potatoes. Tastes just like an old family recipe that has been perfected through the generations. Our only complaint is that the brisket was a little dry and needed some sauce. Great customer service and really friendly.

I could literally eat this everyday!! The secret is too call in your order ahead and receive as soon as you walk in. I have built a friendship with all the staff here and they do the same with all who comes to eat there. Food is above the rest! Spicy chicken and fries is my fave! And the know that when I walk in. The service here is wonderful. Extremely friendly staff!! This is why we gave 3 stars instead of 2. They were great! The food however is over priced and not that good. We got a sampler to kind of try everything. The brisket, I was a little scared of it. The color was gray, and it smelled a little off. The pulled pork was basic. It had some flavor, it wasnt terrible. The ribs saved the day. They were pretty fatty, but the flavor was ok. Still sub par but we ate it. Cole slaw was a little vanilla, not plain but literally vanilla. We both tasted vanilla extract, but some how, it worked. I liked it! Okra....simple frozen battered okra oven broasted. Just say to basic for the money. They seem like nice people, I would love to jump in their kitchen and show them some different cooking methods that could drastically improve the quality of the "bbq". They have the right attitude , hopefully they will bump up their quality.

Enjoyed the food, what I ordered was really tasty. I found the experience slightly confusing though. The menu is confusing and the layout is kind of odd. I rate the taste of the food above those things though which is why I gave it 4 stars.

I would give zero star if I could. I was told it would take 15 min for the food. After lots of people getting their food, there were only 2 parties left in the restaurant waiting for food. 25 minutes into the wait, a guy, seemingly an acquaintance to the staff walked in, ordered, paid. He got his food in 5 min and walked out. The 2 original parties by then had waited 30 min. I waited another 10 min for my food. I regretted going there. The whole time I waited for food, I was right in front of the guy who took my order and packed the food. What happened was not a mistake but an intention. I WILL NEVER GO BACK EVER

Chicken was good, service NOT. I arrived 2 minutes before the pickup time the website gave me for my carryout. Had to wait 30 minutes in the store! Like I don't have better things to do. Just two other customers in the store. Overall 60 minutes to make an 8 pc meal! And no discount or extras offered. Guess that's why store was empty.

This place is a complete cluster. Handed us someone else's meal, then eventually handed us "our" order that was incorrectly taken. Argued we didn't order it that way, presented receipt showing we did and they still insisted we had to pay additional for the food they didn't enter into their system correctly. Do not waste your time or money.

Worst BBQ and Chicken I have ever had and to think I write reviews on Food service business and this was worse then Popeyes or even the Banquet. Over priced for very dry little food even tried there Colslaw and almost got sick in my mouth, no smoke ring overly dry fatty brisket and ribs where like jerky and when me and my husband came in for the first time and I said first time here cashier gale was very rude and said to another older gentleman to get the order because she didn't want to deal with new customers. First and last time here as I have gotten sick in the rest room at a gas station right after I ate there food. There potato wedges where so greasy my last bite was liquid oil and had to spot it into my napkin. Horrible place to eat and Bob at Bob's caffee would be rolling over in his grave. Sham really
