They have amazing food. Cheyenne crossing is a family favorite and we try to stop by whenever we're in the area. They have amazing cinnamon rolls and their portions are very generous as well! I love the way they've expanded in the past years, it's really made it a great place to eat and relax while having fun in the Hills.

This place came highly recommended from our local friend. My wife and I ordered Indian tacos and carrot cake. The vegan taco has black beans with a little bit of spice. It's a very cool looking establishment with friendly service and lots of souvenirs to purchase.

Found this place with friends who knew about it. Blink and you'll miss it. Friendly staff. Everything coming out of kitchen looked good. Tried the Indian taco. Recommend the small unless you are sharing or want to stuff yourself silly. Dessert was fantastic-snickerdoodle cheesecake. Yum!

The Cheyenne burger was disgusting! The “meat” was mushy, the bun and cheese were cold. The burger wasn’t warm enough to melt the cheese even a little. The buffalo burger was the same. Gross. 4 of us ordered burgers a water and a pop $64!!!!! Outrageous price and really gross food. Never Again.

Everything is good. I once ordered a burger and an order of Fry Bread and used the Fry bread as the bun. WOW. Then I slept for 2 days. You won't go wrong.

This place simply is a joke. I understand that they survive because there’s no competition and they have some regular local customers and those newcomers that happened to be in the area. But if you wanna eat here, don’t waist your time. Stay away! Spent over 50 min waiting here to start eating. One server that constantly running cannot cover all restaurant guests. The food was partially ok. The prices are high, but when you hungry who cares, right? Talking about management— there’s no management here.It seem like this place is far from civilization stuck in 1980’s. Maybe it’s good for old folks that want to go back in time for sweet memories.There is a gift shop in the front with those expensive merchandise good enough just to look at them and walk by. That’s kind the same product they try to sell at restaurant. Poor, careless behavior and out dated on inside. No phone service or at least free wi-fi adds more depression and tells you that nobody wants you here.

Great brunch place with varying opening hours depending on the season. best to check ahead of time. The Indian Taco is recommended, although get a "small" one unless you want to spend the rest of the day on the couch agonizing. There is also a store in the back with Black Hills-stamped clothing and various local craft items. However, probably avoid during the Sturgis rally season, as it gets overcrowded and service easily becomes scarce.

We're from out of town, but this place was great. It definitely nails the small town, home-cooked, comfort food vibe. To make things even better, it had just started to snow when we arrived so looking out the windows at the snow coming down from the hills was beautiful. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and I can see why this would be a go-to for regulars.

Stopped in for a drink (from WI) because it says “saloon”, and it’s not (it is self serve out of a cooler/no liquor). Also, purchased one bottle of beer as a single women (with the woman Cindi checking me out). Came back to the checkout with my group I was traveling with and she gave the rudest remarks to me. Ended up walking out without my beer. Apparently to my other traveling partners they said Cindi(the cashier) was being trained, therefore other employees were near her while she was making comments. I was very disappointed in the “saloon” astablishment && the way I was treated as a paying customer.

My family and I decided to visit Cheyenne Crossing for lunch after a nice hike a few miles down the road. The service was friendly, and the wait wasn't too long. We ordered the Alaskan Cod fish & chips, a patty melt, and a bacon burger. We topped it off with some blueberry pie à la mode, which was to die for. All in all, the food was very tasty - like you'd expect from a reputable cafe nestled in a beautifully scenic area of the Midwest. It was also fun to try something new. Our experience with Cheyenne Crossing was exceptionally good and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

From the outside, you may get scared but the dinner food was really great. Ribs, lamb chops, chili and carrot cake were all amazing. Breakfast was adequate. Overall very small and busy but a real treat. You will be surprised in a good way, go in!
