We absolutely loved this quaint little spot. The wine selection is very appealing, the beer was ice cold and the plates that were brought to us were out of this world. The owner and a staff member were beyond accommodating, extremely friendly and just all around pleasant. The setup was very relaxing! It is very obvious that the staff takes great pride in what they do. Even the simple fact that the inside is very clean jumps out at you the moment you walk in the door. The owner even walked us out and spoke with us before we left. This is definitely a place that we will be frequently visiting!

I went on a Tuesday the Bartender/ Server was not customer friendly with poor service and attitude. The wine list is good. Dog was cute. The atmosphere is uncomfortable, small tables and even smaller chairs. Not a fun place to gather and get comfortable. Meatballs were cold.

What a fantastic find for a night out in Summerville, SC! Looked for something local that was open past 9pm, and this spot fit the bill, and then some! The owner was super-knowledgeable about the wines he has in stock, and wasn't pretentious about his knowledge (like you may find in other wine bars). He walked us around his cellar in the restaurant, giving his take on great wines from multiple wine regions from around the world, as well as breaking down interesting tidbits about the grapes used in different regions & answering any questions we had about certain varieties. If you're not into wine, they also have a nice selection of craft beers in bottles and a few on tap. We didn't get around to trying their Tapas offerings, but there were some mouth-watering options to choose from, as well as good wine-pairing options to go along with your glasses of vino! We're going to try to make a return trip before our trip is over to explore this gem some more!

Perhaps we were just starving, but the Brie and Ham Panini with a touch of cinnamon was delicious. Perhaps we were just thirsty, but the wine flight was perfect accompaniment. A comfortable, casual environment and friendly service make this a very enjoyable bar.

I had to switch venues very last minute for my niece’s bridal shower. I called Jason and he was so accommodating and gracious! We had an absolutely wonderful time. Everything was perfect. Excellent food. The berry bruschetta was my favorite. I love that it is kind of hidden in downtown Summerville. Perfect place to feel cozy and elevated. The portions offered enough without leaving overfilled. Great for a meal followed by a walk.

What Wine & Tapas Bar llacks in decor it makes up in spirit. Bartender was new and gave a valiant effort. Neighborhood bar with lively happy hour crowd. Excellent wine selection. Manager is a gentleman with expansive knowledge of products they are sourcing. Good edition to the slim choices in Summerville.

I usually love these little wine bars but I thought it was just, eh. The wines were just okay to me and the sandwich (turkey, Brie, and a pear compote) wasn't bad but not enough to make me want to come back. One of the bartenders seemed very annoyed to be there and the most flat affect.

My husband and I just left Wine & Tapas Bar. I love, love, love Vicki! Right away, we were immediately greeted and she made us feel so comfortable! She's extremely open, personable, and knowledgeable about the wine list. She even found a wine for my husband, the beer snob. I would just move in if I could! My boyfriend & I came here for a date night. My second time to Summerville & his first. We shared a flatbread & got a few glasses of wine. The bartender was so friendly, really knowledgeable about the wine & even shared his personal favorites with us. He gave us recommendations to continue our date night, which we really appreciated. 10/10 experience.

Went there for "Acoustic Monday ". First impression was very nice, atmosphere is cozy and the service was good. We ordered, (I ordered empanadas- for $7 was expecting 2-3 of them) Then the "acoustic" (by definition means no amplifier or electronics) music began. It was so loud and amped up, we were shouting at each other and the servers had to shout to be heard. When we asked about it, one server said they have received complaints, but the group could not turn it down any further. It was night club level loud! The food then came . . . Another expectation failure. 1 small empanada cut in half! It tasted good, just wasnt much there. Of all the tapas places I've been to, have never had such small servings. So if you like to shout to converse while drinking good wine and paying $$$ for a very small amount of food, this may be the place!

Nice, quiet spot for a couple. Small space, limited menu but the chocolate fondue was decent. Plenty of fruit and cake morsels for 4 to share for dessert. Milk Chocolate was smooth.
