Our family of five was seated with no wait - the service was amazing, our waiter was extremely attentive! Drinks were all delicious and food was out of this world. From sushi to the pan seared salmon, crab cakes, shrimp and grits, and the lobster ravioli - it was all cooked to perfection, fresh, hot, and delicious.

More than pleasantly surprised. I had the prime rib/scallop cake special and it truly was special the 8oz. prime rib looked bigger to me but I'm not complaining. My wife had the see scallops with cheddar cheese mashed potatoes (comes with cheddar cheese grits but for$1.95 up charge she got the mashed potatoes).

Overpriced..... I'm a local and you can get the same exact fish for third of the price if not half the price of what the food is being sold else where, we were profiled a d sent to the very back because of our kids, however most of the food was good, the steaks were over cooked.

Its Wahoo's! If you don't want to spend any money don't go, but if you want to have a elegant laid back experience, than this your place. The wife and I really enjoy this place, and this year for our Anniversary we brought the kids and they truly enjoyed it as well. The shrimp, rib eye steak, crablegs, warm bread, and salad is our all time favorite. A must go!

Great food. Waitress offered a suggestion from the nightly special and it was absolutely fabulous. We ate out side on the patio, which had a great view of inlet area as well as goat island and boats coming and going. Nice for adults, would get a sitter for the kids as it's a bit pricey, but well worth it.

African American you are felt not welcome. First couple there and set at exit door in back. Everyone else toward front. Felt like we didnt belong. First time ever experience this in all my years of traveling. Do not recommend!!

Outstanding!!!!!!!! Had the special, but they made it with the snapper instead of halibut as requested. Absolutely delicious, teeny tiny criticism, too much butter, but amazing nonethelesss. Lauren was the best server we have had in years, spot on, not in your face, honest and able to deal with my fussiness. Lauren should train other servers on how to be great! Good music, good vibe during a much needed time out.

Amazing place, music was great, scenery was great, and the food was spectacular. The meals are filling and plates are pretty large. There is also a ton to do close to and around Wahoo’s. I will definitely be back the next time I come to Myrtle Beach.

One of my favorite places to eat on the Grand Strand! It can be a long wait though so it’s best to make a reservation during the summer months. Sushi and the cheese grits and scallops are amazing. Also love listening to the live music on the outside patio. The restaurant is essentially two different atmospheres, inside it’s relatively upscale but outside its much more of a casual beach bar!

This place to me was the definition of average. Nothing stood out other then our server who was good and attentive but the food here was just ok and for the price there are quite a few other options in the area. I give it three stars as I didn't hate it but I would never suggest going back.

I really enjoyed the ambiance of this restaurant being it is on the coastal waterway. The food was phenomenal & delicious. Our group of 4 had the grouper, salmon, scallops & mahi mahi. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Our waiter Richard was very good at his job, very informative, intentive to our needs, friendly & personable. I would definitely suggest Wahoo's for dinner.

This was hands down the best food and service I have ever had in Myrtle Beach area. Taylor was our server and she was EXCELLENT. The oysters were fantastic and I had the chef special which was salmon on a bed of risotto. My SO had buttermilk fried chicken and gravy and it was also delicious. We were starving when we got there and Taylor promptly brought bread for my SO since he doesn't eat seafood. I highly recommend taking the trip to the marsh walk and making this a stop on your trip. Ask for Taylor!

Dana was a great waitress. We had the wahoo salad, calamari, and peel & eat shrimp for appetizers that were fantastic. Took a few minutes for main course to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The old adage you get what you pay for holds true. Thanks again.

Pros: We have been here twice and Candice was our waitress both times, she is great! First visit we had three types of sushi for dinner and they were all amazing! The Godfather is awesome! We just brought friends for a second visit. Had the crab dip which was great and the firecracker shrimp there was a lot and delicious, enough for four of us to share. Fried flounder - large portion and delicious. Banana/coconut daiquiri, it had a lot of flavor. Cons: We had the happy hour sushi, was not impressed. Very small, not well made, could not even get much flavor. Don't waste your time or money with the happy hour sushi, just go for the dinner Sushi portion. Gin martini on the deck was served in a plastic cup, full of ice, watered down. View from deck is great. Would go back for certain items.

If there was negative stars for terrible service I’d chose that.....we sat down at 8pm. After watching every table around us order and get their food, we asked our server for an ETA...she said 5 minutes. 15 minutes later at 930pm, we asked to speak to a manager at which point the “floor manager” came by and we asked for a simple explanation. To chose to argue with our entire table and tell us he had to check the ticket time to see “what time it was entered”. We made the statement that it didn’t matter if it was put in incorrectly at which point our server thought it was appropriate to fire back with “ I didn’t put it in at the wrong time”. Come to find out the ticket and order wasn’t put into the system until 9:14pm. The floor manager tried to correct me by telling me that was 21:14...which I again stated was 9:14pm and we were seated at 8. He then stated “ certainly you didn’t order very quickly after you sat down”. WHAT?! He continued to argue with us asking us if what we wanted was a discount. At this point all we wanted was to leave. He then came back and made it a point to tell us his server was crying and that “that’s wasn’t their point and if we knew how the restaurant business worked”...this statement was never finished because we had to repeatedly tell this man he was single handedly making this entire situation worse. All we asked for was an explanation, nothing else. The main manager then claimed we were “abusive” to his sever because she was crying. Finally the floor manager decided to come to our table and tell us he had taken care of the bill but in doing so elected to state the total of the bill and repeat that “if we knew the restaurant business”. Again he was cut off. Then he tried to place his hand on my shoulder to apologize. No. Never again. Worst service ever. Management is atrocious and doesn’t know how to handle confrontational situations. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant. And any possible way I know to avoid others from going here I will absolutely do it.

Only gave this place 1 star so I can leave a review would love to leave a 0 for a star this place is terrible when it comes to customer service. Never even was able to try the food. My family and I came in during a bad storm and asked to be seated. I was told it was a 35 min to 1 hour wait and I even asked to split our group of 9 up as there were plenty of seating empty that would I was told no that we didn't have reservations so we would have to wait so we stood around inside for 20 minutes to wait and no one who had reservations came in so we decided to stand on the front porch and wait since there is no where to sit inside and wait and we waited 25 minutes more and no one called to seat us but more people gathered on the porch so my husband walked over to the restaurant beside of there "Bovine" let me tell you this was the best place in the world ! Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful staff ! Delicious food worth every penny! We were told we didn't have to wait to just come on in and they fixed us up a table and everything was superb ! Do not waste time or money on a place that treats people who walk in to spend money and there facility as if they aren't good enough to be there not to mention never even called with in 35 min to 1 hour or even after that. Just go on over to "Bovine" where they know how to treat people and are welcoming with open arms! Will never ever bother going to wahoo's. Your staff needs to go next door and take notes on how to treat customers. Cause no matter of some one is dressed up or casual guess what all of our money is the same . Bovine is so dang good we not only tipped the waitress we tipped the chef!

I would have given a 4 and maybe 5 based on food. Food was very good. The service got better after we ordered however the manager apparently does not know about customer service. I was the paying party for our party of 8. One of our guest tried to order a salad and the waiter told him there would be an up charge. My guest said that would be fine but it is listed as a side. The manager came out and was very unprofessional in the way he handled things. So you better not expect customer service. I see there are more complaints about the manager.

We lucked into this place on the drive by. We stopped in because it was busy. Food was excellent service was excellent. Our waiter, Richard went over and above. We have the fresh catch of the day. The fish was fresh and local very very good. Wahoo!!!

Went in here for the first time on a very slow night. Having worked in the hospitality industry, I understand that slow nights are surprisingly difficult since you have a lot of side work that also needs to get done. The staff were pleasant and extremely attentive considering. We were being goofy and probably not easy to wait on. We ordered multiple different food items at multiple different times and simply could not get in sync. Our waiter was kind, patient and, if it bothered him, it didn't show at all. We will definitely be back!

View was nice, atmosphere wasn’t bad it was a little loud but they had the upstairs rented out to a gymnastic group. Would I eat here again? Absolutely. Is this one of my must stop when in town places? No.

Customer Service is terrible. Fried oysters, after peeling away batter actually looked like a raisin. Mashed potatoes looked like a potato that had been mashed down on the plate. Side of slaw was actually in a black plastic cup like dipping sauce comes in at other places. Do not recommend.

Short wait on a Friday night at 5pm during vacation season. Good service. Sushi was pretty slow compared to the rest of the meal, but maybe that's to be expected. We enjoyed a sushi appetizer, salmon with grits, and signature salad with shrimp. Beer selection could be better. House Cabernet was good.

Y'know the old saying- don't eat half price sushi? This is where they are talking about. It needed a hook, not a plate. If I ate it I would have been sick. I will say wait staff, management, and our shrimp appetizer was great however and will give them another shot.

Always a consistent and pleasant experience. My family and I eat there every year. I will say although it’s very good I’m not sure it stands out enough to be 5 star, especially considering the price. Fried green tomatoes are always a family favorite. Personally I get the fish of the day. Last one being Rock Fish. It was a light and clean, very palatable. Service is always good, but again nothing excites me about the place or stands out as totally memorable.

Dance floor was hoping, very busy on a Sat night. Bar area was comfortable despite cool outside temperature. Wine selection a bit limited but good beer and spirits. Did not order food, just there for late night drinks and entertainment.

Great seafood restaurant, right on the Murrell's inlet Marsh walk. Avoid the parking fee and park in their lot, because Wahoo's should be your planned destination. Our fresh fish dishes we cooked just done and the accompanying veggies were delicious. Happy hour is until 6 with some great drink deals.

Coconut risotto was pretty bland, and the kid at the table next to us was running around the dining room, being loud and rude. Otherwise, the hot crab dip was absolutely phenomenal, the calamari was cooked to perfection, my lobster ravioli was tender and delicious, my mom's scallops were buttery and soft and far from overdone like most restaurants, and my boyfriend's steak was falling apart and well seasoned. We finished off our meal with a chocolate lava cake and couldn't have been happier. Having a fantastic server made it all the better.

I know seafood. Im from the Chesapeake. But WAHOO'S served me probably the BEST seafood dinner out ive ever had. Halibut topped w crab, perfect whipped potatoes, tender steamed vegetables and oyster Rockefeller to die for. What a wonderful dinning experience.
