The food here was pretty tasty. The breaded zucchini was surprisingly good. Lightly brrwaded not greasy with just the right amount of cheese on top. My lunch was pretty good too. The service was very good . I will definitely try it out for dinner one evening.

Their Bloody Mary was on point at the bar while we waited for a table. Our waiter was attentive and brought little extras like scallions for my meal. The high end atmosphere matched the food. The only issue was that when we first arrived, we had our name added to the waiting list for a table. The staff knew we were waiting at the bar for a table. After 30 minutes, we noticed that customers that came in after us had been seated. The staff said that they had our name marked off the list. When asked why, there was NO response from the greeter. The live music was very good. They played popular variety songs instrumentally.

Smells like raw nasty sewage outside the restaurant completely lost any interest eating at this location. The one in Aiken is good AND it doesn't smell like a garbage dump.

I have been going here for years,but it is beginning to look aged. The menus have stains on them, the bathroom needs repairs, there is a slight mildew smell. Food Is ALWAYS excellent, staff is good too.

I'm sorry, it's not bad per say, but it just isn't good. Staff was friendly enough, but the food just isn't that good, and not just this visit. Went years ago, didn't like it, everyone told me to give it another try, and still the same.

There were plenty of open tables, yet we had to wait for a table. Once we were seated, we were promptly forgotten about. Not sure how this happened because we were a large party. We decided to dine elsewhere as the service wasn't there, no one approached us until we walking toward the door.

The meal was so-so. Pasta bolognese served without a spoon for swirling the spaghetti. The olive oil for dipping had no herbs. The waiter offered cracked pepper to go with the olive oil. Garlic bread was bland.Service was good. What put me off was the upholstery. The booth seats are worn out and dirty. Made my skin crawl to sit at one. Not going back!

The environment was nice and relaxed. I got the short rib rigatoni which was great except for the pasta which was undercooked. I ordered the creme brulee which was light and very playful, but they stayed in a few spots too long which gave a burnt bitter taste from time to time. To be on the positive side I'll say it was an off night for them.

Great place to take your time to eat and fellowship. We had a great waitress who recommended different menu items and had a great personality. Our food was big portions enough for another meal. The Italian Nachos are always great, get a half order if you're bot sharing because they are BIG.

Whether we are catering for medium-sized events or sitting down to lunch, Travinia's is a winner. Although the menu tends to be relatively pricey, the restaurant-served portions are large enough to split into two meals for the budget (and weight!) conscious. Arrive early and beat the lunch rush - they open around 11:30, and you'll be seated promptly with no wait.

Superb customer service! I ate here with a large party in the private dining room. We ordered the nachos, brussel sprouts, and calamari to share. The nachos were cold with very little cheese sauce. For my entree, I ordered the pasta mia nonna with chicken at this location. The dinner portion of pasta was much smaller than I'm accustomed to at the Northeast Columbia location. I truly appreciate the other location, because their dishes always come out piping hot with much larger portions for the price point amongst other small minute details.

Definitely a fun experience! Pasta Nachos are a fun way to start out with lots of wines in house. With a pleasant staff, and fresh food, it's worth a trip if you're in Columbia and want a nice relaxing night of Italian ambiance.

Called around 1230 to make a reservation for mine and my wife's anniversary and was told reservations can only be made for a party of 5 or more and a table for 2 shouldn't be a problem. So counting on that information we had grandparents come down from out of town to baby sit. So we go and are told it's a 45 minute wait. When I told the hostess I was told a 2 person table shouldn't be a problem being seated and was denied a reservation she replied that they couldn't possibly know what the night was going to be like.

We started with the Mozzarella Portabello Mushrooms and the Italian Nachos. I can't decide which I liked better. After that, I only wanted a salad for dinner so ordered the Granny Smith Apple salad. Delicious! I highly recommend Travinia.

Went there with friends on a Wednesday night and LOVED IT. There was live music playing and the artist had this 90's-soft-alternative thing going. We were seated near him and it was a smidge loud but not overpowering. The Italians Nachos were amazing. I'm not the biggest nacho fan, but I was happily munching away, bite after bite. I ordered the Shrimp Linguine Alla Vodka and my husband ordered the Pasta Mia Nonna. (photos below) Super tasty, hot, fresh. Even the bread was good. I highly recommend it . Tell your friends. I had been to Travinia's before and was not that enthused with the first experience. I always try any restaurant twice. So my bet is that if you try it, you'll like it. If you don't like it, try it again and like me, YOU WILL LOVE IT.

The food was great as always, but it seemed like maybe they were having issues with either the kitchen or wait staff (maybe understaffed). The restaurant was over half empty, but we still had a 20 minute wait for a table. Service was good when we were seated and no other issues other than the long wait for a table when there were plenty of open tables.

My experience at Travinia was great. I attended a birthday dinner for my niece, and as soon as I arrived, I was greeted and escorted to the party room. The waiter/waitresses were so pleasant and patient. I would recommend Travinia to anyone looking to host a dinner party.

Travinias is great! Last week we had a private party for a Mastermind Group in the wine room, the service was impeccable! They also catered a dinner party at our home for 32 people. They arrived on time, had everything needed - warmer trays, cutlery and plates, napkins, amazing food, and even bread! Think of them first next time you are considering an event!
