$40 for extremely lackluster sea bass, fettuccine Alfredo was very under seasoned. The best part of the meal was the kids pizzas. Beer selection was abysmal, didn’t have limes, had 2 kids there, they didn’t have crayons or anything for kids, when asking for just some plain paper, the server brought out one sheet and one pen for our two kids to share. Ambiance was not that great either.

My daughter and grandson took me to celebrate my 65th birthday. The hostess received us well and we were seated immediately. The rest of the service was horrible. The waiter never told us his name. When we told him that a fly had fallen in my grandson's drink, he asked if we wanted another one. He didn't tell us the specials until we noticed them on the board a distance from the table. Before he told us he said that they were all $40 each. I thought that was odd since specials are seldom more expensive than menu items. The salad and soup were ok, but the entrees were very good. When we asked the server to take our photo because it was my birthday, he never said Happy Birthday but he did take the photo. We found out the server's name, John, after we were given the check. He received about a third of what we would have tipped and a page and a half letter detailing what he did wrong. Because we were the only Black people in the restaurant I'm not sure if it was racism or just poor service. We won't be visiting again.

Went back to Toscana Italian Kitchen for dinner for the second time this month. I tried the seafood fra diavola tonight and it was a knockout punch, so terrific. The seafood comes in fresh daily and you can taste it. The service was friendly and accommodating. Also they have a great knowledge for and selection of wines. This restaurant stands above the rest in Myrtle beach and I can't wait to go back.

Left feeling disappointed with an unsatisfied stomach. Eggplant parm appetizer was bland (excessive cheese failed to cover up the pack of flavor), chicken piccata was so overpowered by lemons that was the only thing we could taste (so sour!), lastly the lobster ravioli. The lobster was actually pretty good but the ravioli was undercooked. Oh don’t even get me started on the Caesar salad. How do you mess up a Caesar salad at an Italian restaurant? Only reason I gave this a 2 star was because the service was good and the place was nice and comfortable. Was here on short getaway, but would not return to this restaurant.

It seems this restaurant moved to new location not long ago. Current place definitely does not seem rundown or sticky. It’s actually very nicely decorated and, despite the strip mall location, feels cozy enough for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. The place was full (I definitely recommend making a reservation as there is no waiting area) and I guess that might have caused a rather slow service. Our server (Vlad) was very nice and cheerful which definitely contributed to our positive experience. For some reason the other servers and an older lady walking around (proprietor?) seemed rather grumpy. Can’t speak for the authenticity of the food but I’ve heard other patrons had some positive comments. I ordered Chicken Marsala and it was good but not out of this world. I felt it could benefit from some fresh herbs and more seasoning. My husband had cheese pasta with fresh pear and he said it was almost like a dessert. But he ate it all nevertheless. :) Kid gobbled up his cheese pizza too. Bread was delicious, salad and other food tasted fresh, so overall we had a good time. They do have a kids menu ($6) that includes pizza and few simple pasta dishes. It doesn’t come with a drink, so beware of $3 soda. Main entrees I felt were priced adequately, considering they include soup or salad and this is a touristy area. Servings are very large, so you might want to split an entree (for a small fee) and get a dessert too.

We came here for our anniversary dinner expecting a nice, formal atmosphere as pictured, and got a hectic, bar-type atmosphere. Right when we got our food, a large party of sweaty, teenage baseball players got seated at the tables right next to us. The food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere could be better. We were expecting a nice anniversary dinner and got an overwhelming and exhausting environment there instead.

Tried to go here for dinner, family of 6 and it was 9:17pm and the owner and his staff said they WOULD NOT SERVE US because they did not know when someone would leave and they close at 10pm. We felt unwanted and will never recommend this place to ANYONE!!

A sure sign of a great restaurant is a full parking lot at 10:30 p.m. on a Wednesday night. Toscana Italian kitchen does notdisappoint. Possibly the best lobster ravioli I have ever had. The entree salads are beautiful, and the bread is soft, chewy, and piping hot from the oven. Attentive service in a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I was seated with my mom and children, but the host was not friendly at all. We waited at least 7 or 8 minutes before deciding to leave. No one came over to ask us for drink orders or if we had any questions about the menu. I've seen a better selection at less expensive restaurants. We decided to leave and not one word was spoken by the staff as we left the place. Too many options in Myrtle Beach to spend money where you don't feel welcomed.

Very nice. Small inside, but cozy. Food is very Italian authentic. My dish was made incorrectly (red sauce instead of white). The chef left the red dish on the table so I would be able to eat with my Family, while she made the correct sauce. Class act. Waitress was very friendly, and menu knowledgeable.

Our table of four adults had four different entrees. One reported the shrimp/scallops as the best meal she had ever had. Another had the Diavlo and reported it “outstanding”. The third one had a sausage dish that he said was great. I had chicken marsala and it was exquisite! The bread, dipping oil, and salad were fine accompaniments. The setting was warm, classy, and beautiful. Choose this restaurant for a wonderful meal!

Visited this restaurant Monday 2/18/19. The dining area was full so we opted to eat at the bar. Promptly after ordering, first out was a half loaf of hot, crispy italian bread, served with a light marinara sauce and shredded cheese. Next, our salads were crisp and fresh, gently tossed in a homemade Italian dressing. We ordered Chicken Marsala and Spaghetti w/Meatballs. The portions were generous, large enough for our dinner that night AND our next days lunch. The food was piping hot and delicious! Our server, Diana, was very hospitable. We were very impressed on our first visit and will definitely return. Five stars all the way!

On vacation and just picked this restaurant driving by. What a gem! We sat at the bar and had a nice conversation with the bartender who served us. We ate Alfredo fettuccine and spaghetti with baked meatballs and hot bread with olive oil and roasted peppers with seasonings. Excellent food! Nice atmosphere!! Excellent service!! Wish we could come back more often but will definitely visit again when in town.

Very Rude! Staff was Not friendly . I did not even order from this place because the staff was so rude! When we were seated by the hostes, he did not say anything but "here you go" thats all he said. We had a server walked passed our table, he didn't greet us so we got up and left. I rather spend my money somewhere better and with friendly staff!

Awesome!!! The interior of the place is very modern and trendy, and the food is fabulous and fresh. You can definitely tell everything is homemade and nothing frozen. The flavors were delicious, the presentation was exceptional, even my hot tea was accompanied by a sweet, thick honey on a side dish..... I was thoroughly impressed. My husband had the chicken saltimbocca which was delicious, I had manicotti, the salad dressing was prepared inhouse (you could tell), the minestrone soup tasted like someone's little grandma had been making it all day, the bread was hot and fresh out of the oven.... it was just delicious food! We also got oysters toscana.... which were amazing! Our server was very pleasant as well. We will definitely be back!

Best traditional Italian food I've had since moving south . Pasta was adente and the entire was made like I use to get in Brooklyn. Portion huge so recommend sharing. Atmosphere is a bit bright and more like a chain restaurant or sports bar. Waitress was new and a little slow but the food made up for the other shortcomings. For the price and location your not going to find better place.
