Today my family and I were to this restaurant for brunch. They opened at 11:00 am and we were there at 10:50 am waiting in front of their door.. it wasn't long before a couple of more vehicles pulled in with families for brunch as well.whe they opened we entered the palce and immediately had a whiff of a strong odor that smelled like a sour mop. The hostess seated us at the back in a booth across from the bar next to the bathrooms. The waitress came over to take our order and while she was standing there my grandson said " Grandma there's a bug crawling on the wall beside you". I looked up and sure enough there was a huge roach crawling up the wall beside my head and it took its time going up. The waitress just looked and said that she didn't know what to do. The hostess came over looked at it and my daughter asked if they had a swatter so she could kill it. The hostess said that she would get some guy , ( she called a name) to come take care of it. Well n and he came to do anything and the hostess Mr the waitress said anything else about the roach that was still crawling around. The waitress brought our beverage and it was awful. I told my daughter that I didn't want to order anything from here to eat and that we should leave. When my other grandson came back from the restroom I wanted to leave. My daughter agreed and went to pay for our drinks. We Will Not Be Going Back To The Bohemien Restaurant again for anything. When we left they didn't same concerned as to why we were leaving at all. Do Not Ear at this place.

We came to The Bohemian for the first time what must have been 10 years ago. After several years away we did come back a few weeks ago for dinner and I we did agree, not much changed. And don't get me wrong, that is not a bad thing. Food is still delicious as it has been a decade ago. Service was very attentive, only the kitchen was a little slow. Not a big deal in our case since we were not in a hurry. We will be back for sure, I hope it's not going to be another 10 years...

A favorite just outside of the bustle of Main Street. They make all third own dressings and everything is made fresh to order. I have yet to find something I haven't loved on the menu. It's a gem of Greenville. The menu has great variety for all dietary needs and preferences. The prices are reasonable and the portions are perfect, enough to share in some cases.

This place is suoer cute next to the record shop next door. They have pretty good lunch items and I have not had the dinner get but it looks really good, they serve duck etc. I have eaten here twice and been kinda let down due to quality. For my birthday I two meals (one curry and rice and one sandwich with chips) to go and it was $32.00.... Not only the price but the curry I got was less than half a cup and super watery with barely any rice and it got all over the plastic to go box. You could say I was pretty let down. They have really good cakes though so thats something I recommend. I just dont think I will be coming back for food soon.

Family owned, freshly cooked and freshly baked inexpensive signature dishes that include a "catch of the day" fresh fish selection. Wine list, 2 bars, connected to the Horizon record store. Great for small business meetings, first dates, or just to have a relaxing drink after work. Low lighting.

I have been to The Bohemian many times and I never stray from the one thing I always go for: El Cubano! By far the best Cuban sandwich I have ever eaten. I wouldve posted a picture but I ate it too fast. Also, go for Brunch on Sundays. You won't regret it.

This is a great place to eat. The atmosphere is relaxed and has a great vibe. I've always gone on the weekends for bunch, but today they just had a lunch menu. I wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious. We ordered some house made pimento and chips, a Monte Cristo sandwich, and a New York Ruben. Our server was friendly and attentive and our food was served promptly, hot and fresh. Already looking forward to my next trip.

I had good food and a good experience both times I came here (once for dinner and once for brunch). Friendly staff and super fresh tasting food that felt homemade. The bloody mary bar was pretty great and reasonably priced. Some food options are a little pricey, but there are also some affordable options. There is a nice outdoor patio which isn't very big, but an enjoyable spot if you can land a seat there.

The jalapeño pimento sandwich is so yummy. Fun atmosphere with a record store attached the dining area. The food can take a while to get to your table though. The staff is typically really nice, and they try to make sure you are satisfied.

Bloody Mary Bar at brunch is great, but bring and ice filled glass with a small amount of vodka. Looks like more with ice, which has begun to melt by time you get glass they are so busy. The selections at the bar are AMAZING! Really top notch and varied. But... Set up in way to small of an area, people were literally knocking things over it was so crammed and it is located at a tight turn spot of restaurant so there is not really any where to stand in line while you wait your turn. Only one person can pass through at a time. So people waiting essentially play dodge the patrons and servers. I spent years in food & beverage in Charleston. The Bohemian needs to take a cue from the South's brunch capital. Bring glass with vodka only, have bar set up at a table, on both sides, people can come through either direction and have a container of ice with scoop so drink is not watered down before you start. A lot of people prefer "lite ice" when I tended bar for that very reason. It's a small restaurant with good food, but staff is not trained to handle a full capacity seating precisely at 11 as a line forms early. Managers and servers alike were running like crazy, all tables around us, and ours were getting food mixed up and bills mixed up. Decide what you want to be, the eclectic, little eatery with great food and good concept of bloody bar or figure out how the big boys pull it off smoothly in even smaller sites and do it really well. Suggestion, make the change to the bloody bar, centralize it, require reservations at opening and stagger seating at no mote than 4-6 tables every 15 minutes until capacity is reached. That way staff front and back of house can accommodate flow of guests effectively and efficiently. The place will be packed in under an hour and each table will be able to get you at your best than every seat filled in 10 minutes and every employee is flailing about. You'll make more money (no less than 5 items were comped due to mix ups and delays at our and table surrounding) and people will leave full and happy instead of frustrated.

I’ve now been here for both brunch and dinner, and I cannot emphasize how much you HAVE to eat/drink here. The atmosphere is super chill and friendly, the staff are awesome (resulting in great service, too), the food is AMAZING, and there’s a record store attached so you can browse some funky music. The best part (to me) is how great the veggie-friendly food is. I got the Moroccan-style tofu at my most recent visit, and it was so good that it prompted me to write this review.

Interesting restaurant located next to a Record store... Hold your breath, yes, some of them still do exist! I had a soup and half sandwich.. Their creamy tomato basil soup was really nice and left me wanting more. It was chunky and had great texture which made the soup more filling. They claimed that their jalapeno pimento cheese sandwich is the best, and a friend recommended it highly apart from their menu claiming that people come from miles around to get their fix of this sandwich, so I had that ( without bacon, as I'm a vegetarian), in rye bread. The sandwich was excellent, the half sandwich was huge and came was a slice of pickle and side of homemade potato chips. This made a very filling lunch. Highly recommended, although they have very few vegetarian options. Now, back to record store.. They had old LP records of bands like Abba and others from that age and even older. It seemed like a collector's store. A must visit if you collect old songs and Records and are in Greenville, SC.

A local gem in the North Main are of Greenville. I really want to give a lower review so fewer people know about this place but it's just too good. The menu offers delicious international options, vegetarian and vegan options, and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. I had the curry most recently which is wonderful.

My friend and i had Valentine's Night dinner right after yoga class which is right across the parking lot and we had an amazing experience. Our waitress ( Gosh i can't remember her name) was beyond helpful and patient. She was great at giving recommendations and everything we chose was right on the money! We enjoyed the thai shrimp, Salmon salad (heaven on your taste buds) and the bruschetta (i cant stop thinking about it!!!!) The feta cheese was the best ive ever tasted.. I loved this place so much that I am going again with some coworkers this weekend. So to wrap up this review I will end by saying you will love yourself for choosing this place. Enjoy!!

My husband and I tried The Bohemian for the first time for lunch. We were easily able to order vegetarian options (and there are vegan options as well). Be sure to make room for their sweet potato fries! Our server, Cathy, was extremely low-key and helpful. Our only disappointment was that we didn't try this place sooner!

I will say the service has been a little slow the few times I have been and the food takes a little while to come out, but I like to think that’s because they’re making it fresh so of course it takes longer. The burger is delicious!! They also have really good iced tea....I drink water 99.9% of the time but will order an iced tea here!

Tiny Salmon. I have eaten at the Bohemian several times over many years. Every meal has been delicious. I recommend the place. Last night however, I had a salmon (er minnow) dinner with the tiniest piece of salmon I have ever seen served. It was about 1 1/4 inch wide and 5 inches long, served with a scoop of rice and pile of cucumbers for $19. What little was there tasted great. Also had a blueberry basil margarita served in a tumbler glass that was marginal at best. Maybe the regular crew was on summer break.

This is a great spot. I appreciate the style of their menu and I love their salmon. They have a unique coconut curry and I've never had anything like it anywhere else. It's not a traditional curry but its tasty nonetheless.

Lots of great options. Caprese Salad is an excellent start. Curries are excellent and recently had the Hangar Steak prepared Mediterranean style. Even the table bread was excellent... warm pita bread with hummus and cucumbers.

Just got back from their. Had the special "Muscles" when the can half were not open. So they were dead when cooked. They offered to cook them more to open them. Obviously did not know what there were doing. Other food was poor, "Freshly made" duck spring rolls obvious came from the freezer. Customer service poor offered to pay for the half of the muscles that didn't open. Only time before they poison someone.

What a great time the North Main Community Association had at the Bohemian today. It was cold and rainy outside, but warm and friendly inside. The food was great, a wide selection of beers and wines and the service was exceptional. The owners and staff went all out to make our social a very successful event and the price was very reasonable. It could not have been better. Thank you, Bohemian! What a treasure for our neighborhood.
