Called ahead to make sure they had room for 6. The lady on the phone assured me they did and took my name. Got there literally 3 minutes later as we were at the copper pub a mile down the road. We get there and a new lady tells us they have no room and that it didn’t matter that we called and talked to someone. Very rude service.

I am rating one star only because I can't give it zero. Only come here if you like overpaying for burned food and then having the juvenile-acting manager, Chris, try to make it your fault. The owner of the restaurant should tell Chris to grow up or remove him from dealing with the public. Please save your money and time and go half a block up the road to Copper, or 5 miles up the road to Hickory Tavern, for a better sports bar.

I've been coming here for years now, and have not once been disappointed. Good burgers, pizza, beer selection. Heck, even the salads are good! Too bad the Loaded Sidewinders are no longer on the menu, even though that's probably a good thing for my health.

Been twice. It's nothing fancy, prices are fair, and decent pub food. We enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere. Generally a crowd, but not overly crowded and no wait to get in. Service was attentive.

Absolutely the worst food I've had in a long time. I started out with some seared tuna that was cooked incorrectly, then I had a burger which was obviously frozen and way over cooked and then we decided to try the fried pickles..... Oh god forbid anyone order those. The fried pickles had no texture and it was like pouring the salt shaker straight into my mouth. My waitress was terrible, she didn't check on us not one time and let me sit with an empty drink for at least 30 minutes and blantantly avoided engaging with us. Her name is Cayla. My beer was room temp and the tea is like syrup. The only good thing about this bar is the atmosphere.

SweetWater is fantastic. The menu is simple, not super complicated. The best part about that is you ALWAYS get a fantastic plate that never disappoints. If you have a favorite, it's always as good as the last time. I love consistency and they always provide it. Beer selection rotates and you're guaranteed to find some wicked high alcohol content beer, plus all the regular favorites. Local beers are already on tap, with a few rotating East Coast specialties. Service is always awesome, always friendly, and super quick. I enjoy the hell out of SweetWater, I promise you will too! -Cheers!!!

My husband and I really like the food. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. It is family friendly as well. On Wednesday's you can play BINGO (with the kids too) and win prizes. They have high "boy" tables along with low "boy" tables. Or, you can sit outside under the canopy. If you get hungry in Lake Wylie, I highly suggest you try Sweetwater. You won't regret it.

Asked for gluten free bun, then when they didn't give us the right one. They took the burger away and bought back another one, saying they had remade the whole thing. When my wife looked at the burger there was a bite that she has taken out of the 1st burger. Very dangerous to do to someone with a gluten allergy. Luck my wife caught it or we could have been in the ER. Oh buy the way they still charged us for the burger as well. BEWARE!

If you want a variety of food, then this is your place! The wait staff is the best and very attentive! If you like nachos, then order them. You won't be disappointed. If you like Shrimp and Grits, this is the place! But, make sure to go early. They get very busy in the evenings. Their prices are very reasonable, considering the amount of food you get!

I ordered a gluten free create your own burger. When I received the burger I took a bite then realized that the bun looked exactly like my sons that was not ordered gluten free. I immediately called our waitress over and reminded her I had ordered mine gluten free. She knew that was not a gluten free bun and took it back to the kitchen. About 10 minutes passed and they brought out a burger with the right bun. The person that brought it said "we made a whole new one for you". I looked at it and you could see a bite was taken out of it. Unless the kitchen is taste testing burgers that was the bite I took before they took it back. So end result I would not trust them on gluten free. Thankfully I do not have celiac, I am sensitive to gluten though. They never officially apologized and charged me full price for my burger.

I arrived at the Sweetwater Sports Bar and Grill with a coworker at about 6 p.m. on a Saturday towards the end of September. There was no wait at that time but the place was starting to get busy. We were waited on right away and we found our waitress to be fast, efficient, and friendly. I ordered the Sweet Baby Ray's hamburger done medium well and it came out a little pink on the inside. I'm a little paranoid about mad cow disease in ground beef but that didn't concern me too much because I know they use high-quality Angus beef there, and the hamburger was delicious. I'm an IPA fan so I had a Wicked Weed Pernicious IPA in a bottle, then had a pint of River Rat Astronaut IPA on tap. They were both delicious in my opinion. My coworker ordered the 10 buffalo wings and could only finish half of them because they were gigantic. He also had ordered the Queso blanco chips prior to having dinner so that might have had something to do with it. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend trying this Sports Bar.

LOOVEE this place! best food around for the price and the atmosphere is always fun and upbeat. They can get busy which might mean a wait or you having to park in a neighboring lot, but everything else is fantastic. The servers are always staffed to the amount to service everyone and the bar tenders are on point. There's always a different game being played and they have great specials different days of the week. We eat in and order to go because we love it that much.

Gross place Ok where do I start went there last night sat at the bar it was a long wait here is what happened. Finally after 20 minutes we got a drink ordered food and it came out cold then *( this is disgusting) I noticed 2 girls working there at the end of the bar they were taking silverware out of metal jars and wrapping them un napkins with tape around them to give out with your. Dinner however they were grabbing the knifes and forks by the head of them touching the parts with their hands that we eat with I said something to them and they laughed .. who knows where those fingers were before I will never go there again. And reported them save your money .. it's sad such a nice place. But have no thought of cleanliness

Always a great spot! Never had a meal I didn’t enjoy, and they have an ever changing beer list with some good off the wall beers every now and then, and good local options—for a 20-tsp joint, the beer list is surprisingly well rounded and enticing. Love the loaded bbq sidewinders (get them in place of fries for your side item!) and the wings and BLT sandwich.
