I love this place. My first time going two nights ago. I was thoroughly impressed by the lady serving us, very knowledgeable and friendly, awesome positive vibe. The food was great, love everything we ate especially the HAM. Drinks were amazing, best Aperol Spritz I’ve had and I have tried Aperol Spritz from Grill 225, High Cotton, Hooked Seafood, Burwell, Peninsula Grill locally and some other places in Columbia, Asheville, and Knoxville. Needless to say, I will be back! My new go to spot :)

Fun wine bar! They had a varying menu and when we went they had some guest chefs from another local business. The atmosphere was good natured and the servers were very informative. A very nice place for a fun night out.

Chic little place downtown. Shared a beer, wine, one of the ciders and the ham. Both were delectable ! The ham was aged for three years, very tender and just perfect overall; it paired well with our beverages.

Great place to relax with wine, cheese and other nibblies. Nice wine selection of white, red and more by the glass. They also have a beer and cocktails. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere which adds to Park Central restaurant and bar scene, opened late till 2am.

This is one of my all time favorite places in the world. The atmosphere is amaxing calming and may I say soulful. Just the right amount of class and chill. The knowledge of the staff is outstandin. They have a love for thier wines, spirits, and food. Thier products are complex but easygoing they customer service is out of this world. They always remember me and my husbands name they welcome us like family every time we enter the door. Thank you for always making anytime we come in a night to remember. I highly recommend this place!

Stems & Skins is special: Spain in N Charleston. Seriously. Wine-focused tapas bar with some terrific and reasonable wines by the glass and even better ones by the bottle. (We will return for cocktails. Couldn’t do it all at first pass, sadly.) Very knowledgeable, friendly staff with Angie and her husband as experienced owners and purveyors with impeccable taste. (They lived in San Fran to learn the business and operated a successful bar in Ravenel for years before investing in Park Circle, Chs. And their move is Charleston’s gain.) Standout was beautiful Iberico ham shaved off the bone for charcuterie—ordered twice.

I cannot say enough good things about S+S. The staff are a wealth of knowledge, but are never condescending for my lack of knowledge. Very welcoming. Feels like family. Excellent wine selection (other restaurants in Charleston have referred me to them) and folks who can point you in the right direction based on preferences or help you step out of your comfort zone to try new things. Food items on the menu are delicious too. Two of my favorites are the ricotta + fermented honey and the octopus. Helps that it is walking distance, but definitely worth a drive from wherever you may be.

Come, man... Why you gotta even ask... The som from Husk and Justin Croxall from Aurox Wines combine forces to create a wine baby? What? The vibe makes the wine taste better and their wine selections are not like other places in town. Urbitarte Cider from the Basque country, porrons of Txakoli, nerd wines galore. Pretty cool. I leave here feeling like I learned something. The food is very well designed to accompany their nerd wines, too. Nerd Wines. Maybe that should be a new section at the wine store? Check these guys out. They play vinyl records. Weather Report, Meters, etc. Enjoy. Prost!
