Shrimp and Grits to die for (and I would take a serious wounding for the Grilled Salmon salad)! I don't normally get excited about food but this dining experience was exceptional. Robust spicing in the sauce that included shrimp even before getting to the generous portion of firm but juicy shrimp. From the ambiance and decor to the waitstaff and food(!) everything was exceptional and reasonably priced. If there were a 1/2 star award I'd give it 4 1/2 only for having a small water closet facility off the main dining room. I will definitely be back and recommend others try it out.

Michelle Meteraud

Our server Adam was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great service and food was fantastic. Best piece of fish I've had out in a long time. Ambiance was great as well. Definitely recommend.

John Gasparini

Perfect ambience, exquisite food, and excellent service. Shrimp and grits unrivalled in the world, excellent other seafood options, and delicious drinks. What's not to love?

nefleischmann

Had a fantastic dinner here for Charleston Restaurant Week. Our server, Paul, was excellent. He was very attentive and personable. The food was great and the serving size was perfect. We will definitely be returning.

Kristen Cavalieri

I had the salmon salad for lunch and it was one of the best I have ever had. Great location, food, ambiance. I highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Charleston.

Lawrence Sanchez

Great staff awesome food , good price.

John Carpenter

This is by far our favorite Charleston restaurant. Elegant dining experience that is consistent from visit to visit. 15 years and counting, and never disappointed.

Vicki Wingate

Great food, very nice atmosphere!!

lynn moore

The food was amazing! Wine and drinks were great. Server was a bit condescending and not very attentive. What could have been an amazing experience was diminished by our server's attitude.

Kelly A. Calhoun

Great vibe, came here with friends for my Birthday! The chefs are incredible and so is their artistry - true professionals at work in a foodies haven. Sweet and friendly staff. Fantastic wine and drink menu as well. I try to make a visit here each time that I come to Charleston - which is a lot! :)

We got right in at 1pm on a busy Saturday July 6th day. SNOB is a comfortable dining experience. I had the quail, my wife had the fried chicken and waffles and my children all had the burgers. All our food was delicious. The manager overhead me asking one of the servers the question "if there was only one historical house in Charleston that you would go to which one would you choose?". The manager stopped by our table and told us about the Aiken-Rhett House which turned out to be a great stop on our one day in Charleston trip.

Joey Dobbertin

Great service and great food. The (manager?) brought us some fresh strawberries for our little one to munch on while we looking through the menu. Highly recommend.

YUQI WU

I took my grandma there on a 1-day trip and it was fantastic experience. Enjoyed the vibe and food.

Leo Bentley

We have eaten here several times each visit to Charleston. Words cannot do justice to the delightful dishes served up at S N O B, as it is called by the folks in Charleston. The service is attentive, yet un-rushed, which makes this a perfect atmosphere for enjoying every bite. My sister was thrilled by my present to her of the SNOB cook book so she could try out a few of the dishes back in Oregon. This is a must stop if you plan on visiting Charleston.

Delceno Miles

Great atmosphere and gracious staff. My steak had too much fat. The butter bean soup was delicious. Parking is challenging in Downtown Charleston.

Lisa Worrall

I love this place! The decor is on point for Charleston and food is good but a bit pricey! I was just passing thru town bit couldn't resist trying the shrimp and grits!! Great and veggie plate is awesome too. Roasted veggies of every kind on one plate- genius!

Chris Short

Absolutely fantastic! Great food, fun staff, good wine list, historic neighborhood - great way to spend a long lunch!

Gary Mid

Nice atmosphere, great service. The swordfish was phenomenal.

Stuart Carlton

We got into town late in the afternoon and showing up without reservations were pleased to be told there was available seating at the chef’s table which overlooks the kitchen. As foodies we love getting a peek at what’s happening in the back. The service was good, though our server would disappear for long stretches of time. The food was truly exceptional though and it was fun to watch it being made. We’ll definately return to S.N.O.B. the next time we visit Charleston.

caymanbyoung

Paul provided exceptional service, LOVE the floor plan with the open kitchen, the cocktails are excellent, and the food as well! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Cathy Wright

Great food, good service. Overpriced for what you get. Not sure why it's rated so high.

Michael Johnson

Top notch dinner! Always go every time we cost Charleston

Rosie Estes

Paul was an amazing server! He had great conversation and gave us some really good recommendations! We definitely will be back and we highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Delicious!

Timmay Yammit

Food was delicious but rather heavy. Best shrimp and grits I've ever had! Cocktails were great too!

Monica

Phenomenal food. Everyone loved every bite of their food. I got the grilled salmon salad which had that wonderful mix of cold salad and warm fish. Some people at my table got burgers. They are dangerously delicious but also really big. Be ready to bring some home if you don't eat a lot.

Andrea Caruso

Shrimp and grits the must have. Southern good with a twist of modern. Tables way too crowded for fine dining

Nancy Ryan

Food was delicious and presented well. Service was also very good. The interior was quite dark making it difficult to read the menu. A little noisy due to high ceilings. Overall a recommended spot.

Jimmy Holiday

You have to try this place. Best shrimp n grits ever. Impeccable service.

Alex Szebrak

Great food. Wonderfull service and enjoyable environment setting. Definitely worth at least one visit

Laurie Tollman

This is Fine dining on Lowcountry Southern favorites. I had the BBQ Shrimp, Butternut squash bisque, roasted cauliflower, and my husband had a pear salad along with the Shrimp and Grits from their gluten free menu. We were more than pleased with everything.

Dawn Wagner

Brunch was amazing! We tried the cinnamon bun, avocado toast, French toast, and ham and cheese crepe. Everything tasted fresh and has unique tastes. Definitely will be back!

Niki Thomas

I’ve lived in Charleston for 9 years and somehow never made it to SNOB, until last night. I’ve only ever heard good things and have always wanted to try it but you know how Charleston is, there are SO many new and exciting restaurants to try so your options get overwhelming. Finally, my husband and I made a reservation for last night and tried out one of the top rated restaurants in Charleston. We were super excited. I’m so bummed to say that we were not impressed. The service was excellent but the food was underwhelming. We started out with the charcuterie, and it was good but not great. My husband had the rack of lamb and I had the duck breast. Both felt very lack luster and under-seasoned. The green beans on my husband’s plate had little to no seasoning. The Sazerac was a touch too sweet and the Bees Knees was a hair too spicy. For being as pricey as it is, nothing seemed spot on or spectacular, aside from the service. There are so many top notch restaurants in Charleston to spend your hard earned money, and our experience last night was not top notch.

Tim Connor

Slightly upscale feeling, but noisy crowd at the bar. Upscale prices. Food was delicious. Service was 4 star. It was busy when we got there at 9pm but they accommodated us quickly with a table for two. Best make reservations.

Harrison Montevideo

Outstanding steak, service, and style. Slightly North of Broad, or S.N.O.B as we like to call it is a fantastic high end restaurant. The lighting details, decoration, and every little detail of the place provides for an elegant southern high end aesthetic that perfectly matches the food served. We never had too long of a wait for anything and I can say it was by far the best steak I’ve had. Most memorable place I went to in Charleston.

Tomeka Martin

SNOB went beyond my expectations! I've eaten shrimp and grits in some other Charleston restaurants, but these were the best! The sauteed kale was a great compliment to my entree as well. My husband raved over the tenderness of his steak. He's never eaten feta, but today he ate it and liked it! What blessed us the most was the kindness of those who served, including the manager. My husband and I felt welcomed and were treated with great respect. I would suggest you go during the day if you like a light quiet crowd. Feel free to put on something pretty/handsome and enjoy the waterfront afterwards. Thanks Slightly North! What a great way to end a lovely vacation!

Banky Wafford

It was paired with some tomatoes but no real sides, so I ordered some Brussels sprouts which were also a large portion and very good, although I would have liked slightly more char. I also had a delightful cocktail that was made with lemonade, honeysuckle liquor, and blueberries. Even though I was stuffed I still managed to order dessert, which was a corn bread pudding off the specials for the night. It was something I've never had before

vincent leone

A truly excellent experience and food service . The appetizers where great and the shrimps and grits are killer .Sitting in the streets of Charleston and eating a staple dish says it all . Thank you Charleston I will see you again .

Lionel Sanchez

My #1 restaurant after staying in Charleston for almost a week. You're greeted with the most pleasant staff and delicious corn bread. We had the Southern Medley, French Toast, Pecan Sticky Bun, and Grits. The Southern Medley has some of the best vegetables and chicken I've ever had. The sweet dishes were perfect. Sweet Tea was also the best I had in the area. Nothing was short of amazing!

Tracy Morrison

I can honestly say that the shrimp and grits is one of the best meal I've ever had,..no lie! Trevor the bartender is the very best!!

Dianne Owens

Great food and wonderful prices. Parking is very limited so use the parking about a block away. The dress is business causal and the people are very nice.

Susan Ware

A must whenever in Charleston! You will not be disappointed! Excellent food with excellent service. The perfect place to relax, stay awhile, and absorb the local flavors.

Joni Paranka

Everything was excellent. The ambiance is nice with a noise level that isn't deafening - actually possible to have a conversation! Our wait person gave us just the right amount of attention (I hate it when they hover too much!) and she had excellent recommendations. We ordered the caramelized pear salad, Shrimp & Grits, and BBQ Tuna. Everything was cooked to perfection & washed down with the tastiest Manhattan I've ever had! So glad we ate here.

Daniel Moore

Great service in an amazing atmosphere. We were between serving lunch and dinner, but they have a limited menu that was still wonderful. Everyone recommended that we eat here, and we hope to squeeze in a reservation while we are here!

Colby Whittaker

An excellent experience. Great playlist, delicious entrees and our waitress Elizabeth was fantastic. Had a slight confusion on a vegetarian side and staff went over and above making it right.

Paul Martin

Wow. All I had was the Apple pie but damn was that good. Pricey, but it looks like it's worth it. Our server was amazing.

Richard Costa

What many places in Charleston are supposed to be, SNOB is. Excellent food and libations along with a wonderful service staff make SNOB a treat. The quail and the duck are both lovely.

Jayson Drury

Unbelievable food, drinks and service. Truely one of the best restaurants in the country in my opinion

Richard Schaffer

Really enjoyed the house made corned beef Reuben! Also, the cornbread came out piping hot and fresh. Nice meal.

Ken Simon

Excellent service along with tremendous menu make the restaurant five plus.

Janet Wright

We did not have reservations but were able to fall into a table for two in the front near the bar. We started with the BBQ shrimp which was absolutely delicious and a perfect size for two to share. For entrees, we had the swordfish and the special barrelfish. While both were good, the barrelfish was spectacular- so much flavor. We are anxious to return on our next trip to Charleston.

Travis Schultz

Everyone loved every bite of their food I will be returning!

J Wayne Collingsworth

Enjoyable experience. Polite and knowledgeable staff. The dining room was not loud and "buzzy", as some of the newer concepts are. Good background music (Motown) at an unobtrusive volume. The menu has good offerings of varied meat and seafood dishes at an agreeable price.

Mike Ladd

Excellent food. Server could have spent a little more time explaining specials and such. The two top table by the bar and kitchen is a bit high traffic to have a nice conversation. Every person seated and every server has to walk by it.

Colby Shomaker

Very good dinner, steak was cooked perfect. Other party member said the triggerfish special was outstanding. I enjoyed the Brussels sprouts as a side and the chocolate dessert was delicious. Highly recommend.

John Briggs

Very good dining experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun and the menu is interesting. Crab soup and local mozzarella are culinary taste sensations. Followed that with the wreckfish and asparagus, which was cooked perfectly and well balanced flavor combination. Will definitely visit again upon our return to Charleston.

Bob Corder

Most awesome lunch could not have asked for better

Kyle Jackson

Visiting Charleston for work this week, and a colleague that had previously visited Charleston said that this was a “must have” for dinner. She wasn’t kidding! I’m an old fashioned fan, and their Barn Raiser was delicious. For a little appetizer before meal ... opted for the grilled peach salad with goat cheese and candies pecans. It was difficult choice between this or the SNOB version of she crab soup ... I’ll have to visit again to try that. :-) The salad was perfect mix of sweet and savory, and the warm cornbread accompaniment was perfect touch! For the main course, my colleague had recommended the shrimp and grits as “to die for”, but trying to stay a bit more on the healthy side I opted for the halibut. It was as divine as the salad with a phenomenal mix of bok chit, shiitake mushrooms and a butter sauce which probably made it less healthy than i planned, but zero regrets! All in all, this was a great dining experience!

Hailey Ratner

The food is excellent and the presentation is even better! All the staff thank you for coming and are attentive to your needs. It is a bit dressy. I would suggest a blouse, or button down with nice pants. They weren't too busy for lunch so it was easy to just walk in an be seated. The little table arrangements were especially sweet

Natalia C

AMAZING SERVICE & FOOD. The Shrimp & Grits was featured on Diners, Drive ins and Dives and it was so so good. Southern hospitality at its finest.

Neha Bansal

We found this place through Thrillist and Eater lists, and we were quite excited to try the place during our visit to Charleston. From the outside, it looks like any other regular restaurant/shop, but I was pleasantly surprised with the interior as soon as I entered. The rustic interior instantly reminds you that you are in southern countryside, and the cozy feel of the place on a rainy day made my experience even more enjoyable. We made a reservation ahead of time, so we were able to get a table. Otherwise, it may have been difficult since the restaurant was full. Our server was really sweet, helpful and a vegetarian (just like me!), so she was able to recommend the perfect dish for me. I ended up ordering local mozzarella cheese for appetizer and southern medley without the chicked for entree. They started us off with the warmest, softest and the best cornbread I ever had, which we inhaled right away. The appetizer had "charred eggplant" which was more like baba ganoush rather than chunks of charred eggplant, but our server warned us in advance. Do not miss this dish if you have ever loved mozzarella. I absolutely loved the entree too. The rich taste of goat cheese croutons were perfectly balanced by grilled vegetables in pesto. With this dish, I took my time to savor the flavor...and also because I was getting full, BUT I finished every last bit! This place is of course a haven for meat lovers, but also a great place for vegetarians. It exceeded my expectations and I would love to visit again next time I am in Charleston.

Maxim Tyutyunnikov

Amazing place! Great food, service, atmosphere. My date had a rack of ribs and I got shrimp and grits. Both were outstanding. Clams that we had as an appetizer, were so delicious, we wished we had more! Unfortunately, we had no room for deserts

Josh Van Hoose

One of the best meals I've had.

Steve Garrett

Stopped for lunch and what a great surprise. The food was excellent as well as the service. I had the special of fried catfish with collards and grits, my wife had a burger slaw and a strawberry sangria. Couldn't complain about anything it was prepared perfectly. Definitely going to eat here again.

Arnold Moore

Great restaurant for lunch. A little too cramped and busy for me but definitely had character. I really enjoyed the Southern Medley. I would order it with no salt next time. The medley was a little too gritty but still delicious. The staff was warm and welcoming. Same management as Halls Chophouse and High Cotton.

Roger Walk Jr.

We had lunch here. We had great service and great options for lunch.

JTB B

Had another excellent meal. The Mahi Mahi special was great.

Sethu k Manickavel

Loved the Shrimp and grits. The quail was really good. Friendly service. Everything we got was tasty. Gets busy but fast service, people kept moving in and out. Slightly on the higher end. As the waiter explained most ingredients sounded locally sourced.

Barry Marks

Probably the best catfish and grits I’ve ever eaten. Greens to die for. And if anything goes sideways, staff and management fixes it like yesterday, fawning over you until you hush with satisfaction. No kidding. Eat here.

Dina West

So delicious! Love the atmosphere, service and food. The shrimp & grits and rack of lamb were out of this world. Cannot recommend this place enough. Definitely suggest making a reservation if you're trying to eat here on the weekend. Very busy place. But that's just proving how tasty the food is.

Stephen Hunt

Great menu. Wonderful staff. The shrimp and grits were delicious.

Kimberly Lee

Pretty good food . A little overpriced for what we ate. The shrimp & grits were very good but very spicy. Maybe the waiter could have warned me. Lol . The pear salad was very tasty. The vegetable plate was also very good except for the broccoli, it was saturated in oil or grease . I couldn’t eat the broccoli.

Mark Garrison

Slightly North of Broad. We had lunch there and it was very tasty. I had the shrimp and grits (what they are known for) and my mother had the chicken and veggie plate. The atmosphere was quaint. We sat near the back facing the kitchen. The staff was working very diligently to make sure all the meals were made with pride. I was very surprised at the quality of service and food as this was not on my top list of restaurants to visit, but I'm very happy we stopped in for lunch.

anna sheffield

Delicious, rich brunch, and yummy cornbread! Nice atmosphere as well.

Rachel Counts

Its not a great deal of food for the money. I got a relatively simple liver and grits. It was $14. Apple pie was $10. The flavors weren't noticeably excellent for that price. A bit bland.

Justin MacMahan

This place is delicious. Great ambiance and good service. You'll probably need to make a reservation unless you go in the middle of the week. My recommendation would be going on a weekday for lunch, as the dinner menu is nearly double the price for the same things. I would take a star off for that, but it's pretty typical for restaurants to do it. And they deserve 5 stars for everything I've ordered there being delicious. They used to have one cocktail we didn't like, but they took it off the menu, so you're pretty much safe to order any drink and it will be good.

Timothy Frederick

A truly delightful dining experience and warm welcome to Charleston. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. The service was excellent. The food was better than great. Truly amazing and talented culinarians.

Daven Johnson

Excellent service and excellent food!

Daniella M

This is a wonderful restaurant. The ambience was nice, not too loud. I love how the kitchen is open to the dining area. The quality of the food was excellent. We got the grilled salmon salad and the trout entree. The service was top notch. The staff was very attentive to our needs, and it was obvious they really put effort to ensure we had a great experience. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Rob Alvarez

Phenomenal food and incredible service this restaurant is a MUST if you are in Charleston because you don't want to miss the opportunity to have a meal of a lifetime "I'm serious" everything was spectacular! I had the tuna steak and my wife had the shrimp & grits "both were recommended" and absolutely delicious

Charles Newcomer

Fantastic menu - excellent wine list and outstanding service..

Gaye Corbin

Delicious. House smoked salmon, sweet potato tamales, BBQ tuna, rack of lamb!! Peter runs a well oiled machine. Server Jeffv was knowledgeable and efficient. Ambiance was great. A new favorite.

Daniel R

Best fried chicken liver over grits I have ever eaten!

Adam Drutz

Had the best time ever!!!! The service was fantastic! The food was phenomenal!!! So glad we had the chance to go!

Jon Lock

The service was second to none, they even accommodated us without a reservation on Christmas night. The food was VERY good, but not particularly outstanding or exceptional. I can guarantee you will have a wonderful experience here, it's a must try if you're in Charleston

Teresa Whis

Great food. Want a nice lunch special when down town, try any of their lunch expresses. The cater to those with food allergies. Great staff! Reservations recommend.

Adina Hicks

The food and the service were exceptional! Plan ahead and reserve a table if you want to be seated in the restaurant, otherwise you can be seated in the bar. Pricey, but worth every penny!

Paul Leonardo

Excellent food, excellent service.

Cindy G

Busy restaurant with good reputation. Our meatloaf and broccolini were very oversalted.

Andrew Kropinski

Upon arriving in downtown Charleston at (1 pm) we immediately started to look for a restaurant for lunch. While walking up East Bay Street we passed a number of restaurants which didn’t appear busy. Fortunately my wife spotted a crowd at Slightly North of Broad (SNOB) and indeed, on entering, it was packed with happy patrons, enjoying excellent food in fun surroundings. We were rapidly served warm, tastey, cornbread, while we perused the menu. We chose the jumbo lump crab cake, and the grilled salmon salads. They were truly delicious. It was a delight to find a restaurant where the chefs clearly know how to cook salmon properly.

ron m

We recently went to this restaurant to celebrate a five year cancer free anniversary. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was excellent. Most importantly, the staff were friendly and accommodating and made an extra effort to make the day special. Many thanks to all who helped create a wonderful memory for us.

Carol Goedecke

Good food Good service Expensive for portions

Gary Miller

Now I know why Charleston is known worldwide for its fine food. I think this was one of the best meals of my life. My waiter Jeff suggested the BBQ Tuna and I’m so glad he did. My wife had the signature dish Shrimp and Grits and loved it! This restaurant exceeded my expectations and I had read many reviews online before eating here. The staff was very professional, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was charming. I loved the name (S.N.O.B) Slightly North Of Broad and I wanted to check it out. The place lived up to the hype and will be a definite stop of mine if I ever come back to Charleston.

Mjolnier Odinson

What a fantastic meal and dining experience. I never would have thought a swordfish BLT tastes so amazing, but they make it happen. Marcia, our server, was a wealth of knowledge on the menu as well as the local area.

Star Sosa

Express lunch is a great deal. Delightful environment, delicious food. Best butternut squash soup ever. Hot cornbread. Loved it. Go early for lunch or there will be a line.

Ron Eshleman

Wow. This dinner was absolutely delicious. The Shrimp and Grits were nothing like I have had before. Such fantastic flavors! The asparagus side was so fresh and full of flavor. And the blackberry cobbler to finish it off was equally wonderful. Simply put—Highly Recommend See photos

Duane Hawkins

Amazing food, great service! The only negative was that it was a little loud and busy for a Monday night, but good business! Maybe they could take out a table or two to have a little more room to get around.

Lanie Dean

We went in for a day date brunch (a major win for my husband) so the atmosphere was a little more relaxed, I called it bu-classy (aka: business casual/classy). You'll really enjoy the vibe of this place. The chefs are top notch and sling up some Gordon Ramsey type dishes (my husbands favorite, no joke). We're planning to go back and anticipate a five star dining experience before the musical in December! Brunch was amazing and I can't wait to see what's in store for dinner!

Andy Boukydis

Great southern cuisine menu selection and prompt efficient service. Dining room has ambiance and charm in the heart of Charleston, SC

Elizabeth Soule

Nice pace and good choices - loved the tamale app.

Tim Gaudette

My impression is this is an old school type of restaurant which continues to put out great food and a lovely experience. Sat at bar with family, ordered the shrimp and grits. Outrageously delicious. Definitely worth the visit.

Autumn C.

Great food and great service! The waiter recommended the bbq tuna, and it did not disappoint.

Rusty Owens

Excellent food. Fresh, lots of flavor. Sat at the chef's counter and really enjoyed the view inside the kitchen.

Allen Yeh

Really good cocktails and 90% of the menu could be gluten free and the wait staff was great. We started with sweet potato tamales topped with ox tail (Awesome), grilled quail, snapper over risotto and duck breast over a Brussels sprouts okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake). All of the food was really good.

Thomas Protentis

One of my favorite places to eat. Food and services are always superb

Sarah Bsisu

Went for lunch. SNOB is always on our list when we visit Charleston. It’s consistently good- I prefer the lunch menu. Had the steak frites and sliders at our table- everything was great! The food is always delicious, the place is clean and the service is fast. I highly recommend it! It can get pretty busy so make a reservation, even for lunch.

William Nemeth

Excellent service Adam was very very good , and the food was great.

Ellen Clark

We had a great time here! After a few previous stops, we had had a few cocktails already. The bartender here was fun to be with and also offered suggestions for us. The only down side to our visit was the drink I ordered. It sounded delicious and the bartender warned me it was spicy. Well...I could barely drink it. The drink featured Carolina Reaper peppers and it was SO hot my tongue was on fire! I enjoy spicy drinks but this was a bit too much for me. Otherwise, great place and would love to visit for dinner the next time.

Harry Sassaman

Service was impeccable and food was delicious. Will definitely come back. Strongly recommend reservations.

Roy McGinnis

Food and atmosphere was excellent. Staff was really great. A newly hired young man named Markesse, brought the best cornbread to our table. And I've got to say Markesse is a natural people person. I think he would make an outstanding waiter in no time. Our waiter was professional but he was not much of a people person. 5 stars all in all.

J Hobby

So much good food.

Constance McLaughlin

We were seated promptly at our reservation time for Sunday brunch. Our was server Madison was friendly and extremely helpful. The shrimp and grits which I have had before 4 again fabulous! My mouth literally exploded in flavor. My friend had chicken and waffles and she liked her meal as well. My only complaint and the reason for four stars rather than five is that my food was served warm not hot and my friends waffles were cold. Additionally my drink was never refilled. Not enough to keep me away and if ever visiting Charleston again I will be back.

Scott Devine

Great service, great food, great people. Definitely recommend!

Lillian Bell

Amazingballs food, great service, historic building with beautiful architecture. Can't go ưởng.

Craig Yoho

The food is outstanding. I had dinner here with five colleagues, and everyone was impressed with their meal. The only negatives are the fact that the restaurant is small, with tables located in tight quarters, and the resulting noise level makes conversation difficult. It's acceptable for a business dinner, but I'm not sure if I would take my wife for a romantic meal.

John Birkelbach

Fine dining with a wonderful Charleston feel. We went downtown for the classic Magnolias but they could not seat our group of 7 at the time so my backup plan was SNOB. Easy for me to say this will be my first choice from now on.

Hugh Wilson

Great food and service

Jordan Blake

Stopped in during the lull between the lunch hour and dinner. The burgers were delicious and the shrimp and grits were on point. The house punch was absolutely delicious and refreshing. Large portions, decent prices, and a service staff that saw to our every need leads me to highly recommend SNOB as a must-do while in Charleston.

William Scales

Excellent Choice ... great staff (Abigal was excellent) .. great food and sauces .....
