While participating in a baseball tournament at the Ripkin Experience during the Memorial Day weekend, my family, and half my son's team and their families, stopped in at Remedies for lunch after a Sunday morning double header. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Jason, the owner just happened to be there, and there was a bartender named Danielle working. Danielle was extremely pleasant, never lost her smile, and was hustling to get everyone taken care of. It was obvious that they weren't prepared to take care of such in influx of customers and their rowdy kids on an early Sunday afternoon. Jason called in an extra cook as the place filled up. Although the service wasn't as fast as a chain restaurant, the food was amazing and well worth the wait. The coaching staff, and families of the players couldn't thank me enough for dragging them into Remedies. They raved about how good the food was, how relaxing the environment was, and how wonderful the staff was. I myself had never been to Remedies before that day. I accidentally found it when visiting the dive bar next door the night before. The overall experience was outstanding. I would recommend Remedies to every person I meet going to visit Myrtle Beach. Lastly, I would like to thank the staff for their hospitality. You are what made the overall experience great.

Atmosphere was not busy for a Friday night, the staff was super friendly. We tried a variety of things off of the "new menu". Avoidnthe wings and motz sticks. The dumplins were probably really good but they were burnt. They were still good though. The buffalo chicken dip was good. The nachos are HUGE! It was a very inexpensive place for a group to get together. They do close early though.

Amazing! Single bartender who was barley able to be seen over the bar! She had a full very busy bar and the only one on duty. The walls where covered in stainless steel. Which reminded me of many places that I played in my youger days . However she did an amazing job taking care of us. The food was fantastic! After reading the news paper the next day. I can't recommend it! Stay away after 9pm unless you want live on the wild side.

They have a nice relaxing environment. The bartender was awesome and made great drinks. I love that this could be a calm family environment also. Their door is popular to the locals. Happy hour is right after work ,so we enjoyed a few cheap shots and drinks before going home. I was actually impressed.

Was there 2 weeks ago for a benefit and sat at the tables near the bar. Our server was excellent! The bar was packed and she managed her several tables/groups so well! We always had another drink before our other ones made it to the bottom. Will definitely come back when I attend a conference in March!!

Avoid this place for your own good. There have been multiple shootings here just this year alone, I'm not even sure how they are still in business. The bathrooms are filthy and the bar itself just has a horrible layout.. Bartenders are rude and only take care of certain people who I am assuming are either regulars or friends. Just a very trashy place to be. The old owners years ago ran a great place but it has just gone downhill since new ownership. 1 star is seriously an overstatement! Place has turned into nothing but a ghetto drug bar!

Always had been my favorite bar... Good music and great food... Shaggy was the best bartender on the beach!. He could make anybody feel comfortable.. Sadly he passed away about 2 years ago and it seems it will never be the same... My complaint is, there's always one female waitress that will serve the table in front of you then skip to the one behind u, totally avoiding my table when clearly we have been there awhile and not been served!. Not sure if they are intimidated by me or just B*tches but there always seems to be one that just won't even acknowledge that u are even there and let u go to the bar to order!..

As I'm writing this review I'm in the bar. Very rude bartender it took him almost 7 minutes with nobody at the bar to come serve me. he was eating in front of me and didn't say anything. Will not be returning.

They have some where to sit outside, gravel parking, pool tables inside, they serve food, there's space to get your drinks around the bar, dance space. they have juke boxes, wish they had a DJ every now and then. It's a bar you should definitely visit if your at the beach...also try the wings

Bad service, there was one bartender at happy hour. Took 10 minutes to get a drink. Came for the 5 dollar fishbowlsthat were advertised on facebook and bartender didn't know how to make them. Also didn't even have the fishbowl glasses to make them. No manger on premises. Would not come back.
