This was our first time at Positano and we were very satisfied. The fresh baked bread is to die for! My husband ordered the chicken marsala and I ordered the seafood Mediterranean dish. Everything was so flavorful and fresh! This is a perfect date night restaurant. The staff was friendly and the establishment was warm and inviting. We will be back!!!

My fiance and I went here for our first date and LOVED the atmosphere and food. We would go back and got to know the manager, Tammy....she is AMAZING! We decided to hold our rehearsal dinner here and Tammy has gone SO out of her way for us. Making our party personalized menus and getting back to me quickly with any questions I have had. I can't say enough about the food and the customer service here!

We were passing through the area and had intended to go to The Table but they were PACKED. So we thought Italian food sounded just as good and hoped you would be able to hear yourself think there whereas you couldn't at The Table. The restaurant was clean and reasonably large. After being seated we were brought drinks and some killer fresh bread. That's when we knew we were in for a treat! Between the four of us we had the stromboli, smoked chicken ravioli, chicken marsala, and another pasta dish I cannot remember. They were all out of this world good. My only complaint would be that the calamari appetizer was pretty underwhelming. Could use some more seasoning in the batter and a more flavorful sauce. Whether you are looking for great pasta, pizza, stromboli, or calzone this would be the place to go. The cookery is on point and so is the flavor. We do not travel through this area often but when we do again we are going to make sure to stop at Positano.

Upscale resturaunt tucked away behind the Farmer's Market on Sunset. They have all your classic italian dishes you could want with a modest Wine Selection.

Calamari was tough, and too large for appertizer. Salad sufficient. Bar area and party room. Main dishes tasty. Service fast and okay. Parking outside restaurant free. Menu items should be printed larger due to those folks that can't read by the low lighting.

Absolutely Wonderful! Great gluten free options and the gluten free Alfredo is AWESOME!!! Friendly, knowledgeable wait staff. Definitely recommend. Don't wait in line at the big chain Italians. Go here instead!

Very nice location and beautiful building. Pretty loud atmosphere which made it difficult to have a conversation. The small stromboli was gigantic. If you like cheese - you'll be happy! It wasn't very flavorful. However, I was happy with it. The Italian dressing was bizarre. My husband's lasagna was pretty small, especially considering the size of my portion. The lasagna was just okay. Our server did a good job. The bathrooms were better than average.

I love the way this place feels; the atmosphere is very relaxing. The food was great. I had the Eggplant Parmesan, and the sauce was so delicious, it was very similar to my Italian grandmothers sauce. The eggplant was a little dry but then again it's off season and hard to do. The service left something to be desired. The hostess showed us right to a table, but kind of just brushed off that our server would be there eventually. Also, our server was sort of inattentive. She checked in with us twice after we got our food, and then we didn't see her until about 15 minutes after we were finished and ready for our check. So all in all, food great, ambiance pretty good, service mediocre.

As usual another great meal at Positanos. The service was stellar, no water or ice tea glass came close to empty. We were seated upon arrival. The bread and salad was on point. I cant begin to go into how good our dinner was. It is so nice to not have to drive to Greensboro, High Point or Winston Salem for Italian food of this quality. The portions are large enough you wont leave hungry. This is my third trip to Positanos and it wont be my last. Highly recommend.

For portions of food they are overpriced. The service was terrible. Long waits for everything. Asked for Ranch dressing for calamari. Never got it. When waitress came back she said "oh, I forgot your ranch" I said "I know". Her response was "darn". No apology. Had to ask for tea refills. Never offered any Parmesan cheese for dishes. Lasagna meat tasted like frozen meatballs with lots of bread in them. Will never go back again!

I ate there for the first time this evening and I definitely rank it as a five-star restaurant. I ate the manicotti and it was absolutely amazing. While we didn't have an appetizer, the bread that was served prior to the meal was some of the best that I have ever eaten. The service was also great, the waitress was very attentive the entire time. The atmosphere and the layout of the restaurant was very appealing to the customers and made for a great experience. I definitely plan to return soon.

Food and wait staff were really good. Prices on the menu on Google are different than what's really on the menu. As a reference, they are a bit more expensive than Chili's. Drinks (alcohol) are $8 and everything else is above the $10 price point. The atmosphere was good and the music and crowd did not get loud. This can be a romantic place to have dinner.

Pros: great bread, salads, lasagna, and stromboli . Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Cons: sauce and pasta on two of the chicken dishes were great, but the chicken breast itself definitely had the taste and texture of boiled chicken (ate everything else on the plate). Calamari had no seasoning at all. Shrimp was overcooked and tough. Will go back again, but sticking to basic dishes.

I've been here a few times now and every single time it has been absolutely delicious. Great service, great pasta, and the sauce they make is amazing. There is a create you own pasta section, which has never let me down, or you can order one of the dishes they make and trust me, you will not be let down.

I have always been a fan of this place until my most recent experience. I ordered a dish that said nothing about having cheese. Unfortunately I am allergic to cheese to the point it makes me physically sick. I asked very politely if I could get a new plate without cheese and I even apologized for causing any trouble. The waitress never apologized and seemed more annoyed than anything. She brought back a plate that looked as if it had been stirred. I was worried so I had my friend try it to be sure and she could taste the Parmesan cheese. I really did not want to cause issues so I was just going to ask if I could buy 2 plates, and order one with the marinara sauce instead. She again didn't seem really happy about it. I watched her to go to put in the order and while she did she was talking with a coworker in a very sassy manor. The coworker looked at my table so I was certain she was making comments. She them proceeded to go speak with the chef who then also sent dirty looks my way. He later that evening walked out twice and glared in my direction. I can understand this reaction if I had been rude, but I was being nothing by nice and apologetic. I try not to make things complicated for people. I know I have food allergies but I try to handle them without complaining or even letting anyone know if I can help it. I am certain that the first plate was amazing, so there was no insults to the chef at all. I just would rather have avoided getting sick that evening. I think any decent human being could understand that. Needless to say, I was just very disappointed that such a wonderful place could allow such inconsiderate people to work there. Just ruins a business in my opinion. The food is still amazing, but the quality of service and kindness seems to be lacking now. Hopefully that will change.
