One of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. We had 15 people and everyone loved what they had. I really can't speak much higher about the experience. Service was top notch too, my drink never got lower than half gone without being asked for a refill. You can't go wrong, if you think you'll like the dish you're reading about, I can almost guarantee you will.

Called and made a dinner resv for 4 people at 6:30. Was called tonight at 5:10 asking if we were on our way for our 5:00 dinner. I was shocked, first off I have never made a dinner resv for 5:00 so explained that and asked what could be done. All I got back was sorry, we are too busy to accommodate you later. We are fully booked. . So we were left scrambling for a resv not just for ourselves but for the other couple we were meeting. Looks the the customer owns their mistakes.

Disappointed. My food was good my girlfriends was not so good. The atmosphere was extremely cramped uncomfortable and really just not that enjoyable . This restaurant came highly recommend by a few people but we would of rather spent our last night in town else where .

I was very disappointed. I asked the server about my order and beef. I specifically said I don't eat beef religious issues. Then I got served the beef. I asked server she said its chicken not beef but what do I get beef. No manager came to apologize. Very disappointed

We loved everything here! The service was quick and cheery. The arancini and tomatoes were tasty appetizers. The portions for the entrees were very generous; I brought most of my orrechetti home, and I thought it was delicious. The scallops in the penne were some of the best I've ever had.

Been eating here since they opened five years ago, and it's still the best Italian food on Hilton Head. We especially enjoy the orchietti and the tortellini dishes. Good selection of wines, and the house red works well for me.

Chef Amanda's pasta, salads, apps, and soups are amazing! If I am going out to an Italian restaurant, the pasta needs to be homemade (if it comes out of a box, what's the point?). Pomodori delivers with great technique and delicious flavors again and again!

I have eaten at a lot Italian Restaurants all over the World and across the United States. Pomodori ranks very high on one of my favorite Italian Restaurants. The Food is out standing and the customer service was great from the very beginning of my meal till the very end. The Owner was very welcoming and took great pride in her restaurant. A very proud Lady and proud of her Italian Heritage. These attributes certainly added to the atmosphere of this out standing restaurant located on the South End of Hilton Head Island. It certainly rates five stars and a must visit if you are in the Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Beaufort and Savannah area.

Very disappointed at what was my favorite spot on Hilton Head Island. After making a reservation 3months in advance, my boyfriend and I were given the worst table in the restaurant. We were in front of the hostess stand in front of the kitchen in the path of incoming guests, staff picking up orders resulting in my boyfriend being bumped repeatedly. We asked to be moved and were told no other tables were available. Definitely not a table to be given to someone who planned 3months ahead for an enjoyable evening only to be seated in the midst of chaos. Needless to say we left and will now find another great Italian restaurant of which there are many I’m sure on Hilton’s Head.

This was our first time at Pomodori and it definitely will not be our last. Everything was great, the food, the service and the price. Ambiance was definitely a plus. The chef/owner knows her stuff. Ordered clams with buccatini and it was possibly the best I ever had. Will definitely be back.

Stay away from the veal. Very tough and there was no marsala sauce and very few mushrooms. Homemade ravioli with sausage cream sauce excellent. Anything with sausage is very good. I would never get veal there again. Very disappointed.

Great food. Great service. Real Italian food, in a nice atmosphere. It is located in a retail shopping center, that looks a bit crummy, but ignore that. We have been here several times. Place is small, so keep your party size to under 6. RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDED!!!

Everything on the menu is fabulous. We had the fried zucchini appetizer with a lemon- herb dipping sauce and the salad with Italian Kale and Brussels sprouts for starter. The ravioli stuffed with ricotta and served with chicken and spinach was outstanding. My husband ate leftovers the next day and proclaimed it the best ravioli he’d ever eaten. The penne with sea scallops and the Shrimp Arrabiatta with angel hair was amazing. Boris, our server suggested a wonderful Super Tuscan to accompany our meal and was very attentive and kind. This was our first visit to Pomodori and we can’t wait to return!

Alright, I simply can't say enough GOOD about this place. The food here is on point. The chef does an excellent job using local fresh ingredients and creating masterpieces for us to enjoy. I only wish I was here more than one week a year so that I could explore the whole menu! BTW ... the staff is superb! Our waitress (Angie) has perfect timing down to a science. She was pleasant and charming and made our evening all the better. Many people think a good wine pares perfectly with good food, but so does a great wait staff. The other staff were fantastic too. Everything here is as good dining should be. I simply can't find enough words to do this place justice! It's as though Italy visited Hilton Head and decided to stay! I'll be back everytime I'm on the island. Thanks for a great meal.

My husband and I made a reservation for 2 spots at the bar. We were a bit skeptical at first when she said that was all they had available, but we took it anyway. Little did we know it would be just perfect for the two of us. The bartender was attentive and knowledgable - for that the service was 5 stars. Let's be real though, everyone wants to know about the food. Also, 5 stars. The food almost blew me away from the fried risotto (arancini) to the ravioli special. And the sauce, oh the sauce was absolutely amazing. We were here for an anniversary trip and this was the perfect little spot for a quiet romantic dinner. Hats off to you, Pomodori for making our night so special.

Pomodori is a small yet homey restaurant with a very Italian feel, complete with a ravioli-making machine on one wall and a map detailing the regions of Italy on another. Pomodori offers a daily soup; a number of appetizers including fried zucchini served with a delicious aioli sauce; and several kinds of pasta, including a soft gnocchi or tortellini. Although most dishes are quite large, I found the gnocchi was an exception. For gluten-free customers, Pomodori offers a zucchini alternative. The servers, including Boris, the one who served my family and I during our last visit, are very attentive and seem to be glad you're there.

Was so disappointed. First time we stopped by we needed reservations so we came back to HHI & made 'em. 6:15 & given a choice inside or outside. Both table options were cramped but elected outside. Elbow to elbow and not the intimate dinner we were expecting. They cram too many plastic tables & chairs on top of each other. My food was good tortellini, hubbys chicken parmesagna was worst he'd ever eaten on the island since 1997. Atmosphere is all about the money.

The food was absolutely fantastic. It had real home cooked flavor! Probably the best Italian food I've had. Chocolate torte dessert was also fabulous. Highly recommend this place for dinner. Reservations are highly recommended. Place is small and it was full on a Wednesday night. We were lucky to get a seat at the bar. The bartender was excellent from helping pick our entrees & dessert to wine suggestions.

Personally, it's not my favorite. It is too small and cramped for my taste, the food isn't the kind of Italian food that I enjoy, and the last time we were there, the dining room was FREEZING (despite our repeated requests to adjust the temperature). BUT there are others in our family who LOVE this place. So I guess it's a case of to-each-their-own.
