Great buffet on weekend with really good spread. Go early as they would stay closing even if you have just picked your dishes when their time is up. Kumar is great host who owns it. This is one Percy's which is not biryani only. They have amazing Kadai paneer.. Make sure you all for chef special kadai paneer. I also heard that for non-veg friends GotSuka is great...!

Good Food! Except veg. Biryani. Bit Expensive with poor service.. Nice Decor...Big enough for bigger party.

Sahithi Shalu

The food was brought quick but the quantity wasn't good enough. I ordered a garlic naan with malai kofta, the naan was drenched in oil/butter, kofta was crispy and hard. Rice bowl given with the curry was also meager.

Luis Martinez

The service and food are excellent. Kumar is always making sure you get the attention you need and that you are having a great experience at his restaurant. The food is very tasty and you can request the level of spiciness you want. There are enought choices for the vegetarian and non vegetarian customers to choose from. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are big. We will keep going back.

Daniel Payne

Wow!!! Simply some of the best Indian we have ever had! The lamb korma and chicken tikka are absolutely phenomenal!

I"m visiting from Maryland, and I frequent Indian restaurants all over the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. I was so impressed with Persis, that I've eaten there 3 times this week. What sets it apart, from my observation, are the following: Hospitality- All employees, provided a nice dose of hospitality, and positivity. I like the easy-going vibe that's present. Every employee I've spoke with is approachable, and has an individually endearing quality about them. Affordability- Persis has a lunch combo (which includes an appetizer), they also have a bar seating area which reinforces the idea that It's a very nice place to relax. Fresh food delivered in a timely and courteous manner- Not every spot gets this concept, but the people at Persis do. I'm leaving SC tomorrow, but I'll miss that place. Thanks, Brian A.

Manoj Santhi

Loved the ambience and the Service. Food was as expected.

Lamb Vindaloo - tender, complex, wonderfully spicy, thicker sauce Butter Chicken - tender, mild but present spice level, sweet, creamy deliciousness, sauce was smooth wouldn't describe it as thick Aloo Gobhi Masala - nice vegetarian option, perfect potatoes, definitely hearty, complex spice experience, very thick, there were juices but wouldn't describe it as a sauce Samosa - YES On top of completely satisfying our Indian food cravings, we didn't even eat in, this was a carry out experience, and the customer service made me want to eat there. The host was so personable and engaged me beyond the transaction and another employee (a manager perhaps) also made a point to greet me and engage on a human level. It is easy to forget that customer service can change an experience from good to memorable and great. Little things matter.

Delicious food, friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. Having left behind a wonderful Indian restaurant when we moved recently, I was afraid we'd have a difficult time finding another place we liked as well. Turns out my worries are over!

Nadia Wright

Best authentic Indian food I've ever had. Their vindaloo and chicken tikka masala are phenomenal. We've found our spot for Indian food in the Charlotte area (Fort Mill). The Amrut Fusion scotch is awesome... hint of lowland in the blend, but very reminiscent of Johnny Walker Blue at 1/3 of the price...

RonPaul Mccoy

I live in Charlotte and learn of this location by doning a Postmates delivery. I was so impressed that I brought back my wife and neice. My wife loves Indian food and it was my neice 1st time. They have a Buffett style from 11 am to 2pm on the weekend that was truly amazing. I always order from the menu and always wanted to know how the food looks before I order. Well with the Buffett style it allows me to fully view each item and dish including dessert. Truly one of the best Indian cuisine restaurant in the Charlotte region. An that includes NC and SC.

It’s very well said, food is important part of life, and to have food at Persis just makes it feels great! Amazing Indian food in Fort Mill area. This is the place I can say meets expectations with food taste back home in India. We were visiting friends and they took us to dinner at Persis, Initially I thought they are same as other Persis grill but I was wrong, they are individually owned and operated. The Owner Kumar is an amazing person, he himself took care of us with our requirements. He did made sure we are taken good care and happy with our time there. The food we ordered was delivered quickly at our tables and presentation was awesome, food tasted same as we were having it back home in India. We started with Samosas and Pakora, with main course, Paneer curries, Naans, Garlic Naans, Malai Kofta, Biryani and sweet Gulam Jamun. Everything was just awesome, we all just loved the place and the food. It made our evening. Will definitely visit again when in area!

Katherine Smith

So delicious. Generous portions. The garlic naan is the best I've ever had.

sushant waidande

Very Authentic Indian cuisine. Love their butter chicken, and tandoori chicken. Place definitely worth's the visit, or for cater. We recently catered food from them and everyone loved it- including the American and Indian crowd. Must try!!

My girlfriend wanted to try this place... so, we went... I have never been too crazy about ethnic food and typically avoid spicy food, but I had an open mind. Even the dishes that weren't marked as spicy had quite a bit of a kick. I guess everyone likes hot stuff in India. The waiter was very nice and I guess the food was fine, despite the fact that it is not my cup of cumin. The place opens for lunch until 3P and we arrived at 2P. I asked if it was okay and was answered that it certainly was. It didn't take us long to order food, including appetizer and wine. It took a normal delay for the food to arrive and we ate at a normal pace. By 3P, sharp, the waiter brought me the bill. No inquiry for dessert (whew !). The music stopped and the lights were dimmed. I thought it was incredibly rude to be pushed out this way. If they didn't want to serve us, they just had to say so and we would have found another place. There is no shortage of restaurants in the area. Hey ! I was a good sport, I tried.

Ryan Mosher

Grabbed lunch here at the bar. Awesome lunch specials that provided a lot of food for the price. Overall great experience and friendly staff!

The Persis Indian Grill in Fort Mill south Carolina had everything we were looking for in an Indian food restaurant. We moved to the Rock Hill area of South Carolina a few months ago and hadn't really found any good Indian food close to home but the Persis Indian Grill has great food and wonderful friendly service. Christian the guy that took care of us came around the perfect amount. He kept our glasses full and got the boxes for our leftovers and finally the check to us at exactly the right time. We had Tika Masala and Butter Chicken and it was perfect. The bathrooms were clean and there was ever a little bar that my wife and I plan to check out on a date night.

Brenda Fox

Absolutely amazing service I had the pleasure of having Ember and she was wonderful. The food was amazing.

Heather Moore

Delicious food! Great ambience. Gotta try the garlic naan perfect compliment to any dish you order!

Stephen meyer

Really good food, nice environment

Rachel Chamberlain

Delicious! It was my first time eating Indian food and it was fabulous. Helpful and friendly staff. Kid friendly bathrooms! Would recommend to everyone!

ritika razdan

Amazing tandoori chicken and other food options too!! Great ambience.

Dylan Danks

I've only had Indian food twice in my life. I thought the food was very good with just the right spice.

old school jamerson

Great good great service!

Lee Howell

We absolutely love the tikka masala!! buuuuut the prices and consistency are wack. We used to get takeout rather often but the quality and amount vary too widely. There is zero consistency from the kitchen. We have had orders with hardly any chicken, orders with hardly any sauce, and orders with little rice. We have had zero spice that made us sweat buckets. It's pretty good but getting takeout from here is not advised. If I could give 2.5 I would. Great food is only a part of the equation.

Klaus Steinhoffenbodden

Excellent Curry, good clean restaurant priced just right. Only negative thing I can say is that I wish they offered WiFi like 99% of other restaurants.

Parth Vyas

This place has better ambiance than regular Person! The food here is definitely best in Charlotte area. Also the bar and wine collection is very nice. The service is really professional and would love to go to this place more often. Check out the photos!

Tehn Kocz

We always enjoy coming here for dinner. My husband and I love Persis in Fort Mill, SC. The tikka masala is our favorite dish here and you cannot have an entree without the garlic naan. The staff is always so pleasant and accommodating. This is the best Indian food we have found in the Charlotte area by far!

North East

Not good Overpriced Poor service Quantities are generous only for sauce not protein Protein quality isn’t the best Sauce is so sweet which isn’t good

Fenil Patel

What a great experience, food was delicious and totally worth it. This is the place to go without hesitation for great Indian food. Recommend by repeating customers and not disappointed. Very large selection spicy and not spicy, plus vegetarians. The service was exceptional and atmosphere was great. Thank you team persis for exceptional hospitality. Strongly recommend.

John Wade

Great food.

Deborah Sagor

I really enjoyed the Butter Nan, the Tandoori Chicken, and the Mango Lassi. You can choose your level of spiciness. Service was excellent. Prices are a little high since everything (including the Nan) is a la carte. The restaurant was a little warm for such a hot day, especially with the spicy food and wine.

Jay Patel

Top notch food, service, and facility. The food is fresh with traditional flavors. The staff was very friendly and helped accommodate spice level. The restaurant is very clean and modern. Very cool vibe for dining and bar! Would highly recommend for takeout and date night. Not your average Indian spot, I’ve tried them all.

Samir Patel

This is THE best Indian restaurant in Charlotte area. We have been in this area for almost 10 years now and tried every new and old Indian restaurants here, but nothing comparable to what we found today at Persis Biryani at Fort Mill. All other Persis Biryanis in Charlotte are average restaurants with ok food and not so good service, but this one in Fort Mill is exceptionally good for both food and service. The owner/manager was really attentive and took care of all the needs for the family. The server Cooper (very young kid) did excellent job from taking order to bringing all our food timely on the table. We went with very little expectation (just because of very bad reputation of this franchise), but this franchise location in Fort Mill really surprised us and won our future business! I would give them more than 5 starts if I could. Highly recommend!

Drive To The World

Do you want to eat Indian. food in fort Mill only one. Choice is persis Indian grill. Nice food. and Nice place to hang out with friends and family’s. lunch

Glenn Roth

My wife and I went to Persis for the first time tonight. I have to applaud them for excellent food, great service, and an all around fantastic visit. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend them.

Bridget Wright

So difficult to find authentic Indian cuisine in our area, but this is it! Biryani, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, aloo gobi, 4 different nan.... nomnomnom. And a full bar with variety of Indian brews too! Love this place!

Mike Easton

Everything was full of authentic Indian flavor. Will certainly be back soon to try everything else on the menu. Vindaloo was to die for and very spicy just like we ordered.

Amit Susurla

Well I have an update. Ordered chicken biryani and what I got what was horrible...see photos of of orange chicken in in chicken biryani

Alex Emerson

Timely and delicious!

Kristel Colbert

This restaurant is amazing. Great selection of dishes. The service is implacable. Our food was so delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Jon Hayes

The flavors were fantastic, in the couple dishes I ordered, but the menu wasn't very clear about possible major food allergens, such as dairy (and a *lot* of the items on the menu contain it). The lamb, in the dish I ordered, was delicious and properly cooked, but more bone than meat, or so it seemed. Might give it another try, in the future; could have been just one of those nights.

Mark Ciarrocchi

Great food. The garlic naan was yummy. Could only be improved with some lamb naan. The Vindaloo was perfectly spiced and flavorful. Service on point.

Tanmay Patel

If you want authentic Indian food that’s not Americanized then this is the place you have to visit! You get amazing food with a family friendly service from a family that treats you like you’re sitting at their own dinner table!

Sunitha Siripuram

Usually a fan of persis biryani, Ordered fish curry during our recent visit..the fish which was served got spoiled(rotten)..when we asked the server ..she called hotel manager, the manager who came to us took back the curry and asked if we want to order something..she did not even care to apologize..she did not even realize that we are upset and left as nothing happened..very very cheap way of treating customers

darshan patel

Quality food, great service and staff. Food is always fresh and lunch buffet always has good optione and very clean. Owners are very nice and care about their customers. Ember was my server she was so nice and helpful, very knowledgable about the menu and items.

Ankur Mehta

One of the most best Indian restaurant in Charlotte area. Their service and food is mindboggling. Try their methi mutter masala, paneer tikka, cheese butter masala and sweet corn soup.

tvennetti

Food and service are exceptional. Its hard to find a restaurant that consistently has both great service and great food. We have been here 3 times and it is awsome. I highly recommend Persis andxwill definitely be back.

Rohit Khadse

Really bad service. I was the only person. One of the waiters told me seat wherever you want. As it was Friday and too much rush. I couldn’t able to find any table for a single person. But I found one which is actually for 4 people. I didn’t have an option so I choose that. . There were more groups after me. I also saw after some time that one of the manager was pointing toward me and talking to a waiter. It really felt bad that they don’t want to serve a single person on a busy day. I always heard Persis is famous for Chicken Biryani. I drove 30 min + (20 min wait) there to just try Chicken Biryani. When I ask a waiter for Chicken Biryani. He told me there is no Biryani. I had to forcefully eat something else as I already wasted almost 1 hour.

Boo Fields

Masala Tikka shrimp was excellent! Service was over the top as well.

Jason Leventis

Great food and service! My wife and I are pumped to have an awesome Indian restaurant in Fort Mill.

Howard Stall

Amazing food! So happy to see this place in ft mill. Very modern Indian restaurant with a bar area, wine selection. Definitely not the typical Indian restaurant ! Chicken Korma and Butter Chicken are amazing.

Mark Crawford

Great lunch buffet. One of the better Indian buffets in Charlotte

Chirag Sheth

Too good food. Excellent

murlidhar kadam

Trendy place to grab Indian cuisine along with cocktail/ mocktail. Taste is true authentic. Nearby lost of residential area & commercial places. Be prepared to wait for 30-45 min on Thursday/ Friday evening. No buffet only Ala carte.

Geoffrey Wexler

Very happy with everything about our Friday night dinner selection at Persis. The wife and I both loved our dishes, as I went with chicken Korma and she chose the butter chicken. Both were exceptional with flavorful sauces. Our service was also 5 stars. Our waiter, Corey, was knowledgeable and very accommodating to all our needs. He knew the menu inside-out and made great suggestions based on our tastes, knowing this was our first trip. However, we will definitely be back!

Gabriel Suarez

The restaurant deserves five starts, but I graded it with four starts because the curry was too salty. It felt like eating marinara sauce without the spaghetti.

Elizabeth C. Smith

Delicious food. Garlic on naan a bit intense as sightly raw. Tiki masala and biryani yummy. Didn’t get a five star because a bit on pricey side to not get a side with meals.

Mark Mynhier

Good food. Very authentic. Their "very hot" wasn't as hot as I usually like it, but the flavors were spot on and well done. Highly recommend...and get the garlic naan

Douglas Cathcart

Very good food and service

Neha M

Delicious food..

Curtis Correll

Persis has such tasty food. Our group had some picky eaters and some adventurous ones like me. Some of us prefer hot and some avoid hot. We all came away enjoying our food and having plenty of good tastes! The chef came out and gave us good advice. Try Persis. You will like it. One word of warning. If you like hot but don't eat peppers competitively, go with one pepper items. Two pepper items had me sweating from my scalp. Can't imagine what three peppers would do. They source their peppers from Pucker Butt, so that should tell you something.

Danie Du Toit

Not worth the time or money spent for a special occasion, our wedding anniversary. Our meals were mediocre at least. 6:30 PM on a Friday night, only three other tables occupied in the time we were there, does not seem too popular. There are few great Indian restaurants in the Charlotte area, unfortunately this not one.

Lisa Niemyer

Awesome food, great vibe, and supper friendly staff. A must if you like authentic Indian cuisine.

Joey Cartier

Food was good and hot we can in about an hour before close. The staff looked disinterested but we did get served

Bill Hargett

The food is amazing! This is one of my favorite spots in Fort Mill. You won't find better Indian cuisine in the area.

Lamia Saroar

I went to the weekend buffet that was bad experience. I expected the food will be good and authentic Indian but almost all the item taste sweet just like dessert

Jonathan Williams

Met some family here for lunch, service was quick and food was very good. Some of the hottest vindaloo I've ever had.

ember byrd

This place is the BEST EVER. Such great food and exceptional service. 10/10 would recommend.

Amit Ahirrao

Food was really good. Very close to real Indian food. Staff was friendly and the food portion was also good. Slightly expensive than others but worth trying.

Joshua Powell

Excellent entrees and appetizers, quick service, friendly waitstaff, nice environment.

Tammy Thomas-Bennett

Great Indian restaurant with amazing food and ambience. Their service is excellent too!

Snow L

Nice ambiance, waitress was nice, and good service. I was a little disappointed with the menu being limited compared to the one in Columbia.

snovismom

The Goat Biryani IS HEAVENLY! The Garlic Naan was cooked and seasoned to perfection. This is a must on your foodie adventures.

Jacob Jager

Had a very good waiter, the food was very good and more then enough. The owner/ manager was a gentleman. We where there well after closer and they maintained absolute professionalism. We be going back in the future and recommend.

Daniel Fieldstone

Many people have not tried Indian food. Step out of the norm and try something new for once. This is a great place to go on a culinary adventure. You can also go to the bar in here and have a good time as well. Service is good as well.

Kiran Koushik

Very over priced. BUFFET costs $17 ?????? I have never seen Indian buffet being charged so much. Seems pretty atrocious, especially when you see flies flying over the food. They don’t have the standard buffet table.. it seemed like a temporary arrangement with table and candle burner. There were very few items to choose from. $17 is not at all justified.

Jennifer Ramirez

This was my first taste of Indian food and it did not disappoint. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Please note - if they say it's spicy, it means it's VERY hot lol.

Cory Barnes

I spent 5 weeks in India a few years ago and their chicken biryani is as good as I've ever had, and the chicken in it was flavorful and juicy. There was also good service and portion size. Worth a visit.

Tammy Smart

Pleasant atmosphere. Great service. Loved everything we ordered. Asked our server for recommendations. I do recommend.

Geoffrey Lee

The food is Deliscious . The service is excellent and for the price you get a huge portion. Definetly #Authentic

thomas kelley

Clean, friendly, tasty and great menu choices!

Rachelle BorderHammer

Food, service, restaurant- all excellent! Definitely recommend. Will be returning for sure.

Kim Neal

Got carry out from this place for the first time and the food is outstanding!

shannon listman

This is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is always delicious, and the employees are very friendly!

Kim Olejnicak

Excellent food. The salmon, butter chicken, Korma, Tandoori chicken and Naan were all excellent.

Kelly Walker

Food was good, I do however, prefer Copper in Charlotte off of East Blvd.

Derek Sinclair

I have been enjoying indian food for over 30 years. I grew up in the UK and we know all about good indian food there. My flight out of Charlotte was delayed so I googled indian restaurants and found this one. All I can say is WOW. Wonderful food, with slight variations in some dishes that were a nice change. My usual go-to is Chicken Tikka Masala. I decided to try something different and on the bartender's recommendation I went with "Methi chicken". It was wonderful. Spicy but not crazy spicy so I could not taste the flavors. The Fenugreek, cardamom, garlic, ginger and other flavors just exploded from the fork. It was just really really good indian food. Highly authentic menu with lots of vegetarian choices and almost every dish is gluten free. One tip for first-timers. Authentic Indian food is often made with on-the-bone meat (goat dishes are usually on the bone) and "dark" meat chicken mixed in with white meat chicken. My dish had white and dark (near the bone) chicken. I dont mind that, but if you're a white meat chicken kind of person, request "white meat only" when you order. If you like spicy, try the chili garlic nan bread. It is really good. 5 stars from me. Friendly, efficiant service and a nice bar area with a TV for sports if you're so inclined. Good for single diners. HIGHLY recommended. Good for first-time Indian food.

Anand M C

Good indian restaurant, we can customise your order a bit. We get vegetarian dishes here. However it is spicy on weekends, hence should communicate before order if you want less spicy. Walkable from courtyard Marriott hotel, though we need to walk on a highway little bit

Darshan Shah

Amazing food... excellent service

Mark Holland

Excellent flavor profiles in authentic Indian fare. If you like Indian food, you'll love Persis!

Sean Moran

Awesome food, super nice people, can’t wait to come back.

Samson Ilori

Very nice place to be. Very neat and the workers are friendly. Will definitely come back

Ms Mizz

I had the pleasure of visiting for lunch today with co-workers and the food was absolutely amazing!! Beautiful establishment and great service. Looking forward to returning.

Manoj Narkhede

Only you get good biryani

Jegan Anisha

I went to persis indian grill fortmill yesterday with my family and ordered mushroom pepper fry, it was delicious, and fish curry was very tasty,i will definitely reccomend to my friends to try this restaurant food.thanks t ok the chefs who prepared our food.

Deborah Carson

The food is amazing here and the drinks are even better. The bartenders and staff are very helpful and personable. The environment is clean and inviting. The food is authentic. Kudos to the chef, bartender, servers and the entire team!!!

Nathan Gaulden

Tried this place out this week for lunch w/ 2 friends. Its very clean and attractive inside. Service was prompt and professional and the flavors of the food were all very good. In my opinion they need a lunch menu that offers a value and includes your protein, starch and vegetable as a package deal. We were rookies and asked for suggestions from our server who happily suggested 5 or so dishes. I took his suggestion for the tandoori chicken ($15) and was a little surprised when it came out w/ a little bit of cabbage garnish and two really small pieces of chicken on a hot iron skillet. No sides were included and I wish that had been explained by the staff. We had the Samosa appetizer and they were excellent ($7) especially w/ the tamarind sauce. In conclusion it won't be on my lunch list for now but it would make for a really nice dinner with someone special where you are not in a hurry and can order a variety of items to balance your plate.

Laura Jane

I had a lovely lunch here. My server was Ember; she was helpful and attentive! I appreciate her suggestion of getting the Veg Biryani as medium rather than spicy! Thanks a ton!

Nathan Sutter

Ok the food is good. Lets get that out of the way. If you want a good indian dish they have it. My complaints are service and consistency with spice levels. We ordered 5 dishes. I like mine very hot so i orderd a vindaloo (lamb) and spicy. My family does not prefer hot so they ordered mild 3 of the dishes were mild but my sons was nearly as hot as mine which ruined the experience for him. The service was not good. We love going to Indian restaurants and the service is one of the reasons. Typically waitstaff is very attentive and extra care is taken to ensure you enjoy your meal. Not the case here. Finally and my biggest issue with Persis is the Nan bread. The staple if the Indian meal. Part fork, part napkin, all delicious. At persis aparently you have to pay 3-5$ for 4 triangle shaped pieces of nan. Literally picture a round pita cut into fourths and that was what we were brought for 5 people. Ended up having to order 3 baskets and still ran out. Overall there have to be better options than this in the Charlotte area. Cost was not on the cheap side either. 115 for 5 people without drinks. Thanks for the reply. Deleting 2 stars. 2.99 vs 5.00 is immaterial. The point is paying for how little we got was ridiculous.

Siva Kumar

Food is not bad but the hospitality & attitude of the manager is not good at all. I called to order some food over phone & the response is rash & blunt to say the least. While the one time we were there, they did not care about customers’ satisfaction. Also found it to be a bit pricey compared to other Indian restaurants.

Melissa MacIntyre

Food is excellent, take out or dine in the quality and taste are the same.

Josephine Manns

The food was delicious! It came out super hot, and everyone loved what they got. The waiter was also very knowledgeable on all of the options. However, the food and appetizers came out at the same time. The only thing I would suggest for the future is to offer the option of tofu in place of the cottage cheese cubes to make the options vegan! Overall, we all enjoyed our experience.

David Jackson

This place has the best I main food I have ever had.

Jennifer Hanes

Excellent. Was missing Bay Area California Indian restaurants. This restaurant was just as good.

puneet tulsi

Good food, biryani especially.

Leo

Terrible experience today. I visited this place 2 weeks back and had an above average experience so took a colleague there. Today it was a disaster. I order pepper chicken. Firstly they got the wrong appetizer out. No apology or even a sense of being sorry. Then they bring apparently the correct one but it had a very stale taste. Felt like chicken from previous day. I checked with them and again no apology. I ordered chicken tikka instead and that was made well. However no one cared to even check if that was OK. My entree butter chicken was good along with nan. Overall the service was below average and the quality was horrible. I returned home and immediately my tummy gave way which confirms that the food was rotten. Never going back.

RJ Manoni

The food is amazing. Let me say that again, the food is amazing. notice, I'm giving it three stars. This is like my eighth time there, and the service continues to not be good. So, they deliver using one of those delivery services, use that. Don't upset yourself with going to this place. Let me end with the food is amazing

Lisa Honeyman

Great experience. Great people. Food was decently priced and the flavors were exceptional.

DM Yates

Persis is one of our favorite restaurants! Great atmosphere and amazing food. So good, we always come for lunch or pick up for the office crew. They now have a weekend buffet...so many options! So glad Persis is in Fort Mill!!!

Shane Roberts

The food is absolutely delicious and the service was great. If you're looking for something different to eat and authentic Indian food this is the place to go to. We will definitely be back again.

Valerie Jepson

Nice place. Quick service. Friendly staff. Would return.

Lee Bond

Food was excellent service was excellent

Leah Luck

So excited to have Indian food in Fort Mill! Everything was super delicious, and the staff took time to help explain the dishes and the menu, which helped a lot with ordering. The look and feel of the place is upscale but unpretentious. Prices were appropriate. The wait for food is a tad long, but worth it- and they even thoughtfully brought out the kids’ food earlier so my impatient muchkins were kept happy. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our meal and experience at Persis. Will be back!

Sumpter Smith

Great variety of delicious food with or without protein. Large portions too.

Bryana Kyser

Wow! Cannot say enough about their Saturday and Sunday Brunch Buffets... a chance to try new things you never knew you’d love!

Mrs Kavanagh

The food is always delicious here!

Jacob Hundl

Authentic and delicious upscale Indian cuisine in an upbeat and well decorated dining room. Every dish I have tried is spot on, and service has been excellent. Good selection of Indian beers as well, and a well stocked bar. One of the better restaurant options in the area!

crayton heritage

love the cauliflower that tastes like bbq wings!!

vamsidhar y

“Rules are for the guidance of the wise men and the obedience of ....” The website stated that the restaurant closes at 9:00 PM and when we reached there at 8:36 PM we were told that the dine-in is closed. I think Customer Service is about accommodating a family with three year old especially when they say that they have been driving for about 300 miles and stopped on the way to eat, based completely on the details provided in the restaurants website.

S E

Thanks for your delicious meal. We enjoyed the chicken biryani, chilli chicken and chilli mushroom. All were authentic and amazing.

Brendan Mccluskey

Very tasty every time we go. Recommened for a good date night. Nice staff and great location.

Gabriela Ceballos

Loved the food, service, and environment. The food is delicious, super flavorful, service was helpful and the environment was nice and the place very clean. The prices are great for food quantity and quality.

Deepak Hari

Wait is longer than normal. staff couldn’t provide proper service mostly not responsive and was unable to understand the availability of most of the items in the menu. Every single item ordered came with a “not available at the moment” as reply. I had to call the available staffs randomly for plates, water, towels etc each and every time . None of them could hear me due to the noise from the bar. I have been ordering with other Persis for lunch delivery at work and never had a complaint. The Taste at this location did not compliment to the price tag. Overall, not so good experience on a special occasion..

Mittal Patel

Grrrrreat Food. Excellent service.

William Cessna

This is the most authentic Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at, the menu is very unique compared to other Indian restaurants I have visited and the level of spice to suit you taste is impeccable ...wonderful !!! It's a must visit

David Nettles

Excellent service, excellent Indian cuisine

Kira Betea

If I could give 0 I would. We tried to order online through doordash since we didn't want to go out but I couldn't add paneer to a vegetarian korman since "they can not do special requests online". We then decided to try the place in person. Poor choice. We were sat 1st of 3 tables and waited for 10 minutes with no one even offering us water. A four table was seated and then served before us. We will not be back! For the rating this place was given they do not know how to treat their patrons. If you want a place that will sit you and then ignore you please feel free to patron this place. Responce: I understand you are not doordash but when you set up an agreement with them you are setting up how your restuarant is on their site. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the staff, service, and food at this location. The food was very rich and tasted so good, the people were very kind and always attent to everything we needed. Managers were always coming around greeting individuals and had no hisitation to answer my questions. Very family friendly and kind. One of the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Very authentic!

Everything was salty. If you have any concerns the manager will come dent it to your face.Horrible service.we were regular customers but this restaurant has a lot to learn about treating customers properly. Unprofessional managment.

5.99 for a Stella artois is outrageous!!! Otherwise food was decent first time trying Indian food but pricey and put ice in your water.

We have lived in Rock Hill for just over a year, and have been trying to hunt down a good Indian restaurant. Found it! Not just good....amazing. Clean, very pleasant ambience, and excellent wait staff. The food was tremendous, quite probably the best chicken tikka masala my husband has ever had. I had the boneless chicken biriani, equally fabulous. We look forward to exploring the menu further. Be warned,go very hungry or prepared for a carry home box! I understand they are planning on offering a weekend buffet in a month or so.

Excellent food, good service and a full bar. Add in high quality Indian food in veg and non-veg forms and expert blends of masala's and you have something special on your hands. I find their spices more intense, thicker and a tad dryer than what I'm accustomed to in Indian food -- but I liked that unique difference at Persis. If you like Indian gravies to be more more liquid, you might not enjoy their food as much as I did, but their dryer gravy accentuates the spice density and flavor. The experience was less like mopping up the plate and more like scooping up Indian spice gold. They love their masala's here and if you share that love you'll be in heaven. Chili pepper heat levels range from 1-3. My preference is hot but not punishing. I tried #2 and it was medium heat at most. Some fans of extra-hot Southern Indian food might be disappointed, but again, Persis' emphasis is the spice mixtures; overpowering heat would distract from this strength. Bottom line: Top marks. Go and enjoy.

Went for lunch, was not crowded, server was very attentive and sweet. Ordered an Appetizer and two main dishes. It was Great! Just enough spice, so full of flavor and textures! Will definitely go back ASAP.

These people will serve as per order(Togo, dine in). If it is to-go,The texture will change and the piece of a chicken will be chewy(this is third time of my experience). I already complained to management but no actions were taken. Food is not worth for what we are paying. Sometimes it will be worst, please ask them before ordering whether it is freshly prepared or not. Ofcourse no one say it was prepared yesterday, but please be aware.

My wife and I visited recently on a Thursday evening. Everything about our experience was first class. Possibly the best Indian dinner we have eaten.

On our way to South Carolina we stayed over in Fort Mill and tried this restaurant. Worst Indian food and restaurant I've ever eaten in. I should have been tipped off by the amount of empty seats on a Sunday evening at 6:30. My companion and I asked for MILD as in our many past experiences with Indian food, its easier to add spices than remove them, and we do not like excessively HOT food. For appetizer we shared Chili Baby Corn. We could only finish half between us because it was so HOT! We reminded our waiter to make sure the entrees were MILD and he said okay with no apologies for the bad appetizer. We ordered Diwani Handi and Vegetable Biryani for entrees. Again, each plate was too HOT to eat. The waiter suggested that it was possibly because our taste buds were affected by the HOTNESS of the appetizer. Again, no apologies, just a blank uninterested expression. We asked that the food be wrapped for takeout, thinking maybe it would be MILDER the next day. He tossed a couple of foam containers on the table for us to package the food ourselves. The next day the food was still too HOT to eat and it went into the garbage. I emailed our experience to the restaurant management and have received no reply. My mistake was a simple one. I should have left the food there and refused to pay the bill. Lesson learned. Note: Response from the owner was that we could not or did not understand the menu. TRUST THAT WE CAN READ. Yes, there were 2 Red Peppers next to 2 of the 3 items we ordered. THAT IS WHY WE ASKED THE WAITER IF THESE DISHES COULD BE MADE MILD.... ALL 3 OF THEM. The waiter said YES. The bill we received has MILD printed next to each item. See photo below. Yet all 3, even the one without the Red Pepper Warning were inedible.. I suggest the management spend more time educating their staff then placing blame on the customer.

Our team had our lunch here and everything was delicious. Because our party was so big, the check situation was a little tricky but it got figured out. Thanks for the great experience!
