As you can see its rating is quite good, and it's founded on a large number of opinions, so we can be quite sure that the evaluation is very accurate. If people have bothered to value when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of New American restaurant.
This was an amazing meal. Everything was cooked to perfection and the adult beverages were delicious. I love the outside deck atmosphere. The service was alright but I will definitely be going back to try more items on the menu!
Ate here 2x whike visiting, both times had excellent and enjoble meals. Casual and open atmosphere. Definitely recommend the Nashville Chicken with collard greens and mashed potatoes.
All good was phenomenal
Over cooked everything even burnt the grill cheese.
Food was rather bland especially given the price. Girlfriend had the poached Halibut, and, for the $25 price tag, it was highly disappointing. The shrimp and grits were decent, but I've had better. The kids meals are just overpriced for what they get (a hot dog for $7, really?) Be prepared to drop at least $100 for a family of 4... In all, we were all unimpressed. The service was good, but the waitress was all business and had really no personality.
Great atmosphere and fab fare but wait was a little long both to be seated and while dining. Maybe that's just the trade off for deliciousness.
I've only had apps at the bar. They were great.
Great food. Try the burger or the smoked pork chop. Can't go wrong with either.
Always an enjoyable meal, from appetizers at the bar to a full meal. Comfortable, creative cusine, top-notch beer and spirits choices, all presented well and consistently good. A favorite of this local's family.
Excellent food and service!
Bad business practices. they will never get my business because of how they run their business.
The beer selection is amazing. PB&J and the Aloha beers were great
Great food and relaxed environment. Will definitely go back.
Great food and environment! One of mount pleasants hidden gems that won't stay hidden for long!
Great spot for small groups
Best shrimp and grits!
The Brussel sprouts are to die for!!!! Best I've ever eaten... Also very friendly and fast costomer service.
Had dinner there last night, it was a good crowd but we got great service, personal interaction and a lot of attention. And then the food was excellent. A great meal and a great night out!!
Bad service...food is just ok...people allowed to vape in restaurant..strange experience
Really great food!
Disappointing experience. Please stop the kitsch and actually put out good Southern food. Everything was ok and at time of visit they had a 4.7 rating. Based on this rating we decided to visit. Not as good as the hype. Former Chef and classically trained in culinary arts I might be hyper-critical but it seems like this restaurant needs to get back to what got them to a 4.7 in the first place. Would not recommend.
Great pork chop! Fun ,close, a Mt.P staple
Will never forget this restaurant. Chef is FABULOUS. A hidden GEM. Beef outstanding, every little thing. Just traveling through. Think he is former military & brilliant. Sally & Gary
The food was fantastic. We got the pork chops with collard greens and Mac and cheese and the Tennessee hot chicken with mashed potatoes and collards. We got the hush puppies as a starter, I think they had pimento cheese inside. It was an interesting addition to deviate away from the traditional. The chicken wasn't too spicy, but the housemade hot sauce with it was perfect. The pork chop was smoky and delicious. I loved the Mac and cheese. They served great local beers. We will definitely be back again!
Creative menu great craft beer
Omigoodness. The food was so delicious and our service was was outstanding. Definitely will come back on my next trip to Mount Pleasant.
Love the food here the lobster shrimp and grits all my gosh so delicious and they give you so much food it's worth the visit
Outstanding service, everything we tried was above expectations! I definitely will come back!
This is a hidden gem. Food is fantastic. Buy the Groupon and give it a try.
Great food and good service. Lots of parking.
By far one of the best means I've had in a long time! Every one loved their meal... Nashville chicken, sweet potato gnocchi with short rib ragout and pork chops! Fried babre pudding for dessert!! Incredible meam and dessert!!
Great menu!! The staff is super friendly as well.
Waitress was nice. Unfortunately food was awful, swatted flies the entire time we were there, maybe we ordered the wrong thing but the price was high for the quality, Hate to say it was the worst meal we have had since we’ve been in mount pleasant over the past 12 months, disappointing
The food here is really good!
have eaten here 10-15 times always an awesome experience. We had some family in town last night was a last minute thing so i wanted to treat them to a great meal. (did not make reservations) did call ahead and was advised it would be about a 10-15 minute wait. We arrived within 5 minutes then was told would be 30-45 minutes. The main dining area was empty not 1 person in the entire place.. I asked could we take one of those tables, and was told no they were for customers with reservations. we decided to not wait because they could not guarantee a time which i understand. So walked a couple doors down to Matt's Pizza had a great meal paid and left. Had to walk back by ON 41 and the main dining hall was still empty.! just out of curiosity I walked in and asked the hostess again how long the wait would be and she said it would be a 45 minute to an hour wait. i asked again what about the 10 empty tables in the main dining area and she again said those were reserved ha what a joke
The food is outstanding- the staff are welcoming
Food and service were top tier. Had the spinach salad and pork nachos. Both were five stars! Will be a regular from now on.
Busy spot. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Server was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was that of a happening place, popular with the locals.
On Forty-One is my favorite restaurant in Mount Pleasant! The wait staff and menu are exceptional. Be sure to try the mac and cheese and the key lime pie!!!
We visited for dinner to celebrate my birthday and had a great experience! Our waitress, Emily was awesome and attentive. Some of the food was a little bland but the shrimp and grits was amazing! Overall, great portions and good food....strong drinks!
Best brunch in Mount Pleasant!! For dinner, u can't beat the short ribs and fried chicken. One of my favorite places.
The sides were amazing. But when I bit into my fried chicken, it was bloody. So I asked for new chicken. They refried the same chicken (which is ridiculous) and it was still bloody! If they're going to claim to have southern food, then they need to learn to fry some chicken.
Yummy
I'm really sorry for the 2 people below me that had a poor experience because this place is fantastic. There are so many good things on the menu I don't know where to start. My wife had the blackened catfish, I just had a burger this time but it was by far the best I've had. The drinks were good to. Every time we have eaten here it's been wonderful, both food and service. This place is casual but feels like it should be downtown.
tasty food and good service
Everyone I talked to raved about your pork chop. We had a party of 8 for dinner at 6.15 and two of us ordered the pork chop an they both came our rare and I mean rare. The waitress very nice and offered to take them back and cook them. The answere was no and she gave us credit . The point is pork should never be served rare which I am sure you are aware off. Apparently your cook head was someplace else. Another of our party ordered spaghetti and meatballs and the bread was as hard as a rock This is totaly unacceptable for a restaurant of your calber. I gave you three stars because of the waitress who had to hear me rant and she handled it like a champ TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE
Great local area restaurant especially if you live off of Hwy. 41! Rivertowne or Dunes West!
This place is awesome!!!! You will be pleasantly surprised!!!. I promise you you will come back! Try it!
Dont waste your time.
The oysters and pork chops are outstanding. Heather did a great job as our waitress- friendly, helpful, and quick to check on us if we needed anything. Great experience.
Best Salmon in Charleston!
The food was some of the best I've ever had will return to this place soon
Good food for a cheap price!
Pretty good place, but high prices.
Food was delicious...scallops, key lime pie, pecan pie cheesecake. Very small inside dining area. Outside dining area was very noisey; groups of young kids hollering as they frequently ran from outside area through inside dining area to restrooms. Better parenting by other customers would have made the experience much better.
Nate is the man
This is a BAR with a small area seating for dinner ..... this is not a restaurant with a bar. Still, the food was good. The fish was over cooked but the flavor was good.
Loved the food and the atmosphere!
Slow service, I think our waiter doubled as kitchen staff. The Nashville Hot Chicken had no spice whatsoever, it looked and tasted like the regular fried chicken. I even asked and I was told that it was indeed the Hot Chicken. This was the whole reason for my visit as it's hard to find Hot Chicken in Charleston. All other food and drink were exceptional.
First time today for my birthday dinner. Cannot say enough about the meal there. It is my new favorite restaurant in the Charleston area. Every dish we had was excellent. Only disappointment was I didn’t go there sooner! Burger, wings, hush puppies, salads...all excellent.
Had the kale Caesar salad with salmon, it was excellent. Ate at the bar, the service was very good. They had live music and the young lady that was performing was good, needed to play some up beat songs. What she played was mostly sad and depressing!
Excellent! Had shrimp pasta full of fresh vegetables, as well as shrimp. Best I've ever had! Pesto was delicious. Drinks are original and very tastefully done. Everyone was very friendly. Be sure stop by if you're in the area.
The food was amazing! We went there for mother’s day and they gave each of us a rose. My mom got the chicken fried steak and it was one of the best she has had. I got the salmon with risotto. It was cooked perfectly and so fresh. Risotto was filled with veggies! Hannah our waitress was so kind. We had a great experience!
Really enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks and food. Our new go-to place!!!
Very crowded rude customers and lousy service
This is an exceptional restaurant. It is located in a small shopping center at the intersection of highways 17 and 41. I have eaten there several times and always leave very happy that I dined there. The food is exceptional. The heart and soul of the restaurant is Cal Whitehead, who is one of the owners. He is truly a delightful man. Not only do the diners enjoy interacting with him, the employees seem to adore him. His infectious smile and attention to detail make dining at this restaurant one of the delights of the Lowcountry. If you are searching for hidden gem of a restaurant, you have just found it. Go there and enjoy!
Great food and great beer with a relaxed atmosphere!
The first time we ate here it was very good. I had the special. This time I ordered off the menu and was very disappointed as my food came out cold and bland. I found it to be over priced as well. We will not be going back.
DELISH! The food was great and the service was fantastic. Pork chops and fried chicken rocked our table. Group of 6 everyone had something different and no one left hungry. It was all very good. So good we are going back tonight.
Best service in Mt. Pleasant!
Killer happy hour, great local Charleston craft beers, friendly staff, delicious low country food...what more can you ask for.
Everyone's food was great. Good live music and amazing cheesecake!
Eclectic yummy offerings and great service!
Soft shell crab to die for, great chef, staff and atmosphere
Food on the menu is awesome. Have been a number of times. Sometimes can get busy so be patient on the busy nights the food will be worth it. Specials are always creative or just plain good.
Caesar salad with arugula is bitter. Fish tacos wonderful Nachos with pork pork wonderful
My favorite southern themed restaurant!
Great fried Chicken.
Server was excellent and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was delicious and I was able to have a gluten free safe meal with the salmon and pureed cauliflower. My husband had the harvest hamburger and said it was one of the best he ever had.
Great restaurant! Wonderful service and food. Bar has innovative cocktails. Lots of craft beer on tap. Informal atmosphere.
The food and here's the best ever. The price was reduced
Nice atmosphere, bland food.
Love the service
Nice place, excellent food and customer service
Great place for parents and kids
Great Food and Excellent service!
Almost... Always a good place to relax and enjoy a beverage and food.
The food here is fantastic! The location is kind of "meh" so I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but I was blown away. The menu is mostly southern comfort food (so there's a lot of local competition), but so far everything I've had here has been top-notch. The interior overflow seating area is a little drab, but honestly that's my only complaint.
One of my favorites
Michelle was great. The food was amazing to. GET THE PORK CHOPS!!!
Great food. All need to say.
Super awesome place, great vibe, amazing food and a pretty killer variety of local craft beers. Went for trivia night and had a great time, Katie the bartender was super nice and helped make the place even better. They seem to have chef specials daily that you dont find on the menu, and the habanero shrimp tonight was amazing. Will definitely be returning to try some more of the chef's specials.
good burgers but noisey
Used to be fabulous… now a bit hit-and-miss. Still really like it though!
So On Forty One is interesting. If you are looking for a "fancy place" in a suburb of the small southern city -- then it's probably what you are expecting. If you have eaten at actual restaurants, then this is about as fancy as Olive Garden but everything about the experience leaves much to be desired. I came down from NYC for Christmas this week and we went there for a family night out... Maybe being in NYC where food is impeccable and service matches, I've been a bit ruined but I can tell you that this place would last about 2 months in the city. Our server, Heather, was uncomfortable to the extent that impacted the mood and the conversation. She tried to make jokes and quips that were out of place and also tried to get in on an inside joke we were laughing about when she came up to the table which was just awkward and uncomfortable. Poor Heather kept calling their "beautiful vegetable medley" a "beautiful vegetable melody" and had a hard time describing anything about the dishes other than "we are known for our porkchop" and the food was either "beautiful" or "heavy". I spent about 8 years in the service industry so perhaps I'm a bit snobby when it comes to service, but wanting both the appetizer order and main course at once is trashy and it's just poor service to not offer a second glass of wine, etc. when you notice someone is ready for a second drink before their meal comes. Most egregious (and my biggest pet peeve) was the fact that our finished plates were left on the table until we asked her to clear them and after waiting about 10 minutes for her to drop the check, a hostess awkwardly dropped off the dessert menu and yet the opportunity to order dessert was never offered. Fast forward to the fact that we had one Groupon that they would not honor because you must present it as soon as you sit down which we didn't know. At a table where everyone is eating, drinking wine and beer, and would have (if given the chance) have ordered desserts -- the $20 discount really seems like a feeble thing for her to be so strongly tied to. When my sister in law talked to the manager about it -- he said that they make the Groupon portions smaller because they take a huge hit on it which just furthers how awkward this experience is. To compensate for the poor service, short ribs that were 3/4 fat, catfish that was entirely too salty -- the manager gave my sister in law his card to "make it right". I'm almost gigging as I write this because the entire experience was so bizarre. Again - probably a great restaurant if you live in Mount Pleasant... but if you have any real frame of reference for what a dining experience should be -- this just doesn't hit the mark. It's hilariously poor.
Amazing meal, and can't find fault with any of the items we were served. Go!
Great spot
Another local favorite watering hole. Great food, friendly staff.
AMAZING FOOD! Happy Hour is from 3:00-6:00 Tuesday-Sunday!
Eclectic is a great way to describe this restaurant...pickled onions on the salads, which are delicious...and my husband loves the fried chicken
A+++ across the board!
Not impressed at all. Oysters were extremely disappointing.
This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in the Charleston area. The food is incredible and simple. It’s not like a lot of restaurants in the area that just try too hard to deliver a good entree. These chefs know what they’re doing- that’s for sure. Our favorite dishes are the braised short rib, sweet potato gnocchi & the Nashville hot chicken. These dishes will leave your taste buds wanting more! Oh and if you’re in the mood for dessert, the creamsicle cocktail is awesome & wow, they have an awesome old fashioned donut that’s served with coffee ice cream. Definitely recommend!
Decent place. The catfish was a huge portion that I couldn't finish, and had a great flavor, but didn't exactly mesh with the collard greens. The greens were darned good in their own right, but were so heavy on the apple cider vinegar that it conflicted with the lobster sauce on the fish. The truffle fries were awesome, and the mac-n-cheese in the little cast iron pans is the best we've found in Mt Pleasant. My son enjoyed the bounce house outside.
Sunday brunch is fun for the whole family.... live music for the adults and a bounce castle for the kids. The food is very good and you get a good amount for the price.
Great shrimp and grits. The chicken is super moist. 41 salad is very good. Backyard BBQ atmosphere.
Cool place for a cocktail and appetizer.
This place is wonderful and caters well to special requests. I always get the roasted veggies and truffle fries with no parm while my husband loves their burger. It’s a perfect mid-week date night.
Great food and ambiance, excellent bar, live music
Excellent place to eat and the food here is great!
Place defines neighborhood eatery. Outstanding food, and people that really care about the place.
First time in Charleston. Ate in the bar. Service was excellent from Nick. His Blackberry Bourbon smash was absolutely delicious. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and collard greens were to die for. My hubbies shrimp & grits was also a winner. Can not wait to get back there!
Awesome food, awesome service, awesome patio! Love that they have a jump castle to entertain kids while you can relax and have a drink!!!!!
Quaint, cozy place to have brunch with friends. Quick, friendly staff and delicious grits and mimosas. Limited parking but definitely worth the trip.
