The food is good and consistent. The wait staff is friendly. The building is very old and very rustic and honestly could use a detailed cleaning/polishing from top to bottom but lets face it, I don't think the owners have much money or this would have been done already. That being said, this place has an old world charm about it and as the dust piles up just think of it as if you are dining in the Adams family house and enjoy it as it is. If you don't like dust then go some place that is squeaky clean. I like it the way it is dust and all and I keep coming back. :)

What's happened to this place? Service was horrible, we waited for our food for about 40 minutes after ordering before the first plate was brought out, and some of us waited another 15-25 minutes after that before we were served. The last couple of us was served really cold food, with some of the food missing from our plates. Unbelievable how different it has been here the last couple of times we have been. I won't be going back. Texas Roadhouse you are worth the drive, less expensive and always awesome service.

Great local restaurant. The decor is kind of old but it gives the place a comfortable feel. But the food is always great - even when we order ToGo. My favorites are the catfish tenders and stuffed flounder. I give 4 stars instead of 5 b/c the last time we went, the waitress kept forgetting us for long periods of time, including right after she said "I'll be right back". There were only 3 tables in the whole restaurant at the time. Also, when our food came up, the chef yelled it out and our waitress continued sitting a table EATING right in front of us while our food sat in the window. When she finally got up to get our food, my bf said he saw her take a fry off his plate and eat it. It was so weird.

Prime rib is fantastic. Baby shrimp is another favorite, and can't go wrong with their salad that they have. They have the best steaks. Never frozen. Their baked potatoes are moist on the inside, not dry and crumbly like most places.

Ok, I had pretty low expectations because the last time it was just OK, not bad, just not impressive but had some great friends invite us with them, so what the heck. We went for the company, not the food. To my amazement it was really, really good. Wife loved her meal, I had the prime rib and it was perfectly cooked. So maybe the place is getting better. Oh, BTW, huge veterans discount of something like 20% or thereabouts. Give it a shot, we will go again.

The food here was very good for such a quaint restaurant. Actually, it was a pretty sizable place. I had a tuna steak for lunch and it was absolutely delicious and a high quality piece of fish. The burgundy mushroom appetizer is a must try.

This restaurant was recommended by our daughter. Not overly impressed. The Pork Basket was pulled pork on a hamburger bun. Waitress couldn't get my beverage correct. How do you mess up half Unsweetened Iced Tea and Lemonade? 2nd attempt at correction was just unsweetened ice tea.

It's a huge place, and wait staff is friendly but the food is pretty mediocre. I've never had a dry chicken tender before but ... The cheesesticks tasted cheap, the French fries were oily. Expensive for such bland food. Obviously a hit with the locals though, the place was packed. Perhaps I should have ordered something else lol

First time here in a while but have always loved coming here since I worked in the area. I got the Steakburger and the raw fries. The burger was the tastiest, juiciest burger I could have asked for and the raw fries were just the way I like them. This is a pretty large restaurant with plenty of tables and seating. The staff are friendly and attentive and the prices are good. Plenty of free parking in front and they take cash and credit cards.

Met friends for lunch. I had the French Dip sandwich and a salad. Salad was good and vegetables were fresh. My sandwich was just so-so at best. The meat was fatty or tough bordering on stringy. The dark pumpernickel bread was overpowering. The broth (jus) oily. My friends enjoyed their meals, thus the 3 stars.

I will say service was great . That is about all the good I can say about the experience. I had wings and they were hands down the worse wings I have ever had. The only thing about them good is that they were big and meaty but they were dry and very over cooked. Plus, they had no taste. I had lemon pepper wings and hot wings . Well, that is what I ordered but, it's hard to say because they had no taste. I was in a large group and I was the only one that had wings . I guess the other food was good . Maybe it was just a bad night for the wings but I would never get them again there . Sorry, just being honest.

While Murray's doesn't look like much from the outside, inside you will find a friendly busy resturant with some delicious food. Very casual and homey, Murray's seems like a local favorite. They weren't packed but they had a steady flow of customers that seemed to know this simple family oriented eatery was the place to be. The wait staff was friendly and interacting with customers that appeared to be enjoying their visit. The food was ready quickly and was delicious. The onion rings are huge and really good! The menu isn't extensive, but there seemed to be something for everyone. No vegan options but they were willing to accommodate what they could. Prices were very reasonable. The place is an amazingly large resturant and from what I could see it would be a great get together area for groups and special occasions. We left full and happy so we will definitely be returning!

We have been here a handful of times, and it either a hit or miss. Well bud, last night was one huge miss. First of all, we ordered 10 wings as an appetizer for 4 people. The wings that were piping hot were delicious. But then we grabbed wings that were ice cold. Not like just sitting out cold. It was like they were taken out the fridge, tossed in sauce and thrown in the basket cold. They were fully cooked though. I've never had an experience like that anywhere. Secondly, my husband asked for a bacon cheeseburger. Just bacon and cheese meat and bun. I reiterated that with the server twice and he even repeated it back to us. Well when we finally get our food, lo and behold it has EVERYTHING on it. My husband was hungry so he picked it off and slid the mountain of mayo off his bun onto a plate and had to eat it. We had waited long enough for what we already got. And he wasnt waiting long for them to remake it. The server said he would take it off our bill. Thirdly, Now usually I'm pretty fond of their stuffed flounder but our server said they were out so my MIL and myself ordered fried shrimp with a baked potato. The baked potatoes were cold also. You couldn't even melt butter on them and they were hard as a brick. Lastly. Now this is what just sent us over the edge. And the sole reason I'm making this post. The check. The waiter brings us our check. And he never asked if it needed to be separated. He just brought 1 with everything together. When he came back I told him that we needed my husband and i's stuff together and my MIL and FIL on a check together. He proceeds to take both our cards and after a while we realize "Hey where is this guy with our stuff" it sure has been a hot minute. Well we can see him at his station swiping our cards more than once. And then we start checking our mobile banking apps. And he has charged one of our cards twice for two different amounts. Finally he brings our cards and receipts back to us, says have a good night and walks off. Well he has to know that he swiped our card for different amounts and didnt bother to say a word to any of us. Now remember when I told you that he would take the burger off our bill? Well he didnt. I just went ahead and paid for it because it wasnt worth the time nor effort. And I didnt want to make it look like I wanted free food. My husband ate what he was given and that's that. But dont offer to do something and end up not doing it. So we get the manager over to us and explain the situation with the cards and she gets it fixed. She was nice and courteous. And very apologetic. She did her job well. The lady at the hostess area was extremely nice asked for the manager she immediately got her. And she was also apologetic and I appreciate both of them for being so kind especially when I've seen managers at other establishments be very defensive and rude. But that wasnt the case here. Just very disappointed and we probably will not come back.

Worst service ever!!! Waitress too busy prepping to wait on customer. Fries came out cold, had to be sent back. Signature sub came without garnishment had to be sent back, no refills on drinks & had to go to the register to pay. Then told the check out about the poor service, she cared about as much as the waitress did about providing service to her customer. Definitely not the establishment it was at one time, such a shame!!

The food was great, but the service sucks, I was there with colleagues today for lunch. The young lady that was serving us had a major attitude. I was nearly twice her age she forgot to say an I help you sir, so i forgot to say thank you. As I headed back to my seat she gave me an even bigger attitude with a sarcastic remark. In My humble opinion it seemed as a Caucasian she felt that she shouldn’t had to serve a black person. I’m mid 40’s and have lived in several countries that was the first time I’ve been disrespected when patronizing a business.
