I wish I could remember our waitresses name but she was fantastic. Took the time to explain the menu and answer any questions we had. She gave off the feel that she was not interested in rushing us like some servers can do. I ordered the ravioli pomodoro and added a side of grilled Italian sausage. It was so delicious! Just plain cheese ravioli in a tomato basil sauce with garlic and other seasoning. It is fantastic!

Decent Italian place in town. Last time I went I had the salmon with a Greek salad and the pesto pasta as a side. The salad was great. The salmon was good too. The salmon nor the pasta reheated well. My friend had the ravioli and said it was just ok. And our gma has the lamb. She loved her lamb chops. She spoke highly of how much meat was on the bone. I keep changing between three stars and four stars. If you had good American Italian in like Chicago or NY, then you'll understand my struggle. There's nothing bad about the food. It's just not anything to write home about. I'll go back probably anytime I have family in town but it's because it's Fayetteville. If Luigi's was in a big town, it probably wouldn't get as much play. But it's still a good option in town.

My daughter and I stopped in for martinis and appetizers after a movie. Sat at the bar. The martini menu has some unique offerings. I chose the key lime pie and my daughter had the espresso. Both were well made and delicious. The crab dip is excellant.

I try very hard to be fair in my reviews after working in the food industry for many years. Expectations always get in the way. First off the positives, the server was excellent, the food was very good. The bad, the time it took to get anything from the back end was poor at best, and the pick up of the check time was poor and then they try and force an 18% tip on sub standard service, no thank you. You need to earn a tip Luigi's... Not sure if we will go back, though the Risotto, shrimp, broccoli special was very good.

The Waitress was friendly, quick despite being busy, and consistently ensured we were being taken care of. The environment was clean, friendly, fun, and maybe a slight hint of sophistication. The food was exceptionally delicious. I ordered the hot brownie with ice cream for dessert and the brownie didn't come out even a slight bit warm. I made only a small comment about it in conversation and our waitress immediately offered to replace it and a manager spoke with me apologizing and offered to get another. It was still delicious as it was and I didn't want it to go to waste so I declined the offer, but the manager still insisted that the dessert be removed from our bill. The service from all aspects was exceptional. If I ever find myself in Fayetteville again I will be returning to Luigi's.

My visit here was work related. It was my second time here. The atmosphere is very calm and welcoming. It would also be a nice romantic place. The food is good and the staff is friendly and efficient. It's fine dining, so it's a little pricey. I'd come back.

What a great experience, used to be my favorite place a few years until a moved. The food, service and atmosphere has only gotten better. The family had a enjoyable tasty meal that was worth every penny. If you are looking for authentic Italian food, this is the spot.

This place has some amazing food and even better service. Make sure to ask for Tiffany. One of the best and most patient servers I have ever had. The food is a little on the expensive side but it is definitely worth it. Scallops and filet mignon were cooked to perfection. This is a great place for a romantic dinner or if you are craving some amazing steak or Italian fare.

Great italian restaurant to go out with the family or take someone on a date. They have a great bar and a large selection of wine. The bread and olive oil with seasonings they bring as an appetizer is delicious and you can buy the seasonings and mix it at home. Just add olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette, and the seasoning and get a good, fresh loaf of bread to dip it in.

I have been riding past Luigi's for years and I would always say I'm going to stop and try them out one day. Well, I finally did and let just say it's the best Italian restaurant I have ever experienced. The food was outstanding as well as the service. I have been telling all my coworkers about Luigi's and how they really need to take their spouses or significant other there for a great meal. I love trying different restaurants and I am so glad that I actually took the time to come and dine at Luigi's. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants great Italian food, atmosphere and service.

Listen. Luigi's has incredible food, hands down. I've been many times. But I have to say that Preston, our server tonight, was so on point, funny, knowledgable, and kind that he made our experience perfect. He might be the best server I've ever had in my history of going out to eat. I just felt like he deserved some recognition. He didn't miss a beat. Thanks, Preston, for being the real MVP. The host didn’t look up at us for a solid minute to greet us. Then the waitress knocked over the oil and my husband tried to catch it but knocked his drink on me. The waitress didn’t offer a towel. She was wearing a threaded friendship bracelet and the tassels to it kept sweeping into our dinner plates. Gross! The quality of food definitely didn’t equate to the cost of the meal.

We enjoyed our time at Luigi's. We stopped in for a couple drinks and the manager helped us select our beer flights. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Usually, when we do eat at Luigi's we also have excellent service and the food is second to none in the area. We appreciate the atomosphere and the effort and thought the owners and staff put into the food, beer, wine, and spirits menus. Luigi's is a great place to celebrate special events as well.

I hate to do this because I Love this restaurant but it’s about more than having excellent food. Our waiter was doing a fabulous job I even complimented to the wife about him. Then it went down hill! Busy night I understand, but when do you ever remove a plate from a table with food still on it without asking First?! When I spend 10 dollars on an appetizer (bruschetta) I expect to box up and take home what we don’t eat and not be wasteful! Unfortunately tonight that was not the case and I was actually very displeased! All other experiences have been great! This resulted in us subtracting 5 dollars from the waiters tip to make up for half of the food we purchased that was wasted! Hopefully he learns that this is not acceptable

Luigi's is Italian authentic restaurant with a long tradition of making excellent food. I convinced myself today by trying their lasagne which were the best I've ever tried in the whole USA! Excellent choice of beer (at the bar section they have multiple varieties of wheat beer, too). Especially if you are a smoker there is a patio where you can enjoy having a food, drink and smoke near the fireplace and above heaters. Staff is excellent as well, it full filed my expectations and more!!! Very strongly recommending this place!

My husband and I came here for our 11th anniversary and were absolutely blown away by the atmosphere, friendliness and courtesy of the staff, and the food! We usually go to an upscale restaurant in Southern Pines but haven't had great experiences the past few anniversaries we've gone there. I truly wish we'd have been told about Luigi's last year because we truly enjoyed ourselves!! Grace was a phenomenal server, our food and wine selection was paired perfectly, but most of all... the food was every bit of on point.. Truly an amazing experience and we're so thankful for that!

My fiance and I visited for the first time today and it was wonderful. The place is classy and our waitress, whom I believe was named Erica, was wonderful. We both had the she crab soup, which was amazing. We could have made a meal out of that alone. My fiance had the Chicken Florentine with garlic mashed potatoes and I had the homemade lasagna. Both were outstanding, best lasagna I've ever had. It was fantastic from start to finish and we will definitely be back. Luigi's has earned their 4.5 stars.

Let me start off by saying, I love Luigi's. I've been dining here for a long time. My husband and I are fairly regular bar guests. We have rented the patio on many occasions for events. The service and food are always top-notch. Luigi's is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in this town. This last Monday we came in around 6-7pm. As we walked in, we did our usual scan of the bar top to see if there was room to sit. It was pretty full so my husband mentioned just sitting at a table in the bar area. The hostess, who greeted us immediately as we walked through the door, was quickly irritated that there was a moment of conversation between us and we didn't respond instantly to her. I watched as she gave this obviously annoyed stare to the girl who would be our server . Then she sarcastically repeated her greeting, handed off the menus to the girl who would seat us then looked down at her hands/host stand, without another word or glance. Here's the thing, I understand it can be irritating when you think people aren't paying attention. I was in the industry for a long time and maybe that's why I pay such close attention. After we were seated, I told my husband that I did not want to stay. That entire interaction made me uncomfortable, but Sam ( our server ) was very prompt to be back for drink orders. Sam did wonderful. The rest of our experience was great. But what a disappointing way to set the tone at the front door. To the hostess, I'm sure you thought it rude that we weren't instantly receptive as we were barely in the door, that was not our intention. You may think that people aren't paying attention to your actions and body language....they are. And it speaks volumes. Perhaps try practicing a bit of tolerance and patience.

About a week ago I was in the area and wanted to try this place out I had seen a lot people going there so I was going to dine in. When I came in it was very nice people was sitting down eating as I’m waiting at the front desk one worker asks me “how can I help you”? As I’m beginning to speak, the manager comes up and say to me we closed. I’m looking around like 4 minutes ago I just seen people come in here, it’s the middle of the day, but I come in and now your immediately closed. I just smiled and walked out. I’m not sure if race was a factor but it definitely felt that way

The atmosphere is nice. Our waitress though was absolutely incredible! Katy was so knowledgeable and attentive. The food was exquisite! I had the special- the Chilean sea bass and steamed spinach and it was incredible!. I was very impressed and Katy really just put our experience over the top. And the food and drinks are amazing. Recommend for any special occasion or just to dine. My review is a bit late but here we go. I visited Fayetteville on vaycation a couple of months ago and as Suggested by management at the Red Lion Inn, I checked out the eatery my last day in town. I ordered the Manicotti, bread and shrimp. This Mancott was amazing. Since returning to Jersey City I have yet to find a restaraunt where their pasta is as good. 100 percent Italian cuisine. And just as any great restaraunt is great service. The waiter Caleb is a true gem. Perfect personality with a sincere interest in making the customer feel comfortable. My suggestion to management is to give that young man a raise or promote him to management. He is just that good, Indeed Caleb is the face of your restaraunt. This establishment gets a well deserved 5 star rating from me.

After reading all reviews, we decided Luigi's was a good place to eat while we were in town (we are from Arizona). The service was absolutely nothing special, our waitress had zero personality and helpfulness......she actually seemed miserable. Our bill for 4 was $160 with 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, 4 desserts, no drinks, water only.........and the food was mediocre at best. Veal Picatta was unimpressive and bland (my entree), the other 3 diners with me rated their meal a 5 out of 10. Pretty anticlimactic experience after reading the rave reviews.....guess you all haven't really experienced outstanding Italian food.

Nice atmosphere and great service. In all honesty, the food was average. Starting with the bread, it's plain average and boring and the dipping they've come up with doesn't help it. Italian restaurant, the lasagna was average. My mother (who isn't Italian) kills it, and honestly; Stouffers is better. Same went for the spaghetti. Maybe we should have tried the signature dishes but we weren't in the mood to spend $35 a plate. $19 for lasagna was enough for me. Highlight was the bacon wrapped shrimp. Not the bacon or the shrimp but the sauce made it good. For the price, my opinion is pass.

The food at Luigi's was good. Was a good hearty Italian meal. But the reason I can't give this restaurant a 5 is that as we were brought to our table, there was a FOUL fishy smell, and I enjoy seafood. This smell was very hard to get over throughout the meal, but the food was definitely delicious. I had the Antonio Chicken, which was a good recommendation by the server and my teammates had the ravioli and fettuccini - everyone loved their meals.

My husband and I went to Luigi's for lunch today. I had the scallop special and he had the shrimp Fra Diavolo. Both dishes were excellent as was the service. We have been to the restaurant a few times and this visit was the most memorable as far as food quality goes.

We went in with really high hopes but had a terrible experience. Their bread was fine, so I guess that’s a plus, and our server came out reasonably fast to get our order. The problem is, our server forgot to put our order in so we were waiting for food that wasn’t even being made for a half hour. I will say that our food was great tasting when we finally got it, but my fiancé got terribly sick after dinner and now we are leaving the clinic, where they told us she is probably suffering from food poisoning. So, if you like waiting forever just to get food that’ll make you sick, Luigi’s is the perfect place for you.

The portions were large and priced right. The sausage risotto was to die for.. gave it 4 stars only because we had a large party, could not be seated until half the people were there. What the hell we have a reservation. The gentleman if you want to call him that was rude when we got seated was rude. The wait staff was on point and did an excellent job.

I've been there twice and both times I've had lasagna it was very good. The Ambiance and atmosphere remind you but true Italian restaurant and decorated very nicely. From my two experiences customer service their customer service is very polite and professional attentive to your table. They have a pretty nice size bar area. The lunch prices for comparable to a good Italian restaurant in the Raleigh area which is where I'm from.
