The food is delicious, if not, a little salty. The ambiance needs some improving. Need to fix that entrance door! Usually there is ONE waitress handling the whole restaurant but she's good. But when it's crowded it really needs to be two at least.

Loved it, Angel pasta & Meat Sauce was the bomb!!! Second visit, but definitely Italian, not olive garden which is a joke in comparison to Luce!! Will return, bring& tell everyone about Luce. Server was woderful, she was totally busy, yet took time to visit each table to assure you if all was as expected. Seemingly, she was working alone, yet was awesome with her service, cleaning tables, friendliness, I commend her for her hard work. Mgrs. Ought to be proud to have such a wonderful caring person working on their establishment. Just great food, relaxing atmosphere.

Very poor customer service! The waitresses bumped into my husband twice. One of them hit him in the back with a full tray of dirty dishes and called back,"oh, sorry". But could have done a better job of an apology. The other girl had NOTHING in her hands and walked right into his chair. We had to ask several times for refills. Food was good but service sells me and they failed.

Absolutely love this place. Reminds me of my favorite restaurant back in Mass; So glad I found a local joint that I can got to. I actually went pass this place for over a year, and then finally decided to go, now I'm a regular, and I pretty much get the same waitress every time I got, which I don't mind at all, she does and amazing job; I barely have to say anything, cause she pretty much knows what I want. I've only had a pizza one time, it wasn't as great as I hoped, but it was only that one time. I pretty much get the pizza rolls or calzones instead, which are amazing. Everything else has been amazing too. Great experience, totally recommend.

Food is decent.. Service horrible.. kid's meals came out 20 minutes before the adult's.. asked the server what the deal was, her response: " I don't know what they have going on back there. It happens that way sometimes " Umm? Is that not your job to know what they are doing?! Your income depends on what happens on the dining room floor! They need to upgrade not only the decor, but also the level of customer service! Servers look sloppy and unfriendly! Marissa is HORRIBLE and rude! We will NEVER be back! Papa Gio's a tad down the road is our go to Italian restaurant from now on!

Dear Hungry Google Searchers- look elsewhere for To-Go Orders. A few months back we called in to place a to-go order. It was around 7 on a mundane week night. We were hungry and had a newborn, thus could not dine out. No one answers the phone after minutes of ringing. So we call back again, let ring and ring, no answer. At this point it’s getting late, we’d already invested a good half hour into deciding *where* to eat and picking through the menu for an agreeable meal. So, we called back a third time. This time, a girl answered like she didn’t want to answer. We ordered the chicken parm and cheese knots. She quickly tells us it’s going to be at least an hour in a manner that’s clear she didn’t want us to order. At this point we take the not-so-subtle hint and are stuck grabbing fast food. A few months go by and we want to give Luces another chance at taking our money. On the night of 12/4/18, a slow Tuesday at 7:45, we called to place a to-go order. When the girl picked up the phone she said “hold” and set it on the counter and never picked it back up. This wasn’t “hold”, this was leave the phone off the hook until they go away. They were sitting there talking and goofing off right beside the phone. It didn’t sound busy but they would not pick it back up. We sat there for 10 minutes because we had already spent the time to search for a place to eat and through the menu once again. We were determined for them to answer the phone. We finally hang up because, again, it was clear they didn’t want to take our money. We tried to call back just to check and, of course, it was to a busy line due to the phone still off the hook. I thawed out frozen meat and boiled noodles for spaghetti as that was a faster option than calling in Luces a mile down the road. SAD! If this was the first time something like this happened to us then I’d chalk it up to a mistake. I believe this is a pattern. Similar things have happened in addition to these two times. It’s always slow nights that they seem to be understaffed. I’ve accepted the hour waits on the simple orders before. I think there is a reluctance from the front girl to take to-go orders. Maybe it’s the management driving it but maybe it’s them thinking they don’t get a good tip on to-go food. With their phone service, a bad tip would ironically be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Unforgtunately, we’re finally done with them unless they reach out to make it right.

Came down for the North and South game at the high school. This place had good reviews so tried it out. I had the crispy chicken fettuccine and it was really good! Susie was our waitress and she did a wonderful job! Definitely will go back if I’m ever in town.

I was born in New York. I was raised on the ideal that your pizza crust should be thin and your pizza sauce better be so freaking good. And this place does all of that, PLUS you can get wings with a cheese pizza for $10.99? Did I mention they have the best ranch you can find at any restaurant?? This place is still a underrated dive in Lexington, but it’s time that this place gets the recognition it deserves.

Nice, reasonably priced Italian restaurant. We had the garlic cheese knots for an appetizer and they were fantastic. The shrimp Alfredo was really flavorful and they use decent sized shrimp which I really enjoyed! My husband had the Luce pasta with creamy marinara and he loved it! The servers are really kind and accommodating. Definitely go for the dinners, the only reason for not giving a five star review is that the pizza was just ok. Everything else was good.

Susie our waitress is the best waitress ever! She takes care of us from the time we walk in the door till the time we leave... she tends to all our needs with a smile and the best and sweetest attitude! We go as often as we can!!! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great food. The only complaint I've ever had is that, Luce being an obviously privately owned eatery, they suffer from certain inconsistencies... a great example of this happened to me a few weeks ago while attempting to place a takeout order. Their produce truck had not yet arrived, therefore they could not sell anything that included mozzarella within it's recipe. Besides that, I'd suggest the garlic cheese knots and stromboli. Absolutely to die for.

Enthusiastic servers, delicious food, made to order and hands down one of Lexington's hidden gems. I have recommended it to friends and they have never been dissatisfied and claim it to be new favorite. My boyfriend and I go pretty frequently and love it. We are here right now and Matthew our service is so very attentive and efficient at making our dining experience as pleasurable as he can. And just recommended it to a new comer who is recommending to friends coming into town. So come try out Lexington s Luce...it's amazing!

Okay this is my second time coming to this restaurant my server was Kelly I was making an order for carryout the only complaint is if I give you my debit card in your hand please return it back to me in my hand if you're going to hand me the receipt you do not hand the receipt under my hand while I have it out for you to put it in my hand. The date and time was May 12th 2018 at 4:20 p.m. I will say after speaking with Kelly after I got my order she did Apologize.

Good food, nice atmosphere, and decent prices. The wait staff is attentive considering how busy they are. I got 2 meals out of my bow tie pasta dish, so the serving sizes are large and prices are great. The only negative was the slamming doors every time someone entered or exited the establishment, and we were seated right near the door. That really needs to be fixed. Otherwise a great visit and recommended as there was no wait time.

Garlic knots were delicious! Everything else we ordered--from ravioli to chicken wings--was alright. Meals came out a couple at a time with the only kid's meal we ordered coming last. Service was good, but the place needs some work. There's a dirty fish tank greeting you at the door and missing trim, pieces of decor, and carpet squares in the dining room.

My mother was wanting to taste the good from this place for a while but we did not enjoy it at all. The lasagna was ok but the sauce had no flavor and it was not well done the pizza had so little sauce on it also did not taste good. And I ordered a tiramisu. And it did not its tasted anything like tiramisu no sign of coffee flavor and it was like a piece of cake with cream that's all. I honestly did not want to make this a rude comment sorry guys

My husband proposed to me here, considering it's been our favorite place to go ever since we met!!!! The food is priced fairly, the staff is kind, the managers are incredible. There are always left overs, because the servings are large, which make an awesome lunch the next day. The building is older, but its kept clean. They play sweet, family & sometimes date worthy music. All food is hand made, a lot of it mostly hand prepped and made by the managers. It's fresh and taste great. Eaten here 100's of times and have NEVER EVER been sick, and it's ALWAYS good!!!! I recommend the Garlic Knots (with or without cheese), their Stromboli, and their spicy fettuccine. YUM!

Walked in and 1/2 the tables had not been cleared. 2 waitresses for probably capacity of 100! No bus person. Ran out of lemons, ran out of salads. I ordered caprese salad. Was almost ready to leave but wanted to try the food. I should have left! The food was tasteless with a rose' colored sauce. My husband and I had 2 different dinners but the so called sauce was the same. I asked if the appetizer could replace our salads and waitress said no and offered extra bread. When she saw that I was not happy about the salads, she then said I can make it for you. At that point, I really should have left. Caprese salad was the best part of that experience! Don't bother unless you want caprese salad.

The food was delicious and I loved that it had a family owned atmosphere BUT we had the worse server there! Her name is Marissa. Not only did she look sloppy, she was not attentive. She was more concerned about pulling the tip(s) off the empty tables and hanging out in the kitchen/cash register. I’ve worked as a Waitress for 10 yrs and I know when to give servers a break but there was no excuse for her poor service. Go for the food... not Marissa.

Growing up in Philadelphia, PA I love Philly cheese steaks. Most southern versions miss the mark. Luce however hits the mark. They have a wonderful bread and the steak and cheese mixture hits the spot. I return every week for this treat.

This place is great for a good cheap lunch. I get it to go, but you can dine in. I love the pizza. It is delicious and big enough for two adults for lunch. It is a 10 inch small pizza with one topping for 6.99. 2 drinks from gas station at 79 cents a piece and you got lunch for two less than 9 dollars. Check out their lunch specials. All are delicious and all are under 8 dollars.

Staff was not friendly.....restaurant was not clean, floors dirty, bathroom was disgraceful. Service was substandard and it took a long time for our entree to come out. Staff was more interested in talking to each other instead of working and cleaning up. Very disappointed with everything here. Good thing I wasn't doing a health inspection, they would of failed. Is there a manager here, or is it everyone is the boss?

Awful!!! Started off with a dirty plate. Couldn't order tea because they were out. Server never came to check on us and before we left he came by and told us he was sorry but he was washing dishes. Hope those dishes pay the bills. I love Italian food and this was they worse I've ever had!!! All entries we ordered had very little meat. The entries were basically noddles and cheese. My son said his had no favor. Very disappointed!!!!!

This place has AMAZING food. Our waitress, Allie, was very helpful. My only complaint was when the wrong entree came out for my chicken primavera (they brought out chicken parmesan) and I had to wait while they remade it , the owner brought it out and didn't even mention he was the owner or offer apologies or compensation. Don't get me wrong the food was outstanding but come on, just a smile and an acknowledgement of a mistake goes a long way. That said, hopefully they don't mess up next time.

My family loves the food, even my 6yr old picky eater. I hope the owner reads this because you need to know what an awesome employee you have. Pam was so nice to my family, I can't think of a better waitress. You really have a great person working for you, I can't say that enough. My wife and I were so impressed by the service that we spoke about it a good majority of the way home. The world needs more people like Pam in it. This is the first time we ate in, and we will be back. This is our new favorite Italian Restaurant, beating out Villa Tronco.

The pizza was amazing. Update: Went back and waitress dumped a large pizza in my lap all over my clothes. No one came out, no adjustment to my bill and after finding out the stains wouldn't come out of my clothes the owner wouldn't pay for them he would only offer a free pizza. Won't be returning!!! Accidents happen, how you handle it defines who you are. My money will be spent in places that have the decency to treat there customers with respect.

I love to try non-chain restaurants. Food was very flavorful not like the $5 pizzas. Garlic knots and chicken parmigiana were also delicious. Portions are very big and less expensive than Olive Garden which I find bland and barely acceptable other than salad.

Our group of six sampled the Italian nachos, a calzone, several pasta dishes, and a sub. All were delicious and the portions generous. The pasta and sauces were particularly good as was the crust of the calzone... The service was great, too. Don't be dissuaded by the odd architecture of the building or the interior decor.

It isn't fancy but the service was excellent and the food very good. The portions are big so order the small sizes unless you are either sharing or planning to take some home. I had a small Stromboli and it filled the plate. Others had a Greek salad and chicken fettuccine. Both were getting rave reviews. The coffee was brewed fresh, hot, and I didn't have to ask for refills!
