Our meals were exceptional. The chicken marsala and pork osso bucco both were excellent. My wife totally enjoyed her wild mushroom raviolis. Their sauces had just the right amounts of butter, lemon and wine to perfectly compliment the meals. The marinara was spot on having been strained to remove the seeds that can hinder a fine dining experience. All in all from the decor to the knowledgeable wait staff to the presentation of the meals themselves made Lombardo's Italian a place to remember and return to. William Henderson Burlington,N.C.

Lombardo's dishes out food that tries to pass as "Italian". It isn't. A "mixed vegetables" side was straight out-of-a-bag from the freezer section of the supermarket (& were lukewarm) rather than freshly prepared vegetables ... as they would be in any quality restaurant. Service is inept, despite the overly-enthusiastic server whose behavior was uncomfortably over-the-top. Frutti di mare that was ordered without pasta was served swimming in a bowl of sauce ... like tomato soup with bits of seafood thrown into it. And the sauce DOES taste like tomato soup ... not tomato sauce. Will not return.

Just an absolutely delightful experience... from Tracy's martini to the fabulous meal served by the most personable waiter, Chris. The other waiter, Chad, was also delightful, regaling is with stories for our entertainment. It was a magical evening with, most importantly, GREAT food. A must if you're visiting Myrtle Beach and you are looking for great Italian food with lovely ambience.

Lombardo's has amazing kitchen staff, I have severe nut allergies and I couldn't find any Bistro to accommodate my needs. I had been in town from New York, staying at the Island Vista Resort and the Guest Service Rep. called over and made sure they could help me with my special requests. Lombardo's Chef Cody Jones was more then happy to help me and even created a dish off the menu for me and my husband. Great Food & Great Service! Will be recommending Lombardo's to all my friends who frequent the area and will absolutely return every time I return to Myrtle Beach!!!!

It was the worst dinner I ever had in Myrtle Beach.... I had the veal marsala and it was the worst I ever ate in my life..... The Marsala wine must have been just water because I didn't taste no wine in it.... The service was not very good either they gave me my appetizer then I had to wait 10 minutes then I got my salad then I had to wait 15 minutes for my veal marsala.... They gave me two glasses of iced tea but I had to beg for it..... they lost my business and I hope they go out of business...........

My husband & I were visiting friends in Myrtle Beach & we were in the mood for Italian so they suggested Lombardo's. We all were glad they did!! The food was delicious and the portions were very generous, atmosphere was lovely & the bread was outstanding!! We'll certainly eat there again when down that way. Definitely check it out!

I was looking for a place to eat while on vacation, and I found a good one. Service was great, everyone was very friendly. Atmosphere was very nice, a place you could go to casually eat with the family or for a romantic evening. A decent wine list for a smaller establishment, very good cocktails. All courses were delicious, and the entrees were served HOT. I would recommend 10/10 people to dine at Lombardo's.

My honest first impression when I walked in was the decor is extremely outdated so I wasn't sure what to expect. Wow was I pleasantly surprised! Our waiter, Chris, was fantastic. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and food. He was attentive and engaging and pleasant to deal with. The food was off the chain great! I had a seafood trio with locally caught seafood that was fantastic and fresh. My wife had a fillet which she said was cooked perfectly. The tiramisu for dessert was one of the best I've had. It's a nice restaurant where you can feel comfortable in t-shirt and jeans (as we were) or dressed up as others were. I would recommend if you are in Myrtle Beach to enjoy a dinner at Lombardo's. We will we back for sure next time we are in town.

The food and service was excellent. Our server went over the menu with us, and suggested the special, which we ordered. It was a fish dish - broiled grouper, scallops, & shrimp over risotto. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Our server was very pleasant and engaging, and provided excellent service. I don't know how we had missed eating here in our previous visits to Myrtle Beach, but we will definitely dine here during our future visits.

Very Disappointing!! not sure what good reviews are about. This place is average at best. Went at 4:00pm, first ones there, guy had one table, just us, and we had to constantly ask for our tea to be refilled, and I mean constantly, I don't think he filled our tea once without us asking and again, we were his only table. Food was bland and not authentic Italian that I can speak of. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip for appetizer, and it was served with round Tostito chips! Really! not baguette pieces or bread, chips from a bag. When I asked for parmesan cheese for my entrée, I was brought a small canister of parmesan ( like you would be served at a pizza place). Not fresh grated (even olive garden tries to grate some fresh parmesan). No homemade dressings waiter said he wasn't sure if they were homemade but didn't think so. Waiter was only personable when he was wrapping the experience up and then wanted to be friendly, but during the whole dinner he hardly spoke and when he did it was short answers to everything, and we had to track him down to get tea refills, was NOT impressed with the service at all. I had the Carbonara which was very bland, wife had lasagna, she said it was okay, child had spaghetti and it looked poor quality (light runny sauce), it was bland, child had chicken parm, said it was okay. Not what I think of when restaurant says it is inspired by generations of Italian dishes. I love local businesses and support them but can't get behind this one. Find a better Italian place and somewhere else to drop $100.00 on dinner. I expect a lot more for $100.00, Man I miss Rossi's, now that was authentic Italian!

This restaurant was recommended to us by the bartender at our hotel. We were here on a Saturday night around 7:30pm. We were sat quickly and the staff were very polite and helpful with deciding what to eat. My mom had escargot, a glass of Chianti, and Veal Piccata. She said they were all wonderful. I ordered the drink of the day, a peach martini that they made for several hours with grey goose vodka, the arancini appetizer (amazing), and the chicken carbonara which I was too full to really enjoy (portion size was perfect). We both had the tomato basil soup in leiu of the salad. This was by far the best tomato basil soup I have ever had. The price for the beautiful atmosphere, fantastic service and delicious food was very reasonable. I will definitely be back.

I have eaten here twice and both times I was disappointed by the service and the food. You will regret it. Just unacceptable.

Amazing Italian food, I had the seafood trio which was a special of the day. It had shrimp, scallops and grouper on risoto in a cream sauce that was delicious. I figured while at the beach it would be best to have seafood and I was right. Their alcohol specials of the day when I went were sangria which my friends had and a peach martini which I had. The sangria was okay but my peach martini was fabulous! I highly recommend it! This place was very classy and pricey so if you are looking for cheap and family friendly if go else where, but for a date night or adult night out it is the place to go.

A quiet local place in Myrtle Beach. The food was good and the prices reasonable. The calamari was better than average and the chicken parm was crispy and tasty. The biggest benefit was no waiting for table. However the food took a while to come out of the kitchen so if you are in a hurry this isn't the place for you.

What a terrible experience. Stopped in with a group of 6 on a Monday night at 8pm for dinner. Ordered drinks and a couple appetizers and 35 minutes later 1 out of 3 appetizers came out. When we asked to speak to a manager because we were going to leave, they sent the poor waiter back out to ask us to stay. We were told the delay was due to a party of 30 golfers, there was a total of 45 patrons in the restaurant, them included. Terribly under staffed and unequipped for a dinner service, none of us will be returning.

We were pleasantly surprised by the upscale and tasteful decor of this restaurant. The service is professional and friendly and there was plenty of staff that attended to the diner's needs. We ordered 2 appetizer. The first, stuffed peppers, were cooked just right with a generous amount of meat stuffing but could have used more seasoning. The second, oysters Rockefeller, was over cooked and tough. We sent them back and they were taken off the bill. Our entree was veal piccata. The veal was tender with a nice lemon caper sauce over risotto. The party next to us ordered the veal osso buco which looked amazing. All things considered it was an enjoyable experience and we will be back.

awful staff experience because they had a party of 60 at the back of the restaurant and the wait we were told for a table of 5 was 45min. Therefore, we waited 45min and they told us we couldn’t be seated because of the kitchen taking a long time with the party. Even though they had tables all set up ready to go. Clients would be leaving the restaurant very upset because they said their food took an hour to come out and the service was awful. The lady at the front kept telling us other places to eat nearby because we were not going to be seated until another hour or so. It was ridiculous!

This was one of my favorite places to eat in Myrtle Beach, but unfortunately the last time I tried to eat there, they wouldn't serve us. It was around 9:30pm, and they say they close at 10pm, but someone let us know they were randomly closed early in a not very friendly way. This is pretty disappointing to me that that staff person was rude. I personally believe if a restaurant lists a closing time, they should serve someone within reason while they are supposed to still be open. We wanted to go for our anniversary. We only had one night to go. We have visited Lombardo's many times when we are visiting Myrtle Beach, but unfortunately I am not sure I will bother trying to come back.

Appetizer, fried calamari, very fresh and good. Caesars salad was also very good. Entries less than satisfactory. The lasagna was burned on top and the chef covered it with cheese and served it. If was dry and did not taste good. I later found all of the sauce at the opposite end of the dish from where I started. The squid in the seafood linguine was tough as an old shoe. However, service was great thus 2 star rating.

For those of you who think you know what Lombardo's is all about but haven't been in a while, I encourage you to go back soon! My my, I've gone there consistently for 20 years but have witnessed a revival of sorts! While the food, as all locals know, is delicious, the menu is evolving. Chef John is adding some real passion and exploring an ingredient list that might just be endless! Soon, there will be some remodeling and I'm real excited about that as well. Anyway, stop in and let Anna at the bar greet you with the drink of your choice at their well-stocked bar, then settle in for a meal you won't soon forget!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience last evening. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the ambiance delightful. Having said all that, I do have one complaint. I ordered one of the specials (the veal O B) While I found it very tasty I was very disappointed when the bill arrived and I discovered it was "specially priced" at $46. Far above the price range of most of your menu items and the other nightly special. Apparently it was my mistake for not asking the price. The suggestion I would make to you is that the waitstaff be instructed to mention the price of the specials along with the description (especially when it is significantly higher than most of your other menu items). We have dined with you before and I'm sure we will return.

Mixed feelings about this place. Service was first rate, bread and salads were above average and my son's veal parmigiana was huge and tender. The fettuccine alfredo was below average as was my penne ala vodka - sauce too much. Plus, as several restaurants do left tails on shrimp in the pasta dishes, plus there are only 3. Chicken rollatini was decent but portion on small side. All 4 dishes were $20 so I'd say the best deal is the veal parmigiana.

As a local, this was my first time eating at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and the food was phenomenal. We had a party of about 8 and the service was fast. Everyone enjoyed their meal choice. The prices may be a little higher than other Italian restaurants in the area, but the presentation, amount of food, and taste far exceeds their competition. I would honestly recommend this place to anyone local or visiting, to come and enjoy like we did.

Was met at the door by a gentleman who very rudely asked if we had reservations. I said no and he replied well then you wont be able to eat here. I asked how long of a wait and he replied our internet is down and it will be at least an hour. We would have been willing to wait an hour but he insisted there was nothing he could do.

The decor was the best part of this place very beautiful inside. But the food was not very special or authentic. The carbonara was made with cream instead of egg... ask Gordon Ramsay about that...food was bland Service was the worst. Was without water three times...asked for something... waiter not very refined no real dinning etiquette.. asked us if we would like dessert. With out even offering what they had. Another waiter brought their table an entire display of choices ...we had to ask for the display and the choices. We waited whole he went to get the display...next thing we know he was helping other customers. We asked is he was bringing dessert... he said yea yea just closing them out....very poor service. Still now water. Also waiter only had two tables. Us 2 people and another table of 4. No excuse. Waiter was john
