I love eating here. I even had my last couple of birthday dinners here. I LIVE for their kimbap. I have to control myself from ordering more than 2 servings at a time. Their food is a taste-bud orgasm. I start getting huge cravings if I don't eat there in a couple months. I would go more often if they weren't on the totally opposite side of town. Needless to say their food is really good, and the best part are the endless side dishes. I can never eat all of my food in one sitting. Money well spent.

Ordered an item didn't it didn't taste good. I ended up orderinglike something different. I had to pay for all items. My bill was $70 bucks. The manager never spoke with me or inquired about my visit. The waiter acted as though she was scared to come back to the table. Payed with no problem. As well as tipped well.

The service was the best. I went to many Korean resturants and nothing was as close to O-Bok. I highly reconmend this place. I wish to come back and eat the galbi. Ive said this many times but the food is BOMB!!!! ❤❤❤❤ I LOVE IT. SOOO GOOOOOD

Fast service, usually quiet, and the food is pretty good. Only complaint is that some of the areas (such as the restrooms) don’t seem to be well maintained. Never really dirty, but never in good shape, either. Other than that, everything has been great.

I got the lunch not with the bone in bulgogi. It was fast and flavorful but I could tell the meat was microwaved. Fast , reasonably priced somewhat and friendly.

The lunch bugolgi was a very small portion and very dry... It had no flavor. The kimchi was sparse and had been sitting out of a while. Service was also slow and unfriendly. There are several other options in town that I think are better... I would suggest them.

Poor quality and services: 1. Galbi-tang had only 3 pieces of bones (almost no meat at all) and just a few mouth of noodles. Not worth at all. 2. The restaurant charges me $4.80 more than my signed price $34 to my credit card. I am in process of appeal through credit card. For sure, blacklisted this restaurant.

Worst service I have ever received, we ordered spicy cold noodles but we got served normal cold noodles. I let the waiter know and was told they were in fact spicy cold noodles, to which I asked where the red pepper sauce was at. He then insisted it was spicy cold noodles and gave us mustard oil. I will not be eating here ever again.

Food was good, but the side dishes were too small and they charge 3 dollars for a bowl of rice. Most restaurants only charge 1 dollar. I big bag of rice is only 10 at most. Ridiculous.

Excellent, excellent restaurant! Try the beef bulgogi, it is the best outside of Korea. Also, the side dishes that come with the beef bulgogi are equally (if not more) awesome. Sure, the decor is a little dated and it’s not the most glamorous restaurant in Columbia. But you’re not there to look at the wallpaper, are you? The place is immaculately clean and well organized. The staff is precise and agreeable.

Been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years and up until recently it's always been great food. I drive 45 minutes to eat here. Today, however, was a complete let down. My husband is ill and said he thought he could eat if I got him Korean. So I drive the 45 minutes just to get to go. He alwaysa orders bulgogi. Today.... bulgogi meat was dry, thin, and virtually tasteless. The extra lettuce I ordered to wrap the bulgogi in were tiny heads of romaine... Maybe I can use them to make salad, but definitely not make the bulgogi wraps... Which is what they were meant for in this case. $4 for unusable lettuce. Ugh! Another huge disappointment was my all time favorite from Obok... The stir fried squid. I ordered medium today. Normally I get mild and it still bring tears to my eyes but bc the flavor is normally too good to stop eating, I eat every bite. Today however... VERY very different story. The medium was not medium, and Had no flavor!! The portion was tiny... So much so, that I was still hungry. But again... The flavor being nonexistent was disappointing after the 45 minutes I drove to get what is normally the best Korean around town. I'm hoping this was a bad day, or a new cook.... But either way. Was not worth my drive or the $50 I paid for this meal.

O-Bok is not my favorite Korean restaurant in the Decker Blvd corridor, but it's not bad. It's probably one of the oldest Korean restaurants in Columbia. The food is good, lunch portions are a little small, and the atmosphere leaves a little to desire. I say, try them out, but I'll probably go to one of the other establishments on Decker.

This is mines & my families FAVORITE Korean restaurant! Anytime we're craving Korean food we come here. The Ajumma who runs the restaurant is so sweet & The atmosphere is very chill & quiet aside from a lone tv running in the far corner of the restaurant. We've gone to a couple other korean places in the area & their food IS good ( I recommend you try every place to fairly gauge your personal favorite) but not as good as O-bok in my opinion. If it's your first time going & you're not sure what to get, I highly recommend The Korean Salad or The Starter Sampler to start & The Galbi as your main dish. Made perfectly EVERYTIME. Not once has anything been mushy, burnt, under or over cooked. And remember to try EVERY banchan (side dish) that comes with the meal. Some of it looks sketchy but you won't know what you like until you try it! I'd never had Seaweed Jelly in Sweet Mayo (I know that sounds gross but it's great) before but I love it now!! =^.^=❤

O-bok is the unofficial weekly lunch place for my department at work. Hot stone bibimbop is all I ever get, although I keep wanting to try other dishes; it's just too good. I think they sprinkle crack in the O-bok Salad dressing, too.

Obok is about as close as you can get to my Korean mother's cooking. I always get the bulgolgi. They normally serve 12 side dishes at dinner, twice the amount as other restaurants I have visited. The only other restaurant that comes close to Obok is in Fredericksburg, VA.

Have tried all Korean restaurants in the area and while certain establishments may have certain dishes they prepare slightly better, my number one choice remains O-Bok. Great Korean classics, generous helpings, and a friendly staff that is more than willing to continually refill your delightful additions you get for most meals! I highly recommend the Korean Salad-- as spicy as it can be prepared!
