Not sure about those saying the lady is mean, rude, etc. The customer service was just fine for me. The 2 ladies working at the time seemed nice to me and my family. Food was your typical korean meals which were pretty good. I did order a decent amount of food for 2 adults and 1 child. Ended up spending around $80 which was expected and worth it. Everything closely reminded me of what I use to eat growing up. Completely satisfied with our meal and I highly recommend this place if you like or want to try korean food.

Kimchee is absolutely delicious and everything is always fresh made. The different types of kimchi are served with every meal and taste phenomenal. There have been reviews that say the lady running the counter is unpleasant, I completely disagree and say she is kind and helpful. I recommend this place and will keep coming back! Try the Stone Bibimbap (in the picture), it is super tasty!

Hands-down the best Korean restaurant in Greenville. The restaurant is managed by a sweet Korean lady who cooks up amazing, classic Korean fare. I haven't tried everything on the menu, but I'm working up to it. My favorites are the Jabche Bap and Spicy Squid. The restaurant also sells several different take-home varieties of kimchi, which are to die for. If you're looking for something different, this is a great place to try something new!

We are foodies and this was one of the best meals we have ever have, and hands down the best Korean. The flavors were light and complex. Spice, sweet, and savory. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. The care and skill of the cooks shown. The customer service was excellent as well. We felt well taken care of and did not feel intruded upon as many modern waitstaff can do these days. I will also add my beyond picky toddler loved the food as well.

While the building is fine, you don't go to a restaurant for the facilities, right...? One of the dishes was so salty (not spicy, salty) that we ended up washing the fish with water to make it edible. Another stew dish wasn't seasoned enough. Yet another had a two strings of meat that were tough, rubbery, and tasted so strongly of being imprisoned in a freezer that it would have been preferable to not have it in the bowl at all. The tastiest item we received was our rice. If you've never had korean food before, it's possible that you might find this place to your tastes, but if you have - avoid at all costs.

Absolutely love it. I've never NOT loved a single dish and food is cooked quickly when you need to grab lunch on the run. Recommend Kimchee Jigae, fried squid lunch, and bulgogi and bibibap, of course.

We've tried this place several times, but the worst part was always the RUDE customer service from the owner lady. The last time when we came and asked for an extra side dish, she loudly scowled at us and reluctantly brought out the food. My parents asked her why the soup didn't have the egg as depicted on the picture, and she said it was just a picture and not served in reality. How terrible! Never coming back.

Came for lunch, tried to ask for help with certain plates and what each one came with (menu doesn't have any description), the lady just shrugged and then said "um... its good". To be on the safe side, I just went ahead and ordered the Korean roll, and when I gave her my order she proceeded to snarl and say "you sure.. just that? Whatever ..." and wrote it down. Horrible customer service... food not good for the high price.

I really enjoyed the food, the lunch special was a good price, was like $8? for 2 egg rolls, rice, chicken, some potato things, and some cabbage stuff. But the service wasn't great, the lady wasn't exactly rude but wasn't nice.

My first time having Korean, and it was really, really good! And let me just say, the service was fine: I was nice to my server and she was nice to me. I'd call it no-nonsense and straightforward. I think some people should think twice before applying American customs onto foreign service providers, just saying. I will definitely be back.

Not as spicy as I would've liked, but the food is really tasty, and I was filled up by the lunch portion. I had the shrimp bulgogi, and it came with rice, kimchi, cucumber salad, bean sprouts, and two little fried dumplings. My dad had the spicy pork bulgogi and while it wasn't spicy, it was very tasty! It came with all the same banchan as mine. It looks like you can also buy large portions of some of the banchan to take home with you. Next time I'm in I'll probably get a container of the cucumber salad cause it was that tasty!

We went to my husband for lunch and I asked the owner about how big are the portion for two person? She answered me “ you didn’t ate korean food before” so ill mannered to answer me that way very un educated human being. If I can give zero star then I’ll rate what she deserved. Amazing Korean food, tastes homemade, and always fresh. I love that the owner has typical Korean side dishes like kimchee for sale because there is no real Korean supermarket in Greenville, Im used to the Hmart in GA. It is a little bit pricy but you will have a good amount of food and its delicious.

I used to go out of my way to eat here, but the service & quality have gone down hill. The service was never great, but the food used to make up for it. I can live with not having my drinks topped off, ever, but to have my food slung at me like last time was a whole different level. Treated the table of young Korean men behind us they were royalty. Maybe they were family? Maybe regulars? Either way I got the distinct impression that some customers are more desirable than others.

I've been here a few times with my family members but tonight service was really poor. The lady came and took out orders and came back with out drinks, she just threw the chopsticks, spoons and fork on our table. When she came out with the food she literally placed on there really hard and push it to the side. It was so rude. Then when we went to pay, she seems annoyed and instead of handing me my debit card nicely she threw it on the desk. This wasn't the first time I felt like she was being really rude. I went back because I love the food there but I hate her service. I prefer going in the morning when a younger lady works there. She's more professional and gentle.

My husband and I like to find Korean food wherever we travel. We happened to run into this one online and gave it a try for lunch. The food here was delicious! My husband got bulgogi and an order of dukboki, while myself got jajamyun. Everything was very authentic and well made. It was just like eating my moms. We recommend this place!

Nice little eatery for Korean food. The typical Korean sides that come with the meal are very fresh and full of flavor. The menu is varied but focused on just Korean influences; unlike many restaurants that overstretch by being Chinese/Japanese/ Sushi/Greek all in one.

Great food and service. Owner is very nice. She may not seem like she is very talkative at first but we are regulars and just love seeing her. We enjoy the food- have tried multiple dishes and each is fantastic. Very thankful we have this restaurant so close. I am Korean and I approve. I am also vegetarian and she has not ever put meat in food I ask to be vegetarian.

There are a few Korean Restaurants in Greenville. Kimchee is by far my favorite! The menu is short and sweet, filled with great food selections, and they have lunch specials!! I haven't made it in for lunch yet, but their specials look really good!! Stone Bowl Bibimbap is my go to at any Korean restaurant and this one is top notch! The sizzle you can hear before leaving the kitchen, the egg cooked to perfection, and the sauces served with the dish really round out a perfect meal! Other recommendations for noodle dishes is JapChae Bap. I may have spelled that wrong but gave it my best! That's a very good noodle dish as well. The flavors that they get into these dishes are amazing! We have also had the soft tofu soup and the kimchi soup. They weren't my favorite, but that had nothing to do with the flavor or presentation. Just not my thing! Each dinner is served with rice and an assortment of kimchi! Radish, cucumber, cabbage, and sprouts! We will definitely be coming back and back and back!!

The menu has a lot of options and the food is delicious. All the traditional foods are available and there are multiple options for sharing with a group. There is no grocery store attached, but the tables and atmosphere are nice. Definitely one of the best korean spots I’ve ever been to.

1. The others who have posted about the owner being rude DO absolutely know what they are saying, although the food is fantastic, we will not return due to the demeanor of the owner. 2. Walked in, woman kitchen cooking sees myself and my daughter yells “Have a seat!” No smile, more of a demand. I say ok thank you! 3. She approached the table throwing our staws at us and menus and walks away. 4. 5 mins later returns says “what you want to drink, abruptly returns with our waters, I say thank you, and says “you know what you want?” I say we are new to the area my 12yr old has never had Korean I’m excited to be here!” She looks and says “no?” Returns to kitchen. I’m trying to relax at this point but she has upset me greatly and my daughter is aghast at the woman’s rudeness. 5. We order, service was fast as there was 1 other family from NY she was mingling with and being very kind to, we tried to chime in with their conversation about martial arts and give the woman credit somehow, they discussed Taekwando, my daughter says I do Kung Fu, she states “Bah, KungFu Chinese, hahaha, we have no kungfu here only Korean Taekwando!” REALLY!?? Wow, this lady! She continued to befriend the other party. 6. The food was wonderful, but not worth the trash attitude!! We had the bulgolgi and chicken teriyaki bento box, if it matters.

Small intimate space located in tiny strip mall. Tight seating. Ordered spicy beef bulogi for 13.99. Presentation modest. Meal came with raw shredded cabbage and three kimchee side dishes less than an 1 oz. Service was friendly.
