The staff was very nice and the food was okay but as a couple other people have said a little pricey for what is offered. They were switching over to the lunch menu as I was leaving and that food looked very good, just did not have a chance to sample. Maybe next time..

I haven't been here for dinner, but the breakfast buffet is outstanding! The biscuits are light, the meats (sausage, ham, bacon) are always fresh, and the potatoes, grits and scrambled eggs are excellent. There is also fresh fruit for those wanting a lighter meal. Best of all, Jo Mars doesn't fall into the trap of a lot of buffets that over salt the food so you may want to add a sprinkle or two.

Old school, down home, buffet and restaurant. This place is back in the cut and truly country but it's the best buffet I've ate at in decades. This is real food that is made delicious. Just a down home place without a lot of decor but it's about the food.. Try it and I believe you will love it.

I called Jomars to place an order....like we do once a week. The cashier was very rude, and hung up on me. (I’ve never spoken with this girl any time we have placed an order.) I called back several times, and asked to speak to the manager. She hung up on me every time, refusing to get someone for me to speak with. (She tried to say she was the manager....also said she was too busy to ‘deal with me.’) We used to love this place. We ordered from here at least once a week. Now....never again. This place is a joke. Some of the staff is amazing. The red-headed cashier....mannerless, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional....not so much. I’m very disappointed in Jomars management. Keeping someone of that character employed, blemishes their reputation, and is no good for business. I hope no one else encounters this atrocious cashier, nor experiences a similar situation at this place. (She should be embarrassed....and so should the management of Jomars.)

I went to this restaurant yesterday and it was pure heaven!! Oh my! The food was so delicious until it was almost unreal. I was very, very impressed with that fact that it was Monday and I found a buffet with food that delicious!! I travel a lot to different cities and towns to find these kind of restaurants and grade their food and service!! This restaurant gets an A+ from me and I will definitely go back!!

Sometimes the food is really good. Other times it's not. The same for the service. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of buffet options in Lancaster, so we keep going back. They recently painted which makes it look a little better. Still kind of dirty though.

This Place has an extensive menu. I really enjoy there Buffet the food is very good home cooking. The Prices is a little high on the Sunday around $12 per person. We go mid week Lunch around $9. This is my number one choice for a buffet. In my opinion This beats Golden Coral hands down. The Marconi and Cheese, and Meat Loaf are the best. Off the menu I love the Ruben, on Fridays and Saturdays they have a good Prime Rib

One of the top 10 buffets I've been to. Clean, Soul food, laid back restaurant. Our waitress was super friendly and prompt. The food was delicious with everything from liver to fried pork chops. Greens, desserts, Sundaes Anyone should be able to find something they like. Prices were very reasonable 12 to 13 dollars for ayce.

This place is really "old school.". We went on a Friday night. There are specials for prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights. I ordered the small Prime Rib and it was huge. The meal comes with a trip to the salad bar and two sides from the food bar. I had fried okra and Mac and cheese. The waitress was nice. The steak was cooked to order and came with a baked potato. If it wasn't such a far drive from Charlotte I'm sure I'd dine there more often.

My husband and I were passing through the area when we found Jomar's on Yelp! We decided to give it a try, and I'm glad we did. That evening I had one of the best salads I had ever eaten. The restuarant has a nostalgic theme of mismatched model car and old Hollywood sign memorabilia. Very clean, food was really good and flavorful, and our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. The only thing that was really annoying was the music that was playing..very loud country and 80s music, not very peaceful to dine by. And it was SUPER LOUD, like a nightclub, in the womens bathroom, for whatever reason. That wont keep me from returning, BUT turning it down plus replacing the blaring music with some pleasant, softer music---maybe instrumental---would make dining a more pleasant experience. That's the only reason I didnt give them a 5 star rating.

This is a cozy big restaurant that has so much to choose from off the buffet and menu. The Prime rib is the best around. Staff is friendly and helpful and courteous and quick. My family and I just happened to visit here on a whim. We are glad we did. We made it in time for the lunch buffet, but they were transitioning into dinner. The food was awesome. They had a variety of everything including seafood and breakfast items. Our server, Terry, was the best! He never let our drinks get low, and made sure we had a great experience. We live over 30 miles away, but it's definitely on our list to visit once a month.

The food here is buffet style and is reminiscent of southern home cooking. There's something for everyone. The buffet includes a well stocked salad bar and dessert nook. The desserts seem to be more store bought than home made but there is a decent selection available. Their buffet is a bit on the pricier side and they do not offer senior discounts. However, your meal will provide a taste of Southern home cooking without setting foot in the kitchen.

They have great steaks and the deal you get with a steak dinner is better than any other steak house. You get more than twice as much food with a steak plate at Jomars than any steakhouse I've eaten. The reason for 4 stars is that when I eat from the buffet, the food is mediocre, however, I love the salad, but mostly because of the freshly shredded cheese, as no other buffet restaurant that I've been to has fresh cheese.

The food is good but you've got to know the right times to go. I don't like last night's left overs. They put up what's left from the night and put it out first at lunch. So I would wait an hour after the dinner starts to let the old get eaten. John is the owner. Nice guy to the customers. Kinda hard on the help. Specifically after waking you up from a stiff few drinks... All in all decent food and nice wait staff.
