Preparations not that great for the Thai food.... at least the one we tried.... if u are looking to satisfy the craving for a good Thai food then I will not suggest this place ... although some things were great... like the vegetarian dumplings were amazing ... but the red curry and chicken basil were average... Thai ice tea is definitely something that you do not want to order here as it's very watery.. but the staff was very nice and location not too bad...

Small nugget away from the hustle of the grand strand but like many places on 9, Jay's Fusion is high quality, moderate portions, and moderate-to-low in price. I mean 1/2 price chicken hibachi! Delicious flavors too. Their spicy tuna roll was exquisitely fresh and had very fresh taste and no rubbery, ancient seaweed wrap either. My friend ate a Bento box which she described as deeply tasty. A very pleasant server, non intrusively stayed in tune with us. There is a small room for traditional dining also! Big recommend.

Always good and quick service. Food is always delicious and exactly as I ordered. We eat here regularly. They have such a variety of things to choose from, since they serve a variety of foods of various Asian origins. I never have to get the same thing twice, even though I get the hibachi a lot. That is manly because they have teriyaki tofu as an option for hibachi and I am nervous about asking about substituting tofu in other dishes. The sushi is very good and an amazing price.

Gave this place a 2nd chance and was even less impressed. Have now tried their sushi, pad thai and hibachi. All were underwhelming, but the human hairs I had to pull out of my chicken pad thai really sealed the deal. Disgusting.

Also try their red bean ice cream or boba tea - there are so many different things to eat here! It has all been delicious! This is my husband and my favorite place to eat. The service is great and people who work here are wonderful! You'll love Jay's too!

Ordered $40 worth of take out. Two sushi rolls were day old at best. Avocado was brown and tempura shrimp was soggy. Also ice cold which freshly rolled sushi isn’t. Crab Rangoon was very browned n obviously twice fried. Shumai tasted like something you buy from grocery frozen section. Lomein was was like thick spaghetti noodles n greasy and fried rice was bland and tasteless. Tried a bite of everything and threw it all in the garbage where it belonged

A hidden gem for asian food. Chinese, Japanese, Thai and more. The pork goyza was freshly made and fried to perfection. My Asian wife has raved about this place, which speaks highly of the foods authenticity. It is also reasonably priced.

It was late and was looking for something outside of normal fare. Tripped over a good experience. Mango boba tea, King Dragon roll, mixed satay, shrimp with lobster sauce, crab rangoon, Tom Kha soup with shrimp were all winners. Would trip over this spot again on purpose.

Their sushi is fresh and always welcome prepared, the soup is hot and flavorful and the salads are always crisp and delicious. I try to stop here for lunch any time work brings me to the Longs area. My husband and I had dinner here last night. Our experience was great! The establishment was clean and attractive. The hostess and waitress were helpful and friendly. And the food was delicious!! Very fresh, better than usual quality ingredients used to prepare the meals. I ate the steak and shrimp hibachi and the shrimp were large and prepared perfectly, as well as the steak, which was very tender. The sushi was awesome and freshly made. Overall, I would give this establishment an A+!! Highly recommend you try this!

This is my favorite Asian restaurant. Great staff. Excellent freshly prepared food with a large menue. They are also willing to modify any order to suit your personal preferences. Asian owner speaks Mandarin yet is very fluent in English and easy to understand. Try them!

Every time we have dinner here we are quickly reminded why we keep coming back. This is not your typical place to get the usual. They offer the usual but here it’s amazingly delicious It’s sooooo fresh. We just ate huge portions of hibachi chicken and rice with beautiful pieces of chicken. Rice is great. Cucumber avacado salad to die for. Sweet friendly staff. Out of 1 to 10. I’d give them an 11

My husband and myself have been frequently eating at Jays since it's local to our work location. Both eat in and take out. The food has always been wonderful just as the owners and staff. I have included A photo of my lunch today (Bento Box) in the gallery section. I like the California rolls in the lunch box but seemed to always fill up before I finished them so I would leave them. The owner noticed this and suggested one day that I let him deep fry them as they do sometimes. They were so wonderful..so I order those now. ;) There is extra work involved for them but they don't seem to mind at all. Sometimes with take out I feel like they are MORE than generous. One portion feeds two people! We visit in the evenings and weekends also, not for the convenience but for the same service and great food that keep us coming back over and over again. If you are looking for great food and a staff that is attentive and friendly..Jays is the place to go!

I’ve lived in the area for about 15 years & decided to give this restaurant a try for the 1st time. The food was great until halfway through my meal I found a LONG BLACK HAIR. Trying not to make a scene or sound rude, I called a woman over and explained the situation. she then started yelling at me, saying that it was my hair, OR that I was lying about finding it, and even went to the extent of bringing all the employees AND THE CHEF over to my table and examining the hair to compare it to theirs just to try and prove that I was making up a lie to try and get free food... keep in mind me and the person I was eating with are both BLONDE, so it was not my hair. & Being a fairly reasonable person I decided to offer to pay for the drinks and the soup that I had gotten but i did ask if I could have my hibachi entree taken off. (Big deal like a solid 7 bucks?) The staff made a huge fuss about this, saying that we were thieves and trying to get free food from them & yelling to each other in another language, obviously talking about us. Keep in mind it’s not a high end restaurant and I had every intention of paying my bill which would have only been about 20 dollars total. & I usually tip at Least 25%. I was so embarrassed that I had even said anything about the hair since nothing like this has happened to me at any restaurant ever before. Long story short I left the restaurant almost in tears because I had been verbally attacked by the staff & paid for all my other things I had purchased whether I finished it or not. Needless to say I will NEVER come back to this restaurant.
