Here you will be able to see all the reviews of people like you who are purchasing the products and services of J Peters Grill & Bar - Interstate Blvd (Restaurant) around South Carolina area.
Right now the business has a rating of 4.2 out of 5 and that rating has been based on 928 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is quite good, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the score is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Bar & grill.
Pretty cool spot. Food was good. Drinks were perfect. But kinda has a vibe like it's a poor person's idea of how rich people eat. Prices are very reasonable though.
Great salds. Great entrees. LUNCH is definitely worth it. Many entrees for $10-12 with salad & 1 side. Well worth a trip.
Great food. Blackened chicken Alfred is amazing
Great food and we were able to make reservations for after graduation. The prime rib is always delish
This was one of the worst dining experiences ever!! Not only was I brought out the food that I totally didn't order, after waiting for a ridiculous period of time, but my wife was already finished when the waitress came out and said it would only be ten more minutes.long story short, I went home with no dinner after paying 50.00 for my wife's.no apologies, nothing.not only will I not recommend them but will deter anyone from going here.
Not as good an atmosphere as the former building. Very industrial and loud. No decor. My wife and I went early on New year's eve and the service was pretty slow. Probably understaffed, as they weren't seating all tables. Food was very good and the waiter was nice. Not a terrible place to eat and drink with friends, but not a date night destination.
Prime rib and cheesy mash potatoes was delicious, FYI they dont take reservations for large dining room.
Food was cold, 11 oz Sirloin and loaded mash potatoes, and it was also well done, dry and flavorless, when it should have been med. Well. I will not go back again. Other members of my party had cold steaks, as well. It was a special occasion, so nobody wanted to complain and disrupt the event. One of the guests had the fish platter, which was undercooked and was left uneaten.
Wonderful service and amazing food! Logan was very charismatic and nice!
SALADS ARE THE ULTIMATE HOUSE DRESSING. IS THE. VERY BEST.
This was my first visit to J Peters, and it was an excellent experience!! The waitress Kaila H was kind, gracious, and very professional! Her service was icing on the cake!!
Food was delicious. Our server was excellent. Location is perfect for those of us at the nearby hotels.
Didn't dislike. Just wasn't what I expected BUT THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND THE PORTIONS WERE CRAZY
Good food, early bird good prices. Close to our home.
Service is aweful and the food wasnt great
Great food and service. Offer standard and unique selections of meat and seafood.
Flies! My wife and I were seated in a smaller area off the main dining area near a window, but not for long. There had to be, and I'm not exaggerating, thirty flies on the inside of the window near us and the one next to it. The hostess, when notified of the problem and asked to be seated elsewhere, obliged. We also noticed several flies on the ceiling. The service was good. No problems there. The food was as we expected it to be, but nothing to write home about.
We love both locations in Anderson! The food is amazing and the service is always wonderful. We're never disappointed.
Went here for lunch early on a Sunday and they sat us in the bar section. Our waiter was awesome. He was very friendly. The food was good not great. I ordered the shrimp platter and it was a bit too salty, but the salad and the croissant were delicious. One person in our group ordered the J Peter's chicken, and it was extremely dry and her mashed potatoes were gluey. However, our waiter was nice enough to get her another plate of chicken made and brought her a hot baked potato with it, much better! He always kept our drinks filled and was very attentive but not annoying. I will say that it is really loud in here, and we usually go to this one because the one in downtown is even louder, even when they aren't busy.
Great service. We had a group party so we were in a room.
Wonderful place to dine. Atmosphere in restaurant was relaxed and pleasant.
There's a variety of appetizing meals. Restaurant has ample aisles for patrons and servers.
Great food, good early bird specials. The only delta is the noise. It's hard to have a table conversation.
Still the best gourmet burger around.
Clean. Salad had too much dressing and was supposed to be on the side. Shrimp too salty. Croissant doughy. greens were good. Other friends foods were fine. Drinks were empty. Bill slow
Prime Rib is the best I've ever had!!
This was my first visit. Very nice waitress and the food was great! The shrimp is the best I've ever tasted from a restaurant to be honest. I stole one off my man's plate
A great place for a delightful meal.
It's a one the best in Anderson but it takes them like 30 min on one plate
The service was not good, the beer was hot. The special sauce on the bbq chicken nachos was sweet baby Ray's.
Nothing to choice from and way to much money at least we got a free tea.
The waitress and hostess were friendly, helpful, and the food came out in a timely manner,. The food was good.
Not what I expected. Restaurant had an odd smell inside. I was picking up a salad to go. Was not offered anything to drink while I waited. The salad per the menu was mixed greens instead it was iceberg and lots of the white iceberg. Not cut up well. Very difficult to eat as to go given the large pieces of lettuce. Steak was more rare. I ordered medium rare and it was cold and hardly seared. Quite disappointed I don’t think I would go back. Not quiet the mixed green salad I expected.
Love their chicken strips & house salsa with house dressing. Good food.
Very clean. Large portions. I would definitely go back again
They can’t even be bothered to pick up the phone for a to go order. They supposedly transferred me to the bar not once but twice and nobody would pick up.
Had the blackened salmon with a salad and house dressings. The salad is amazing! Salmon was a little more cooked than I prefer, but very well seasoned. Croissants are the best anywhere!
The customer service was excellent and the food was definitely on point.
Dont understand bacon grease dressing need new house dressing need healthier at least Clemson blue cheese if u dont already serve sorry salad was not fresh watery collards need some attention bland Chicken fingers great as usual beer good waiter great my first negative please forgive just a bad night for chef with all respect because my daughter is a chef
We love this place. It is kind of pricey. The cheese dip and chips is the best I've ever had! Employees are friendly
Love the food there. Have eaten there several times and I have never been disappointed with the food. Servers are not always the best but sometimes has to do with how busy they are.
Great food, exceptional service, large friendly staff, wait time short on a Saturday evening. Modern decor, dim lighting, open kitchen. Great for a casual date night. Our favorite in Anderson.
My family and I truly enjoyed the experience this evening. Everything from the food, service and atmosphere was perfect. The manager Page was absolutely wonderful. She was so polite when we asked for this or that and was on top of getting it out to our table. Page definitely made the evening so much more than just going out to eat!
Still just as delicious and friendly as my last visit! The waiters and waitresses are kind and do the classic "Service with a smile"! Definitely the place for fancy dining and family gatherings.
Tried to pass off a Sirloin as a Filet Mignon. Gets 5 stars for being the stupidest chief (sarcasm). Don't go here if you a good stake .
The prime rib is delicious! The salads come with croissants which are also delicious. I wish I could come back soon, but we were just passing through. Best stop ever.
Went on Valentine's, and I had a great time with my wife and son. The food was delicious
I can't really give a bad review to this place considering I haven't actually eaten the food. I came here on graduation day with my brother who had just graduated. It was super dark inside the restaurant and me and my family left because they said it would be an hour and a half wait. One of my older brothers goes here all the time on Sunday's after church. So, it might be a good restaurant but, I couldn't fully tell you.
Usual uniform same, procedure coffee, service Seating
Always have great food and great service at this location. Black and bleu salad is my go to. Daughter likes buffalo tender sandwich and husband enjoys prime rib sandwich.
Haven't ate here yet but the service was great
Attentive service with Good food. Traveling with two Golden Retriever Dogs so outside seating at a dog friendly establisment was important to us when meeting up with friends. Differant staff would check when passing that dogs water needs were addressed during our visit.
The Prime rib was awesome. I'm not a big red meat eater but I had to try it. No regret a d will do it again. It was cooked to perfection and could be cut with a fork.
Hands down one of the best steaks I had ever and for sure the best service you will ever get. Steak and food was ready before I finished a short jack and coke. Amazing 10 stars in my book !!!
It was like we went to a kindergarten play ground! The parents in there let their children run around like a bunch of chickens with their heads chopped off. No parenting skills at all! I've never seen such misbehavior in my life! Management didn't seem to care that the children were rolling in the floor, climbing all over the tables and disturbing the other patrons. I will say the food was good and the service was Okay. We will not be back. Great playground for the kids and parents who doesn't care how much their kids misbehave!
Good food! A little slow when serving a group.
MONEY WASTED! The price of the food exceeds its quality! My sirloin steak was so tough, I only ate one bite and was done. The yellow rice was too salty to eat, the ranch fries were overcooked and our house salad did not have any mixed greens as the menu states (just a bowl full of iceberg lettuce with a small amount of toppings)! Our waiter was excellent though!
Great food and great staff. Keep doing what alot of resteraunts are not doing. A great job. Thanks
Service was excellent, seated within a minute of getting there and drinks taken instantly. Food cane out extremely fast and was excellent, waitress was nice.
Never got anything there that was bad
Lots of food with their lunch special. Good bang for your buck.
The service was good and the food was ok.
Excellent service and the food was delicious! I had the shrimp/flounder combination with a baked potato. It was crispy and not greasy at all. So good!! And the house salad that was served as a starter was so good, cold and fresh, and perfect the house dressing. We enjoy visiting this restaurant when friends are in the Anderson area. It is a perfect place to meet since we come from Greenville.
Strange place, very minimalist decor, food is regular greasy stuff. Due to lack of carpeting and no decor it was very loud.
Great food, Great People. But if you don't mind a noisy place it's a Great restaurant
Even though it was very crowded on a Sunday, we got great service and good fresh food. We have eaten here a couple times and never a complaint. Food has always been great.
Food here is excellent as is the one downtown Anderson. Plan to wait a while at this one if u have more than 4-5 in your party (we had to wait an hour to seat 10). They only have a couple sections for a larger party. The one downtown seems to have more options for seating & have never had to wait more than a few min, even at busy times. Service seems to be a little bit slower here than downtown too. Other than that, food at both in Anderson is AWESOME!!
Twice Yolanda was my waitress. She took pride in her appearance & uniform. She was genuinely courteous, helpful, & knowledgeable, about Menu entries. Yolanda was on que, with refilling my water with Lime. I appreciated that, regardless of having worked, 12 hours in 90 degree heat. She was on que with her service without being either bothersome, or nonexistent. The Food was always very good. I can't say that for the other two waitresses I had on two other occasions. One was thin, well fit, brunette, who smiled but, was obviously annoyed by anything that she needed to do, & the other was shorter, & slightly plump. She was nearly nonexistent.
