We read the reviews online and decided to stop in. We were so glad we did. It was a delightful experience. The food was phanominal and taste like grandma's cooking! The wait staff was very pleasant and prompt. We will definitely be making another stop in on our trip back to the beach. Thank you Genesis for the GREAT EXPERIENCE AND FOOD!!!!

I wish I could give it 10 stars!! Everything was great! The food was amazing... the bar was stocked and the food was hot. The sweet tea and lemonade was sweetened just right! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, everyone was super friendly and attentive to us! Rakoya was a great waitress!! I loved her!! She was so sweet!! And that lemon pound cake!! OMG! It felt like I was in my grandmother’s kitchen! Great first-time experience!!

My family enjoyed it but I feel like I wasted $11 well $10 since water cost me $1. My food that I did select wasn't even worth trying to eat because I just didnt feel comfortable eating in place that looks like they were renting it for a day. I wasn't expecting a buffet line to get my food. I wasn't expecting to have to pay $1 for water. I wasn't expecting the none restaurant interior at all. My sensibilities were so disturbed that I stayed on my phone while my family ate. I'll just wait til I get to an actual restaurant.

Best soul, comfort food ever! I traveled over 75 miles just to go to dinner. Food was so good I carried out for dinner at home the next day. If this place were closer, I would eat several times a week. I went on a Sunday, the place had many diners seated. There was a very long take out line. Service was buffet style with almost every vegetable you can name, beef stew, pork, chicken, chitterlings, fish, variety of BBQ meats. Food was very attractively presented and the buffet was under constant scrutiny by the staff, cleanliness, health & safery procedures were impeccable. The food containers were wiped & cleaned almost after each person served themselves. I was impressed with the entire presentation, and upon the first forkful of food, WOW! Just about every food you could think of was available. Take out is weighed and priced accordingly at $5.50 per pound. You will not have to use any salt & pepper or seasoning. All the food offered is seasoned to perfection. Will return every chance I get. I've referred them word of mouth and I order my take out to be brought to me by whomever is going up there. If you like really good old fashioned southern food, this is the place. Delicious!

One of my favorite places. I've been visiting every Sunday for the past 2 years! The 5 star is for the food. The service is nice and friendly too. Best food I've had in a very long time. Don't let outside of building detour you. It really doesn't look like a restaurant, but once inside the aroma of grandmas cooking takes over. The all you can eat becomes a challenge for your stomach.
