A little on the pricey side but definitely worth it. Great menu. Excellent service. Lamb was perfect. Generous pours from the bar. Go early in the evening during the summer, or wait forever.

Frank's has a cozy classy atmosphere, friendly staff, and phenomenal food! I highly recommend the low country spring rolls appetizer and the lamb chops are delicious. My family also had the dry aged pork chop and dry aged strip which were both wonderfully tender and had the smooth nutty flavor you only get in a perfectly dry aged cut of meat. The special was seared scallops on a bed of risotto, and no description could do them justice because they were absolutely to die for.

One of the little things that not many places get right is refills and the waiter repeatedly did that which was very enjoyable. Filets were outstanding and I would highly recommend going here

Had the G.O.O.P., house salad, and braised ribs and everything was phenomenal. While I don't live in Pawleys I would vacation here every year just to visit Frank's!

I spend a lot of time in Pawleys Island, and for a year I rode back and forth past Franks daily. From the outside it looks like a really conservative little old school place. However, you can't deny a constantly packed parking lot. So we visited in the winter and dined inside. It was nice. A solid 4 star experience with great food and quaint atmosphere. However, this spring we visited and sat outside. Now I see what all the crowds are about! The outside is just enchanting. The tents, lighting, music, food, just an enchanting evening. This place will now be on our short list.

Food and service were excellent. They seem to have expanded seating capacity by putting up large event tents and using large space heaters. So, in late March, you might feel a chill. Several customers had jackets on. Would not prevent me from going back. Price was a bit high, but in line with the quality of food and service.

I can't rate this location. It's very pretty on the outside we walked around there were wine glasses that were left on the bar there were lights on but nobody responded to us so we left I think it was closed but they just didn't pick up or left it as is I'm not sure so I can't rate it

Absolutely amazing! See photo for my wife's first bite of her favorite meal, at her favorite restaurant. Her Scallops and my Flounder was cooked to perfection. Food is unmatched in the grand strand area. Service is top notch. Is it too hot to eat outback? NO! We were comfortable on hottest day of year so far. And yes, hers was the scallops from the inside menu, you can do that here!

We had a fabulous dinner at Frank's Outback! It was my mother's birthday and Janie, our server, made it really special! We shared a brussel sprout salad, (the picture is of half of a salad!) and each had a pizza. We actually only ate about a quarter of our pizzas and brought the rest home! I had the chicken and shrimp pizza which was delicious and my mother had the veggie pizza. They switched out the pesto sauce for a tomato sauce for her. Also it was pizza night so we got a 20% discount on our pizza which was unexpected. Janie also brought my mother a 14 layer caramel cake with a humongous sparkler in it! It was delicious and a real treat! The fireplace is delightful and all the little twinkling lights are beautiful. There was also a jazz Trio playing who were very good. It could not have been a better night!

A special family dinner favorite. Always excellent fish and steak dishes. There is an inside restaurant and a very large wedding tent style bar and dining area out back. I think they may book separately with the outside area being "Frank's Out Back". It's very nice out there, they have heaters for the winter time.

This was a family return to Frank's. We went annually several years ago. This is their 30th anniversary year and we had been there their first summer. It was as good as it was last time we were there. Members of the party had clam pasta that was reported as excellent. Grouper cheeks were flavorful and tender. The crab cakes were excellent and the succotash underpinning was even better. One had hoisin coated yellowfin. He was a bit thrown by the sauce but the tuna was tender and delicious. All around no complaints about any of the mains. We had salads that were excellent. The shaved Brussels sprout salad and the Greek salad. For appetizers we had pimento cheese and the deep fried deviled eggs. Again both excellent. A nice craft draft selection. Service was friendly, efficient and quite well done.

Whenever we are in Myrtle Beach, we stop into Frank's for dinner. It is a perfect spot for a date night. The atmosphere in Franks Outback is especially nice. There are many secluded places to eat, fireplaces, and fire pits. The food is very good. The steaks and sides are fantastic. One of our absolute favorite places to go.

We ate in the main dining room and 2 of us ordered 4 small plates to split with salads. Oh My were they delicious! And they weren’t that small! Frankly two delicious small plates are less than most entrees and you get a wonderful variety! We’re coming back on our next visit to MB. BTW, one of our party was gluten free and waiter was very accommodating and even went to kitchen to make sure one of the specials would work.

We've gone to Frank's Outback several times or the last 15 years or so. Love the atmosphere and the service is great, but the food is just perfectly "fine". This last time, I was disappointed that having gone online to check out the menu, neither of the choices I was excited about and looking forward to were on the menu anymore. I understand that menus change, but if you're going to post them online, you need to keep them current. I feel like the reputation of Frank's/Frank's Outback has out-paced their execution in recent years and for the money, there are too many other, fresher options to choose from to return.

Seems to be the go-to place for Pawleys well-to-do; just a bit uppity for for a vacation dining experience, unless that is what you want. The atmosphere is cool but the night I went was very loud.
