REVIEWS OF Fat Hen IN South Carolina

William Blake

Friendly staff, the food looked great however it wasn't something I'd good back for. More so the people and atmosphere.

Preston Schleinkofer

We ate here for Brunch on Sunday, 8/4/19. The Chicken Fried Steak is the best, as well as the Shrimp and Grits. The service was also top knotch!. We highly recommend this great restaurant.

David Rosensteel

Really good food and great friendly service. Need to try!!

Joe Christian

Very good food in a friendly atmosphere. Went with four adults and a toddler and really enjoyed our experience. The fried squash blossom appetizer was delicious, the scallops were very good, and the wine list was very reasonably priced. Definitely a place to remember for future visits.

Allen Hebert

Food..Atmosphere..Fair price..Excellant wait staff..Just all around a very nice place..

Elizabeth Carpenter

My favorite place for brunch! The service is always great but the food is the best I've had since moving to the Charleston area 2 years ago.

shatia hayes

My expectations were high since I was in Charleston and boy they did not disappoint! Really enjoyed my food and the service was choice! Had a wonderful meal with a friend in such a nice atmosphere. The location is very fun and the decor is unique, great place to get some local food.

Adam Harrison

Fat Hen is overrated. My coworkers had been raving about it for weeks so I decided to give it a try and I was not impressed. The atmosphere and service was amazing, but the food was mediocre. It was extremely overpriced and not worth the drive. Our bill came out to $70 for two people and I didn't even finish my meal because it was so bland. I'd recommend saving your money and time ( because the wait is so not worth it ) and venture out to one of the other great restaurants on the island.

Marty McDowell

Nice casual place, food was great service was great, cake was dry. I had the beef short rib, it was so tender, great flavor!

Myrna Helikson

Great service and food, only beef I had, was the limited choice of omelets.

Russell Townshend

I ate here with a fairly large party the day after Thanksgiving. The food was very good. The mussels were excellent. I enjoyed the chicken in wine. Service was laid back and pleasant. Recommended.

Abby Matthews

Overpriced and the collards have too much vinegar, more southern than french food and the service was so-so sad too say i was disappointed. Also very pricey, $80 for two meals that were a 5/10

Fat Hen serves delicious French inspired food. We try to dine here every year when visiting Kiawah, as it is only about 30 minutes off island. Last night we had the mussels in the tomato broth - delicious! Make sure you have plenty of bread to sop up the broth! We also had the escargot which are tender and served in a delicious garlic butter. I only wish the portion was bigger, as I could have eaten the whole thing. The salad special was bibb lettuce with strawberries, shishitos and cheese in a blackberry vinagrette. Fresh and flavorful. I feasted on The Rib, a giant short rib that had been braised, then grilled, then topped with pomegranite BBQ sauce. Scrumptious. We also had crabcakes, duck confit and the salmon bernaise, all were hits. The bread pudding dessert was loved. The cheescake was a bit of a miss...the pretzels on the crust were a weird rubbery consistency. But by that time, we were stuffed and ready to roll. We plan to return next year if not before!

leslie provost

Fabulous food and Great service. Thanks Luke. You were great

Cording Cascade

Food and service is always fantastic and friendly.

joan bonaparte

Food and service we're great!!

Raymond Wright

A great brunch! Great mimosas too.

Jen Webb

Excellent service and delicious food!

B.Colin Landrith

Teneia is an AMAZING server, her smile and personality makes the dining even more of an experience. The food is of course fantastic (small plates will not break the bank and same quality you expect from Fat Hen). If you have a chance ask for Teneia, her laugh will leave an impression on you!

Fraser Henderson Jr.

Had done lots of research on where to go with out of town guests for a celebratory brunch, and found this recommendation. Perhaps the popularity may be overwhelming the ability of the kitchen to keep up with orders, and the staff seemed over-stretched and disinterested. Food was fine, not worth the wait.

Joyce Schneider

Great food. Great service and unique atmospher. And nice prices.

Joseph Richter

The Fat Hen is the greatest restaurant in the greater Charleston area. You just have to go if you're around! Everything that they serve tastes and you can't go wrong with what you order. I recommend the Shrimp and Grits, or just getting the grits because they are amazing!!! They are a blue cheese, bacon grit recipe that is just out of this world. I could go on for days and nights about how good these grits are. I've been coming to this restaurant for five years and have never had a bad meal. Go to the Fat Hen and get yourself some grits, or anything else that strikes your fancy.

Elsa Inlow

Always cozy atmosphere and perfect food and service!

Karen Taylor

Nikki our server was great, food was excellent. Mussels awesome.

kat blankenship

Rachel, outside Coop bartender/server is so personable, professional, and attentive with fun personality, even when it got super super busy. Awesome food and atmosphere.

Sharon Seago

Good low country foods with French twist

Anna Alston

While visiting the Charleston area during a weekend in October we needed to find a place that would have a menu to accommodate the taste and diet needs of both individuals....Fat Hen was the choice. Food was delicious, the locals patronized it and customer service was in line with expectations. We ordered takeout and dined in....quality preparation of food was provided in each instance, Thanks!

Joan Messner

The food was amazing. Fish was so fresh and done to perfection. Everyone's food was exceptional. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable...Great atmosphere!

Luke H

Over seasoned and salted! Definitely not a dinner spot. Haven’t had their brunch so I can’t speak to that.

Orlando Smith

Food was good but not great. Was expecting more due to great reviews. Staff were also not very pleasant (could have been due to how packed they were).

Bernadette Faretra

Always great food and service, cannot go wrong on the specials

Myrtle Vaughn

The food is fresh and local so it was incredibly tasty. Menu is based on what's in season so a nice variety. I had the cheese plate before my meal and it was fantastic. I dream about the Cherry type compote that came with the cheese. I would recommend making reservations as this place fills up fast.

Mike Ladd

Absolutely fantastic food. Get a reservation. Without one, the wait can be long. Not the place to bring in a party of 12. Perfect for 2 to 4 people. Holds its own with any Charleston restaurant. Seriously talented chefs here.

Caryl Lloyd

Wonderful and relaxed in a low country way, excellent service and sumptuous food. Simply the best.

Jacob sliwinski

Great service, Fantastic food!

Anna Bunch

Stone crab claw special was AMAZING! Still my favorite restaurant in Charleston!

Lee Von Hofe

The food was fresh and very tasty. Sadly, their gift card reader has been out of service Monday. That in my mind is to many days with the reader being out of order. We chose the restaurant because of our gift card that we wanted to use.

Stephen Mangiulli

Delicious food, excellent service. On the pricier side but you can have a great meal for a reasonable price if you forgo apps and drinks. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience low country cuisine with a twist. Never been dissatisfied here. Absolutely love the Fluffy Mud Pie for dessert!

Dan G

Second visit. Very good. Popular even with locals.

Matt Burton

I recommend the specialty bread every time.

Crystal Adams

The food is fabulous! Such a quaint family owned restaurant. Will definitely be back!

Ksenia Dowty

fantastic! the place was crowded on Monday night at 9 PM when we got there. our waitress was pleasant, polite, very competent. loved the wine. They have 4 kinds of mussels. what a treat!

Alexander Golovlev

Really good French and Creole style cusine.wait can be a little long on weekends, so reservation are recommend. Food is great though.

R Tracy

Wow! What a gem. My husband and I took my parents here for brunch and we were so pleased with the food and service! The menu offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch choices. My husband was even able to find a few gluten free options!! I would highly recommend making a reservation.

Tony Oxendine

Great restaurant. Food is delicious. Staff is wonderful. A must-have when my wife and I visit Charleston.

Brian Rowe

Fantastic. It's a little of the beaten path for folks visiting downtown but totally work the trip out to John's Island. We were there for Sunday brunch. Portions are huge and specialty cocktails delicious.

Mark Hinkel

Food selection can satisfy any taste...the servers are knowledgeable and are very happy to help. The special wine selection is a bargain. This is a real gem!

Mark Bruce

Great atmosphere, I recommend the shrimp and grits. My wife loved the squash rice. Alex was our server, he is friendly and knows the menu well. It is a good idea to make reservations, you can do that on the website.

Ryan talbot

Good French style restaurant. Great Coq Au Vin and seafood dishes like flounder and swordfish. Bread putting is fantastic. Bone marrow on bread is sooo good.

Johdie Lee

Dinner and the service was absolutely on point!!!

Robin Clark

My f i rst impression of the reataurant was that I was in fir a really great meal. The decor and atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. We did not have a reservation but did not have to wait fir a tabke. I believe it was because it was early evening because by the time we left, there was a wait. They have a fully stocked bar and offer.some signature drinks. The wait staff was excellent and no complaints on waiting to have our gkasses refilled or getting our food. The food though, for me, was lack lustre, a bit boring. Perhaps everything else set my expectations higher than they could deliver. There was nothing I ate that would make me want to return any time soon. All in all, it was just okay.

Pat Roe

Food was great. Servers were attentive. Can be loud inside though.

Andrew Dockum

Best brunch in Charleston.

Mandy Maddox

They use Texas Toast for their French toast sandwich. It was so soggy I couldn't pick it up. Won't go back! It's supposed to be a French place..

Chris Marchetti

Comfortable ambience. Nice selection of menu items and good drinks. Service is friendly and knowledgeable.

Raymond Diggs

It is dark. But the food is good. My wife had brisket. I had swordfish which was fantastic. The escargot and She crab soup were both rich and tasty. They are pretty busy, but we didn't have a wait.

Taylor Thomas

From beginning to end I was absolutely delighted by everything! I couldn’t have imagined a cozier setting; with the restaurant tucked behind a row of trees, an inviting porch swing, and rustic kitchen decor including benches with pillows inside. All the staff were very friendly and I had the best lemonade I’ve ever had, not to mention the complimentary bread that we enjoyed. My date and I both loved our meal here (especially the fried green tomatoes), and we both left with a smile.

Michael Mefferd

This place is a treasure for John’s Island. One of my favorite places in the Lowcountry to dine. Nice indoor and outdoor bars and outdoor seating. The food here is spectacular. I have been for breakfast lunch and dinner and all were excellent with no complaints. Very creative menu that changes regularly.

Blake Keegan

Pretty sure I just ate mashed potatoes from a box.

Catherine Aycock

Love this place! The food & service is always impeccable.

Kathryn Crawford

We went to brunch and the food was tasty, but the service was terrible. My coffee was only filled once, freshened almost immediately and then they never bothered to return again. Same with the water. Also, only half my meal made it into the to-go box. I didn’t think to check the box before I left the restaurant, because why would I expect to only get half my leftovers? I made it home and found they threw out half my food that I paid for! There are so many great places to eat in Charleston, you may as well go to one that cares about their customers.

Carole Aikman

A little house, lots of people, a varital gourmet menu, and however the chef turns out such consistently delectable meals all evening long, every night is beyond me. Just moved to this area of Charleston and I'm single so I've eaten at the bar with Austin and Taylor many times. (Taylor is the one with the baby bump:). Steak tartare is right on-fresh and perfectly topped with a quail egg; the decadent escargots are finished with a sherry cream sauce over a crouton; the iceberg wedge salad is cold, crispy and covered in bacon and blue. It pairs perfectly with the locally renowned French onion soup. Meatloaf called my name one night. What a deal for a small plate! Plenty a meal with collards and mash. Do you like mussels? Try the curried mussels-a small bowl will do for one or two- and is plenty. The menu offers healthy options like grilled fish of the day and skinny chicken. Casual attire which means you'll see jeans, some shorts, sun dresses, a sport coat, lady's slacks and nice top, but rarely a suit or cocktail dress. You'd be totally out of place if you dress fancy. It's more like a bistro, so don't expect soft music and table cloths. Quite noisy but quaint. Porch seating, bar table seating inside, as well as an outside bar serving a full menu, called the Coop. One note: the chef absolutely does NOT substitute any side in place of whatever is featured with its entree. Therefore, if you don't like collards with meatloaf, for example, you can just do without and pay for a bowl of a different side. Prices are very reasonable, I think, for delicious French food and a memorable experience. I'm there every week.

Kathy Sullivan

We visited for Sunday brunch at 1PM. The atmosphere was great-- relaxed and inviting. Great staff too! We started with a carafe of the peach Bellinis, well made but didn't get much of a peach flavor. My older son got the creme brulee french toast. The bread was awesome, thick and rustic, but a little mushy in the middle and slightly charred at the corners. The strawberries that topped it were fantastic and I found myself wishing for one in my bellini glass. My husband got the breakfast burrito which was super flavorful and well prepared. The chorizo inside of it was so yummy. I got the omelet on special which had tomato, zuchinni, mushrooms, asiago cheese and was topped with arugula. It was overcooked on the bottom and the tomatoes did not bring enough acidity to the omelet and the cheese not enough saltiness, a loss even when paired with the arugula. I wished for a squeeze of lemon on the greens, or a drizzle of balsamic, or onion or leek in the omelet. It needed one more punch of flavor. The amazing pommes frites on the side couldn't save it. As for the doneness, I think their cooktop may have been too hot due to the char on the french toast and overcooking of my omelette. The best part of the meal was the homemade cornbread with sweet butter and pluff mud pie for dessert. Simply delightful!

Ken Knowles

Great atmosphere, great food and excellent service. Surpassed expectations.

Stevie Lutzen

Couldn't have been better. Food and service were top notch

Wentworth Willock

Very good food and service. Menu is an eclectic collection of low-country items. Great selection of appetizers, the mussels are particularly good with four different flavor combinations to choose from. If escargot is something you fancy then try the one here; the garlic butter sauce is exceptional.

Mike Cook

Amazing brunch. The shrimp and grits was delicious as well as the French toast sandwich. Friendly service also. We'll be back, for sure.

Aileen Trinidad

Love this place. Food is awesome! My husband and I are big fans of the aioli mussels and the jalapeño margaritas. Austin is the best bartender in Charleston!

Bethany B.

Delicious food! Make reservations ahead of time; they are often busy.

Amanda Macom

Best Brunch in Charleston Period

Matthew Sheehan

I would give this place a 4.5 but I cannot on Google. The service and did are great, the atmosphere is really fun. I am from out of town and always enjoy going here. The last time I was there, with my friend and his family, my friends dad and i both got the corner beef and it was over cooked and dried out. Every other meal I have gotten here has been fantastic.

Amanda Hood

Very busy, obviously a super popular dinner spot but not so loud you can't enjoy a conversation. Service was very attentive and the food was beyond belief. Everything was cooked perfectly and they have the best grits I've ever tasted. The bread pudding was also fantastic.

Renee Cherry

Great food. Ate at The Coop outside. Great service too!

Richard Zarndt

Sunday brunch! Spectacular food and excellent service. The bacon and cheese grits are mandatory! Reservations are strongly recommended.

Joshua Widener

We came to the Red Hen for the first time last night because we heard it had really good food. We were not let down. Everything was very good. Our group all had different meals and I don't think anybody was unhappy. Our table tried the burger, salmon, lamb shank, shrimp and grits, and I had the beef short rib. I know the beef short rib was the most tender piece of meat that I had eaten in a while. I was told the burger was amazing. Finally, we tried the desserts. One was the Key Lime Pie and the other was a chocolate mousse cake. Both were excellent!! Make sure to make reservations because they stay busy. As far as cost I would say $$$$

Ashlee Hathaway

I had several friends who have been to Charleston that recommended this place for a nice dinner and they were all right. Our dinner was fantastic. We ordered the crab cake to start which was delicious. For dinner, I ordered the flounder while my husband order the shrimp and crab dinner. They were both very tasty. The shrimp and crab had a nice kick - if you don't like spice I would avoid. I have to eat gluten free and there were many great choices (all of these options were gf). Only thing that was so-so was the dessert. We had the raspberry cheesecake. The cheese & raspberry part were great but there pretzel crust was a little too chewy for my taste. We made reservations which was easy to do from their website.

Tom Vattimo

Hands down best burger around. And we always are trying different specials. Never disappointed

Josh Richard

Excellent find! It took our group of eight a while to be seated even though we had a reservation, but the outdoor bar out back and a comped appetizer made things right. The food was stellar and the wait staff knowledgeable (if a little chatty). Hear them out when they tell you about the specials, my pork chop was great!

Terrie Fraer

Great burger from the bar menu. Everything tasted farm to table. Terrific bar area outside and the porch swing was a little bit of heaven.

Cynthia Hale

Delicious food. Make an early reservation if you want the full choice of specials as they tend to run out. It is a little loud and tight inside, but worth it for the delicious food! They have a cute area outside in the back, if you like sitting outside.

Jim Brown

Great place for excellent southern food. Don't miss out on the shrimp n grits

Austin Floyd

Always a great meal here! Had the meat loaf, burger, key lime pie & cheesecake... All delicious, and super friendly staff

Karen Caron

Food was amazing, service was excellent. I had the scallops and they were perfect.

Steven Melcon

I loved the squash rice! Pretty healthy too!

Brandon Pratt

Food is always delicious and the service is always great!

Jim Woolwine

Wonderful ambience. Frogs legs were excellent.

Jana Craven

Good food, great atmosphere

William Weesner

The clams are incredible as was everything else. Always a favorite.

Marilyn Hemingway

Great food. Great service. A little of France in the Lowcountry.

Google User

Simply Awesome! Kudos the chef and his team.

david altman

Super salty food. Good quality. Good service. They could cut way back on the salt

Heather Herring

absolutely fabulous! great ambiance, and even better food. the shrimp and crab dish is to die for, and the blackberry cobbler is divine. first trip to Johns Island and Fat Hen, and would certainly return!

Peter Littlefield

We thought the food was really really good. Very healthy. It was Our second visit and both times we were very pleased and would recommend to anyone. One suggestion, We sat out side at the picnic table nearest the parking. The table is on gravel. The table is sinking into the gravel and is very low on one side. I suggest screwing 6" square flat feet to the bottom on the legs so it does not sink. Out waiter was Martin, from Quebec. The very best service. Martin!

Lori Donovan

Overpriced, misrepresented menu description, and non responsive to website contact email. Dined there for the first time August 3rd. Ordered sea scallops. Was described as sea scallops with corn pudding and red pepper sauce. Received two sea scallops over crushed corn kernels and sauce. I could have easily prepared this at home, searing two sea scallops and corn. More like an appetizer for 16.00 plus tax plus, plus tip, so 23.00 for that. Crushed corn kernels (possibly canned) is not corn pudding. Sent the order back the first time as it was way too salty, as my friends dining with me agreed. I could have gone to many other good restaurants in the area and had a much better meal for 23.00. They never responded to my website email to them about this. I have no desire to go back.

Erika Jones

The food was awesome! Our group of 6 had a variety, and each dish was great. The mimosa carafes were also a huge plus. Dog friendly with patio seating as well.

Christine Mountain

The food and service was amazing! I would give ten stars if I could.

Rick Deley

Ordered French onion soup it was completely burnt and unedible. For my meal it was supposed to be braised short ribs but I know meat and what I got was pot roast or Chuck nothing that resembled a short rib at all I was very disappointed. The waitress never asked if it was OK she might wonder why she got a poor tip so i hope she takes it up with the chief, or should I say hack that thought it was OK to serve hamburger instead of steak and thought I'd be good with that. I had 2 bites and left the rest and won't ever go back. I went 2 stars cause the spinach and potatoes were decent

Thad Shearin

Very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. They have daily specials. I had the shrimp and grits. It was great. I waa with a party of 8 and they took great care of us.

Eliecia Progar

This is our favorite restaurant on Kiawah. We eat here every single time we visit. Sometimes twice. Outstanding on every front. Beautiful atmosphere fabulous food. Fantastic service. Love love love it !! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. It needs more stars !!!

Linda Joyce

Very good and different Not a fancy restaurant, dress is causal

Lisa Vasilak

We waited 45 minutes for two burgers which we ordered medium and they were raw. The crab soup tasted fishy and not like crab soup. When they brought out our burgers they had them mixed up and the server who brought them out told us to switch them! Don’t waste your time or money!

Susan Haley

The food was amazing, service was outstanding!

Alex Schroeder

Service wasn't good. Over an hour wait for the entree and were never asked for drink refills or anything. The only time we talked to our server was to order and pay. Menu was not to my party's particular liking. Ordered: braised short rib.

Sally S

AMAZING! The employees were extremely attentive and friendly, cute venue and the food was so good! Get the mussels with the aioli and the house bread and dip it into the mussel “sauce”. Yum!

Karen Arteaga

Thank you for the amazing dinner. Awesome service from our waitress Nikki. If you are ever in the area recommend you stop by. You won’t be disappointed

Caroline Tucker

DELICIOUS peanut and corn salad paired with the Fat Pepper to drink. Add a fun time at the bar and it's a delightful Thursday evening!

Shafi Keisler

The BEST french toast! Love the fried chicken, too. Get a reservation because this place fills up FAST. The bar is tops!

Mona Dukes

Morgan was the BEST waitress. We loved the food and had a marvelous time. Love this place!!!

Erika Carasik

One of my favorite places. Joan and Fred are great owners and treat you wonderfully. The bartenders are great. Servers are awesome. Food is delicious.

Kathleen Leahy

The best brunch. Get everything.

Barbara Illsley

Oh my! This is, hands down, my favorite restaurant! I have never had a bad experience or meal! I tell everyone I know who travels to Charleston that this is a must try! The food is sophisticated, fresh, party in your mouth amazing! Quaint interior, comfortable outdoor seating, easy parking, great staff! My favorite menu items are Flounder Nicoise, Seared Sea Scallops, and Braised Short Ribs.

Billy Carson

Staff is super friendly, very nice and knowledgeable. Food was amazing. One of the, if not THE, best hamburger in charleston. Make sure to make a reservation unless you get lucky and get a seat at the bar. Good sized wine and beer selection as well.

Elaine Ross

Escargot served over a piece of bread with very little garlic sauce. Sweet potatoes had so much Tabasco sauce no one could eat it, why it even had Tabasco sauce is anyone's guess. Pork loin was so rare it was walking across plate. Side salad was a few pieces of lettuce and a quarter slice of a tomato. Just not the same quality as it once was. Unfortunate.

Matt Parker

We really wanted to enjoy this place and went in with fairly high expectations. After waiting 40 minutes for entrees, I asked our waiter if our food would be along shortly. He acknowledged the lengthy wait but chalked it up to our 2 year old’s hamburger temperature (which we ordered well done). We understood the additional wait time involved with the burger, so we ordered a round of cocktails and went about our conversation. At 50 minutes, we finally received our food - well 80% of us did anyway. In the 4/5ths food we received was our 2 year old’s burger - which was cooked to medium rare at best. We brought this to our waiters attention, he apologized and blamed the kitchen. Meanwhile, my wife still had not received her entree. 10 minutes later, they cooked our daughters burger to the requested temp and brought it back out. Wife still has no entree. At this point everyone at the table had polished off our dinner just in time for the rest of our order to arrive. 10 minutes later, everyone watching my wife finish her meal, they bring out a side dish of green beans “on the house”. This was a part of our original order by the way. Dear Fat Hen, we don’t want free green beans, we want our food cooked appropriately and delivered timely. I hope you’re able to improve. Sincerely disappointed.

Jenny Turner

Pricey and delish. We had a large group so serving was slow as expected.

Michael Rossow

All of the food was amazing!!! Lauren was an awesome waitress! Recommend reservations, but otherwise this place is awesome!

Ben Savoldi

Good atmosphere. Limited vegan options. Good gluten free options. Family friendly. Great staff.

Janine Hughes-Cornell

I LOVE this restaurant. There is nothing I can say more than "go...and go often..." We're food snobs....we are both from restaurant backgrounds and can sing the praise of this incredible place ~ food is scrumptious, service attentive and courteous , atmosphere inviting, reasonably priced....the perfect package. Thank you. We'll be back any opportunities we have !

JOSEPH GUMENY

Awesome staff and food! Great vibe, menu, and bar. Nice outdoor bar. Shade trees. Outdoor courtyard. Did i mention the staff was great! :)

Teresa VanderVeen

The atmosphere is right on point for this spot. We enjoyed a full brunch starting with the Bellinis, and ordering on of the specials as well as an off the menu item. The burrito was full of flavor and the eggs were cooked to perfection. The Cuba sandwich was delectable, but their was little distinction from the ham and pork belly. The Green tomatoes appetizef... well it went so fast we forgot to grab a picture. Topped off with the brownie, which was good, but could tell it was not fresh. Overall we would repeat our visit to enjoy the unique atmosphere and flavors.

John Hooker

Absolutely terrific French country style restaurant. Very comfortable ex-country home, warm wood, terrific atmosphere, and a regular, knowledgeable staff. Every meal we have had is top-notch. Not overly fancy, good sized portions, extraordinary ingredients and flavor blends, whether seafood, fowl, beef, etc. A favorite of Charlestonians in-the-know.

Colin Parker

Really good food, especially the mussels, braised short ribs, and seared fish. Warm, welcoming service that unfortunately was very slow bringing out the food, otherwise I'd give 5 stars.

Jeffrey Friedman

The food choices were excellent and made well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just wanted to please. Pricing was reasonable.

Mikayla Pryor

Very nice. Love the location. My mussels were great

Dave Eslinger

Very nice place to eat, reasonable prices, tasty food, a reasonable selection of wines and beers, though few beers on draft. I had the butcher's steak, and my selection, unfortunately, was rather chewy and stringy, even though cooked medium rare. I don't know if that is a function of that particular piece of meat, or the cut. The taste was quite delicious, and it was cooked correctly. The spinach was absolutely fantastic! All in all, however, I would recommend stopping at this place it was a pleasure to find it and try it.

Joyce Driggers

Excellent food. Kimberly was amazing. Attentive and fun. We really enjoyed the entire experience.

Tonya Luckadoo

Never fails to impress! We love it.
