We are regulars at store 8750. The customer leaving told us good luck service was very slow. My husband wanted to order the $8.99 steak and egg but couldn’t due to the store not having any more steaks. Manager would not discount on another type of steak. The manager was the cook. It took over 45 minutes for us to receive our food. Which was not hot and wrong. We had to return a the hash browns and eggs the hash browns were over cooked and the eggs were undercooked even though we specified when we ordered. We were very disappointed with food and the manager service to us. We are not sure if we will return if this manager is still over this store. The only thing pleasant about this visit was the friendly waitresses.

Dennys in Merritt Island Florida has most unprofessional management I've ever delt with on any level at any restaurant . I called repeatedly to place a carryout order when they refused to answer their phone I simply placed my order online where I had to pay in advance with a credit card. 10 minutes later the manager calls me telling me they are closed to spray for bugs. When I asked him to refund my card he said he could not. He said if I wanted my money I had to come to the restaurant and he hung up on me. When I got there and asked him why he couldn't give me a refund he screamed at me saying he was giving me a refund. I don't expect much out of a dennys but I do expect management to act in a respectful, professional manner. This guy was the furthest thing from respectful of professional. When I asked him why they didnt simply answer their phone that the whole situation could have been avoided he didnt have an answer. Do yourself a favor and go to IHOP at least they know how to treat their customers.

On Saturday June 15th 2019 , I placed a order for carryout at the Cambridge Maryland store# 7842. I was told 15 to 20 minutes, it took almost a hour and when I got my food ,I was missing a order of buffalo chicken strips, ranch dressing, toast and hash browns. I ask to speak to a manager and was told they did not have one on duty ( what ) this is unheard of. The customer service was horrible they had 3 waitresses on for the entire restaurant that could not keep up with a Saturday night. While I was waiting 4 couples were checking out and all 4 ask for management for complaints and were told the same thing I was told , no management on duty. I watched people come in to eat and have to stand there for 5 to 10 minutes before being seated( crazy ). Employees were very rude and for my family and I we will never order or go to Denny's again!!!! Horrible experience!!!!!

I have had much experience with Denny s, I have done repair work for them and been a customer.I can tell anyone reading this that they are one of the worst restaurants for cleanliness, taking care of the equipment, and taking care of their employees. I have been to multiple locations in multiple states and they are all disgusting. If any customer went in the kitchen and witnessed the condition of the floor, grills, and fryers that look like they're never cleaned, and the coolers were the food kept(full of mold and food uncovered) they'd puke. Denny's should be ashamed of there stores, I don't know how they pass any health imspections. We could also talk about how it smells like urine when you walk in to most of there stores, I think that they could clean these stores better and maybe try disinfecting something. I love when a company tries to remodel as cheaply as possible, nothing like painting over bubbled paint so the new paint can peel right off, and laying paneling halfway up a wall to hide holes and mold. I love seeing the wood around the windows rotted out because you can't fix your roof leaks. All the managers seem like they are probably the only employees that have lasted more than 6 months, they are mostly rude and don't care about customers. I guess we should all just get used to the idea that the managers are only there to get a paycheck and try increase their social lives, customers come last, my experience was not any better as a repair vendor, they are rude, have no idea what's going on, their corporate people send you work orders and the managers know nothing about it, they don't fix anything unless they have to, leave equipment broken for months, and then expect it to be repaired for no cost. Should we now talk about the mice and rats that are infesting at least 50% of the stores I have been in, cockroaches are not your biggest concern if you're a custmer,, I've had mice climb over my legs while I was laying on the floor working on the refrigerated serving line in one store, and scared 3 rats out of the mechanical room in another. I'll never even take a free meal from any of these stores, don't eat here if you value your health. D enny's you should hire some competent managers (not the next 19yr old that can stand working there for more than 6 months) and put some money into your stores instead of straight in the CEO's pocket, the cheap facelifts look terrible.

My girl called and ordered take out 3 different times and 3 differant times the fd up my burger and put onions on it after being told several times im allergic to it. I live 20 miles away from there and must have run out $60 in gas dealing with thier bs. They don't care about thier customers at all. This was in Richland pa!!!-#-

I was a regular customer to the Denny's on Wade Hampton in Greenville. this is now an awful place. the service is terrible the food is not much better. there is a manager(maybe) Skip who is so unprofessional. he has his shirt tail hanging out and unshaven. They never answer the phones. I also saw roaches on the walls as I was eating. what a disgrace. I am really disappointed with this restaurant and will be calling the health dept. not even worth 1 star.

We are at 1515 ocean st, santa cruz, ca location and todays experience was AWESOME! Our server Dana was GREAT! There was definitely more staff today, management has definitely improved this place. Comparing todays visit to previous visits it was like day and night. I want to give props to Dana for dealing with a large crowd and difficult people. Her proffessionalism is outstanding and positive attitude gives this location 5 stars. Todays wait was almost non existent, given that there was plenty of people being served and waiting to be served.

When you order something and get something else three times you finally give up on that restaurant and leave then get told to not come back by the bus boy who took the order to begin with yeah what a joke there service has went totally down hill in Shelton Wa my grandson ordered onion rings once and they were very greasy and burnt we will never recommend anyone to go there and its cheaper to eat elsewhere anyway...

Denny's on Willson mills, in Ohio, sucks. So this started on a Sunday I ordered Denny's thur Door dash. I called the Denny's That I knew, will be preparing the food. Spoke to the girl about the specific on this meal because before they messed up my meal. The girl seemed nice and read back my order. The Doordash delivery man call after 45 minutes and apologized that he was still at Denny's. I then called Denny's no answer, so about 45 minutes the dashboard man called and said he was on his way, he had just got the delivery, and overheard they say some of my ordered like the cheese cake was not in the bag.so of course I was disappointed but when I got the order everything was different , and things was just.. god I want to say a word but I won't. I then called Denny's and asked for a manager, JEREMY THIS IS THE KICKER. HE SAID OH WELL THE DOOR DASH PERSON SHOULD OF MADE SURE ALL YOUR MEALS WAS CORRECT. BUT IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, COME UP HERE AND WE WILL REPLACE YOUR MEAL. OTHER THEN THAT, I DONT KNOW , VERY NASTY, NOT GUY I COULD HEAR THE OTHER EMPLOYEE LAUGHING, THEN HE GIVE ME THE NUMBER TO DENNY'S CORPORATE, AND PEOPLE 5 DAYS NOW NO CALL BACK. SO I GUESS , S.... This Denny’s in Arnold mo would not honor the veterans day meal which is advertised on the Internet for 11/11 2018. Denny’s is one of the places which is advertised as serving veterans today on Veterans Day and the manager would not honor it very disappointing for a veteran who served our country and protected us today is Veterans Day it’s Sunday. The Denny’s on Lindbergh Avenue in St. Louis told us that if we showed them the ad on the Internet that they would honor serving a veteran a free meal. My Experience was terrible on 5/10/2019 the presentation of food was not for human consumption ? I have pictures of plate and eggs were not cooked per order, sausage had black carbon burnt stuff on it and bacon must have been picked up out of grease catch tray as it was just 1 or 2 inch pieces all stuck together ? Coffee was ok, pancakes were very heavy and not cooked well, I am appalled as I have attended this place for years on and off ! I hope someone in their corporate company reads this and asks for my picture to show them !!!!!

Today, I visited a Denny's location in Houston, Texas. I was not pleased with the service or the food. When I arrived, there was no one up front to man the register. I have been up there for 4 or 5 minutes and then a family came in to be seated and a man came up to pay. A few minutes later, someone finally came up to the register to get my to-go order. There was one order waiting there but it had no ticket with it, so the woman did not know if it was mine. She left to go find the ticket and returned without one. She grabbed the bag and told me what was in it. It was missing my fruit that I had ordered. She goes to get the fruit and comes back and hands me the bag. I still did not have my milks that I had ordered. She went to go make those and someone else showed up and apparently they were sitting the the counter the entire time. While they were off looking for the milk, I checked my bag and they did not have half of the condiments I asked for. When I told them, the woman said "I put them in the bag on the side." I knew she did not because I checked my bag. She still proceeded to come look in the bag before she headed off to go get what she missed. The man standing behind me, waiting to pay said that he had to send back his grilled cheese because when it came out it was cold and it took them several minutes to seat the people waiting behind us. After I left to go back to my hotel, I started to take the food out of the bag. There was no silverware to be found. I had to get creative on how to spread my jelly without getting it all over me. My biscuit and bacon tasted like they had been cooked in a microwave. Both were cold when I went to eat them. I was only six minutes from my hotel. They should not have been cold. The fries were cold as well. The salad I had, did not look very fresh. I did not eat it. The only good thing I have to say was that the fruit was good and cold and my milks were cold as well.

I ordered a plain cheeseburger and fries. Honestly how hard is that? It's the least complicated item on the menu. They still managed to screw it up. The burger was so greasy when I picked it up it was dripping grease every where. The fries were undercooked, and they couldn't even manage to figure out who our waitress would be. I never complain and I didn't this time either. I just paid the bill and took it home and threw it in the trash. Normally I like Denny's but I won't be eating at the Batavia, NY one ever again. I suggest you don't either.

I went to Denny on Labor day, and the place was filthy... No condiments on table. Salt and pepper empty. My waitress was Beatrice. And she brought my soup with my meal. Which was cold when it got to the table.. the people across from me had the same problem. I returned it and she said she would bring me a new hot plate. Ten mins later she came back with a warm piece of steak and cold potatoes and broccoli.. I just ate it cold. Also when she took it back to the kitchen I could here her saying out loud that I returned it because it was cold. And that I was crazy....... I

Portland Oregon off Stark... My husband and I just had breakfast and before we left my husband went to the restroom. He came out and was disgusted. He heard 2 men in a stall getting high. He told our server what he had heard and the server said let me guess, the guy in the bathroom? Our server told another employee in Spanish who appears to be the cook to go check to see what was going on. Our server then went back to cook an order after handling our money and didn’t wash his hands as the cook left the line but never went to the bathroom. My husband and I sat in the car and watched one man come out who was an employee who went back into the kitchen and started cooking an order (which he never washed his hands either) Our server started speaking to this employee and they both looked at us as we were watching through the window. Then the second man came out who looked very dirty, almost homeless, went and sat down at a booth where they delivered him his burger. He was flailing out of control and that’s when we seen the cook who was suppose to go check the bathroom go and visit with the second guy who came out after the cook. It’s clear that the employees all knew what was going on in the men’s restroom. This establishment has employees doing drugs while on the clock and then preparing and serving customers their meals without ever washing their hands. I was never given my receipt so I am unable to provide any details of who our server was, however we will be reporting this to the health department.

The dennys on airport way in boise is a horrible place to work they gotta a new gm which has no people skills and will basically call you a liar also dennys corparte dosent care when managers are on social media ridiculing their employees about being sick they let them post rude comments and dont care as long as it is nothing said against the dennys name !!! Wouldnt reccomend for anyone to work or let alone eat their!! When it rains water comes through the lights in the dish pit area and also in the cook line were food is suppose to be kept cold goes down 2 also on the front line and they do nothing to fix the problem permanently and who knows how long the food has sat there !! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I live in Midwest City ok, I called in a order on Sunday. An order of two French toast and a slices of bacon. When my husband brought my food home no syrup was in the bag. I immediately called to the restaurant I let them know I didn’t receive any syrup with my order. A manager name April answer the phone I ask her will she replace my food since I didn’t get any syrup she told me NO she was not going to replace my food. April was very very rude and very unprofessional you don’t talk to customers like that since I go to location at least once a week sometimes twice a week. I will not be visiting this location every again. April needs to go find another job as a mangager she is very unprofessional and very rude no more Denny’s for me

Went in today 8-10-19 at 1015 a.m. my wife and I and 2 other couples were meeting us there. They said theres a wait but dont know how long . A lot of open tables but would not seat us. This company sent my son home for shoes when he came to work 2 days after the passing of his grandma. He watched her die. We told him he didn't have to go in today. But he wanted to work to get his mind off of his grandma. He wore the incorrect shoes due to his dog chewing them up in our absence. I called the owner to discuss it he has no sympathy. He said if my son doesn't have the correct shoes by tomorrow, they will replace him. I told the owner he quit. He tried to do the right thing when everything has been going wrong. They are badly ran. His pay is never right either. If his check is not correct on Monday I will be contacting Corporate. Again. Communication is key. Talk to your employees. Find out why they are doing certain things. Sometimes there is a reason. Be sensitive.

Just do not waste your time or money. This was not the first time everything was horrible. Well I can not say everything because we never got food. Over 30 minutes and all we had was water. We were finally told they did not have the ingredients to make certain omelets. Almost certain we should have been told that within a few minutes. I expect to be eating in less than 30 minutes. A few other things too but all waitresses have bad days and are allowed to not be happy with customers and the hostess right? Waffle house across the street.

Warning do not eat at Dennys the District Manager Andreas and the manager Jesus are pure scum. I was strung along by Jesus the manager at the Dennys on Colorado and Altadena Ave. I was told I was hired all he was waiting on was another employee to take maternity leave. For 2 months I patiently waited and when it was time to come in for training he tells me sorry things had changed. The whole time I'm turning down other jobs out of respect for Jesus because I was already committed to working there. And now I'm going to be homeless because of these 2 Mexican immigrants who can barely speak english and only hire Mexicans employees. Denny's is made of gold encased win. I've eaten at dozens of Denny's locations over the years and have been very pleased with nearly all of them. For years, I was a near weekly customer at several Denny's restaurants in Florida and always enjoyed great food with fantastic value. Then and during my travels across the U.S., most Denny's locations have proven clean with reliable if not stellar service, too. As with any chain, there are exceptions. Denny's at Exit 341 just south of Jacksonville along I-95 in Florida, for instance, is a pit that needs to be jettisoned into space right quick (ugh!). But, otherwise I've long been pleased with the Denny's chain. For any who read these reviews of Denny's Corporate, please note the review grammar and spelling before extending judgment. That noted, visit your local Denny's. If it's a good one, you'll forge great memories there with family and friends as I have.

I had the extreme misfortune of eating lunch at a Denny's in Lumberton NC today 2/1/19 and the manager was yelling and screaming at employees during my entire meal if I had not already ordered I would have left like many people did. Dennys Tucson, AZ Oracle Rd Location: Where do I start? First of all this location never gave me and my family any problems, but today our food was beyond overcooked... fries were stale and very "crunchy" like when you leave them in the fryer for too long. The hash browns were dark brown, the two sausage links were burnt to a crisp. I mentioned this to the manager not only did he give me a "life lesson" speech about how I was wrong for not complaining to the server (this has never happened anywhere else). After he was done he looks at my bill for me and my family and just smiles and says "Have a Good Day" with this NASTY attitude. This all happened in front of customers. Honestly, I was so embarrassed not only because this happened in front of people but because it was an insult to just send a customer on their way without paying for anything. The whole experience was terrible. Poor management, cashiers who dont know how to take a concern into consideration right there and then, and most off all the embarrassing moment where a manager just shuts you up by saying "is this your bill?" "HAVE A GOOD DAY" with a horrible attitude. Goodbye Dennys!

today we went to our local Denny's. After ordering we were told they had no pancakes, no crepes or french toast. I was not happy but asked if they would give me an extra egg since pancakes were part of the breakfast i ordered. I was told no...and they gave me extra toast. Not something I wanted....The service was not the greatest, but it was ok, but since my grand daughter wanted pancakes too, it was a fiasco. I had to wait at the register for 4 minutes, as waitresses saw me standing there, and turned to go to the back...when one finally took my money, she rang it up, then disappeared again for 5 minutes. I am an older woman and walk with a walker, so standing there all that time...did not make me happy. This was the Denny's in Jeffersonville, Ohio, guess they lost my business again for a while.

We have been to Denny's every Sunday after church and for the past 3 weeks we've had to wait for a long time to sit and waited again to get our meal. Our observation is they are short of cooks and waitresses the tables were not cleaned or cleared of dirty dishes. The cashier was doing her best to clear tables which should not be her responsibility the customers were trying to pay and some walked away without paying. Many customers came in and left. You all are losing money either way. We cleared our table to have someone sit. I see a problem and it needs fixing. I'm an observer and a problem solver and willing to help and train your staff. My family and I decided we will not be going to Denny's anymore. I believe we can turn it around.

The past 3 times we have gone to the Denny's in Wilson N. C. The service is absolutely pathetic. We sat there almost an hour without any food. Our drink glasses were empty way before we ever got any food. The waiter asked what I was drinking but forgot to bring anymore to us. He passed by our table multiple times in the meantime. We were finishing up the food when he finally remembered us. Never did get any lemon and never got any bread. I asked for the manager at the register and complained about it. She was sorry but her response was..the bread never came up. She then turned away a party of 8 because they had to "clean the restaurant"? This was the manager? Won't be going back.

The staff at Denny's in Bishop California is a poor representation of your company. The service is lacking in management / customer service. I'm sure you see the reviews. It's the only place open 24 hrs here. You can do much better than this!!!!!!

I will never return to Geneva ny dennys as long as the night manager is still there that work the night of 6/22/2018. I have been restaurant manaer before and you dont bash your employees to customers. She was over heard telling a table she is sorry for the wait but it is her Incompetent waiters fault. She was yelling at him in front of everyone. The waiter was alone with 4 big partys all at once. We were informed she had two cooks two waiters and a dishwasher on for gatduation night. She was seen taking an order at a table that was just seated when my party had been there longer. We were already greeted by the waiter who was working hard and as fast as he could. The waiter was amazing and outstanding at his job. He kept a smile on his face and was very polite. He went out of his way to make sure his tables were all set and happy. I believe the waiters name was albert. It was also over heard by my party that another table told him he was doing a good job and keep up the good work dont let her talk to you like that. I have never seen such a piss poor managed restaurant in my life. I will be spreading the word about this manager via social media so everyone knows to stay away at night when she is working. Manager shoild be supportive of there employees and workinf along side of them till the end not outside smoking or standing in the waiter space. She should be out checking on tables and taking complaints not blaming her employees.

Was seated for 10 minutes before anyone came over. Got our drinks and waited 25 minutes for our food, which was wrong. Had to ask for a refill on coffee. My food was brought out again, still wrong. Never asked how our food was. The hostess cave it and said they would take 25% off of my check. I told then I'm not paying for food that was wrong and I didn't receive my full order. They compensated my food. Service is awful. Second time this has happened. I will not be going back to that location in Greece, NY. To bad, Denny's used to be great!! Now its just poor service. Managers need to be held accountable for their waiters

January 20 today was my birthday and i received my email for a free build your own slam. i ordered what they called a birthday slam here in Farmington,NM plus my waitress had the crew come sing happy birthday, which was great. I got my bill and it said Birthday on the bill. i was charged full price for my birthday breakfast meal. i even showed my email I didn’t want to argue with the manager so i just paid it. So. Did Not send emails for free build your own Birthday Slam. Next this made me upset too. there was a mexican family the came in and they ordered at the same time i did. they got there bill and it was discounted to almost nothing. it’s it because i was native american and the manager was hispanic or mexican. i dine there frequently and i’ve notice hispanics are greeted and treated more than natives or whites. If this is how things are run at this Denny’s. I will gladly eat somewhere else. I don’t need to be treated like no body. I don’t know if writing this will help or if my opponion counts. This Denny’s needs to be cleaned up and retrained to service every color equally.

At the so called remodeled Denny's in Greenville NC. Not too impressed. Blinds are still filthy, walkway to kitchen filthty and trash scattered. Will call Health Department. New Floor and seating is just not good enough.

The dennys on Kentucky ave in Indianapolis is so dirty staff never wash their hands even after blowing their noses servers eat off your plate in the pass window gloves never worn and your fruit is never washed its a gross place save yourself dont go there

I just left your location #6140 in Edgewood, MD. I had come in for my yearly birthday slam to go. I have done this for the last 2 years. After standing at the register for almost 10 minutes. Counter person Latoya came over to take my order. I told her I wanted to take my birthday order to go. After analyzing the coupon for a couple minutes she smartly replied it was dine in only. I informed her I always got it to go. She quipped in was dine in only. Never asked a manager to see if it could be over road. So I stated I was going to eat in. My server Suzannah was courteous enough my food came hot. So I got to eat my eggs and bacon hot. I took the rest to go. I tipped Suzannah when she brought me the bill. When I went to cash out at the register somehow Latoya register could not cash out. Much nicer this time and told it was ok I could go after checking my ID. My ticket number is 301235 if they don't just void it when the register comes back up. The a manager was standing next to her "trying to get their card to work". I have dined here with friends on other occasions.This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth for this location. Luckily there is a Waffle House, IHOP and Cracker Barrel close.

I tried to eat at the Denny's in Lowell Indiana. They said I couldn't substitute my hashbrowns and bread for anything. And that I'd still have to pay the full price for the entire meal. Really bad customer service. No healthy options. So I walked out and went try to eat at a Denny's again!

I have never had anything but good food and good service at Denny's. My favorite is the really smooth smoothies you make. (I love the Mango). I have tried several other restaurants to find a good smoothie. but none come up to your quality. The other places make them so they come out with crunchy ice chunks in them and fruit strings. Yours is totally smooth and creamy all the way through. Delicious! Thank you. I go out of my way to stop by just for that.

I took a pic of my food which I wish I could share. Utterly ridiculous bacon was drawed up and each piece was about half inch long. This Dennys has such a big turn over in staff that every time I go there the entire staff is brand new. The cook is unqualified and should be immediately replaced.

Here at dennys in florida city trying to place an order for pancakes, I've been standing here for 10 mins, then walks in postmate delivery driver who the waiter decides to wait on like im invisible, by the way she was very attentive to her, then another couple walks in she does it again, btw (im afro american) i ask can you take my order i was here before both of them, she goes she picking up an order, im like really, so finally she comes over i go i only wanted a stack she goes oh that doesn't take long, i go i know this why i dont understand why you were ignoring me, i have jobs like you and her, this dennys is getting worser and worser

THIS IS A TOTAL LIE! ORDERED AT 0630 TO GET SOME BREAKFAST , because i didnt want to cook or go chase it down . at 0800 still no food , call the store and im told its there waiting on me to pick it up. I ORDERED DELIVERY ! BRING IT TO ME! so i go to the store to get it , and they tell me its at another store , so i call there and go to get it, get there and they tell me its out for delivery! get home , and get a TEXT NOT A CALL from the driver , saying they just got the notification of my delivery 7 mins ago and that it was over an hour late and they didnt know what to do! im like OMFG ! WHERES MY FRIGGIN FOOD? SO I CALL THE STORE BACK , I'VE BEEN CHARGED FOR DELIVERY AND FOOD AND HAVE RECEIVED NEITHER! DOOR DASH AND DENNYS BOTH SAY ITS THE OTHERS FAULT! SO IM OUT 20 BUCKS FOIR LEGAL THEFT , HAD TO PAY TWICE FOR BREAKFAST! AND CHASE IT DOWN? SMH...THEFT...

just left there with my aunt for lunch. They werr slow but took 35 minutes to get our meal. She ordered a omelette and it was like rubber and her plate had water from it all over, looked and tasted disgusting she said. I had a club sandwhich which I took one bite and it was aweful. Told waitress and she said sorry. Left 90% of both meals paid tab and will NEVER go back. This was testerday in Aberdeen Washington 2-2919. I could have gine on and on about the food. I took one bite of my lunch and never touched it again. We had to pay for garbage and the waitress was aweful! I hope they move on soon so we can get a good place to eat instead of this disgusting hole

I'm a regular customer at the Dennys in Jacksonville Texas , I like the food but the service is very questionable. But what really made me uncomfortable and makes me not want to go again even do I like the food is the fact that I can hear the waitters screaming at the cooks from where ever I'm sitting. I went to go eat this past Tuesday November 27 around lunch time and I heard a waitress screaming at a cook and this was over the top arguments and using language that should not be use around kids. I love the food and so do my kids but something must be done about the waiting staff.
