So disappointed! I used to go to the original restaurant when I was in school. The service and quality of food are not nearly the same. I took my son there Saturday night. There were only 2 other tables seated when we arrived. Neither had gotten their food yet. We waited over 40 minutes for our pizza. I finally told them to put it in a to-go box. Waiting that long for a simple pizza when they are slow is ridiculous. Seeing 5 employees standing around with no sense of urgency made it worse.

The food was good and fresh. It is a family-owned restaurant and they care. I had their special with a salad and a drink and it was delicious. They serve the food quickly and hot and checked often to see if we needed anything. My friends and I agreed to make this a more regular meeting place to eat and have Fellowship. I enjoyed it very much!

Anchovies are not available as a pizza topping. Restaurant staff's answer was that "the owner hates them". When further pressed as to whether or not I could bring in my own tin of anchovy fillets and have them put on a pizza (fully expecting to be charged as a topping, naturally) the answer was "No. The owner won't even touch them". This is an "Italian" restaurant that serves "New York" pizza? Obviously not. Anchovies are an integral part of Southern Italian and Italian-American cuisine. Even a generic pizza chain like Marco's will meet this simple request.

This is my favourite pizza place in South Carolina. De Mara's creates the best tasting pizza, which has an aromatic, crunchy, and buttery crust, complementing the sauce and toppings you select. I drive once a month from Columbia to eat here, and I think anyone seeking exceptional cuisine should visit.

Timing of bringing out food.. If one pizza takes longer than another, in a group. Cook the one that takes the longest first. . in other words. Server needs to bring both out closer together. . one couple is finished theres before other is brought out..

My family and I really enjoyed this place. My husband and I had a bad experience on our last outing at a different restaurant, but this place made up for it. The cashier was kind. We liked that the this place was cozy and relaxing. Great for family time and for couples. The menu had a good amount of options. We were very satisfied with what you ordered. I ordered a large pizza with various toppings, a spaghetti dinner, and a Mac and cheese dinner. Also got the caramel chocolate. We all were happy with of meals. We will definitely be going back soon. All in all, we loved everything!

I give 4 stars cause there is always room to grow! First time eating there a couple days ago, and when i walked in i was surprised that you ordered Italian and pizza at a counter not by menu. So we ordered, and wait was not long...... when the food come out i was very surprised ... portions are bigger, food was hot and all the flavors were there... really enjoyed our sleves!

What are people smoking is a comment I read before I stepped in and said to myself during and after I left. Before me and my wife even pulled up there was a wreck that involved somebody who ran into the ditch outside and honestly that’s what me and my wife should have done off the bat. Pizza looked and tasted like they got it out of a frozen food section at Walmart. The young female working the register was rude and not worried bout the customers but more with sitting with her friends. Everything served on styrofoam plates etc....you would think since they don’t care about what you eat on or with the food would some how reflect better with the money being put elsewhere but NOPE. Honestly if you are looking for food in Sumter just go to sambinos down the street or fusion soul food on the exact same street or even mc Donald’s for that matter.

Nice local Italian fast-food style joint with a simple selection and style with filling options for a really low price. The pasta's and garlic bread was awesome. The place has a layout similar to Sponge Bob's Krusty Krab. Nothing fancy like Olive Garden.

Not my favorite. A lot of folks like it, but it's not my bag. The oven baked items are a little too dry, the pizza not as 'fresh' as I like. It's not expensive, though, so if you just don't want to cook, only have 10 bucks, and you're tired of McDonald's, it might do.

Nice place to relax with friends or family and clean environment. Great customer service as well. Now the pizza......mediocre. The taste was bland, maybe the lack of sauce. However, they do not shy away from putting a substantial amount of toppings on your pizza.

If you want cheap italian style food, come here. If you want good italian food, dont come here. Simple as that. If you want overcooked regular spaghetti noodles and a basic sauce, come here. If youre looking for something fantastic, this is not it. This is not a secret hidden gem nestled in the outskirts of dalzell. Its just a cheap small town italian restaurant and if you go in knowing that then youll probably leave happier. Prices are great. Very low cost. Nice people seem to be running it. Came in on a Thursday evening around 7 and not crowded.

Not worth the cost! After waiting 25 minutes for our food, it looked like a frozen dinner. It was ok. The dude on staff was pretty cool. Loved when the lady from the kitchen who told the cashier how to put in an order for pasta, "not wet" and the female in the kitchen who was obviously ready to go home because we could hear her complaining.

Kind of Mediterranean-themed sandwich shop - pasta dishes, greek salads (and other salads, too), and a LONG list of sandwiches. Tea and soda machine for drinks. Gets pretty busy at lunchtime since it is near Shaw AFB. Order your lunch at the counter, they'll bring it to your table in a few minutes. Good portions, good food, friendly staff. A good spot!

Ordered a sub sandwich on the phone went in to pick it up young lady at the counter doing some type of check-in i I stood there right in front or her and she did not even bother to look up. when another employee spoke to her about me standing she had some very undesirable remarks about me standing there. i reminded her that I did not need to hear her remarks just give me my sandwich. I heard her make a few remarks as I was leaving I started to turn around and address her about them but I left. Mr. D and I retired here together and I have always been treated very well here at this place I will go back but someone needs to have a talk to that young lady about her attitude.

We just moved here and I was excited to try some local pizza but despite these great reviews I was very disappointed. The buffalo chicken was really good, probably one of the best buffalo chicken pizzas I have had. But their cheese pizza was so disappointing. Of all things to not do well the most basic seems the hardest to mess up but they did. I couldn't taste the sauce at all. It was basically cheese bread. I had to actually peel back the cheese to even see any sauce and even then it didn't even cover the entire pizza and was thin in the few spots it was existant. I am glad I got the buffalo chicken since it was good. I may try their other pizzas some time but ask for extra sauce. I'll be trying other local restaurants before ordering a pizza from here again, though.

I don't know what people are smoking before they rate this place but my husband and I went on a week night and the food was terrible. It had to have been precooked, frozen and then thrown in the microwave upon our ordering. We will never step foot in there again, it was that bad. I had to give them one star otherwise it won't let me post.

Paper plates. Plastic eating utensils. Menu board says spaghetti with meatballs and meat sauce ,$7.69. Charged me $9.00. Shredded lettuce for a salad. Small aluminum pie dish for the meal. Terrible experience!!! NEVER GOING BACK?

Pizza was fantastic. Prices are awesome compared to many other Italian restaurants. The only thing I would say is make the crust on your pizza a little thinner. Other than that great restaurant and will be returning in the near future.
