Pretty great cheeseburgers. The license plates on the wall keep you occupied while they cook your food. Cheese steak sandwich is awesome too.

Wow!!! This place is a hole in the wall. But is was a truck driver for 18 years and used to places that looks like this. But the food is awesome and the chocolate shakes are wicked good. The ice tea is good. The people are nice and friendly. So it is so worth the stop for a cheeseburger. I'd say the best cheeseburgers in Greenwood.

Took a motorcycle ride from Columbia this morning with a buddy, just to visit this place. It did not dissappoint! Great burgers, fries, and onion rings at sensible prices. Service was awesome. After I got back home I realized, "oh no! I forgot to try the shakes!!" Guess I'll have to go back.

I've always enjoyed my food at the Cheeseburger House, but yesterday I was highly dissatisfied. I ordered a chili burger, and the bun was so soggy that you couldn't pick it up. I had to eat it with a fork. Not sure if I'll be going there again or not. Very dissatisfied!!

The only thing good was the hot fries, the slaw was ok, but my cheeseburger tasted watered down for some reason and no meat flavor. I'm not sure but it was like the burger sat in water waiting to be someone's meal. I remembered why I hadn't been there for years, looks like it'll be a while before I go back. That's ok though, they've done alright without me.

I have been in Greenwood for almost 7 years and have always heard that the cheeseburger house was the best, well after 7 years finally decided to try it out. I was hoping for a mouthwatering burger that was the best I have ever had, unfortunately I was not impressed. The burgers are fried not grilled and are very mediocre, not a lot of flavor and not much better than a McDonald's burger. On the other hand the onion rings are some of the best I have had in South Carolina, they aren't huge rings that are 95% fried batter, they are semi thin and completely delicious. Just stick with the onion rings and doesn't waste your money and a burger that I would not even feed to my dog.

The restaurants atmosphere is incredible, all the waitresses are so sweet and very interested in their customers satisfaction. Wow the meals are excellent which I have to say yummy. Well two.mknths ago.....there was no Coke, service slow ( either new or not enough) many walked out before our party of 6 was served..... More and more apologies being served doesn't really help either.... This place can make a good burger and fresh hot fries....hope they can get a crew in there to save it! Hidden gem of greenwood. Amazing milk shakes, epic burgers that rival any place around. Cole slaw, better than any I have ever had. Affordable chicken wing, mouth watering fried mushrooms and sweet tea so good you could hurt yourself.

I live in Nebraska but spent a lot of time here in Greenwood a while back. Whenever I visit, I try to stop at the Cheeseburger House because I love the burgers and the coleslaw with crackers. You may have driven by before and not thought much about the place but the decision to visit for the food is well worth it. One of the best burgers in two states (SC and NE).

Nope. Buns aren’t toasted, meat not that special, lettuce had the taste like it had been cut days ago and stored in a not so clean refrigerator then left out all day while waiting to be used, Cole slaw had WAY too much dill pickle. I LOVE “hole in the wall” places. This doesn’t match up

They do not serve gravy with hamburger steaks. We asked for gravy and onions and waitress never offered to tell us that they do not offer gravy. We had to go ask for refills. Waitress was not friendly at all.

Great food, but service is really bad sometimes. They can be very rude and if they get a little busy they will not answer the phone for call in orders. They will take phone off the hook. Best cheeseburgers in greenwood is why I keep going but there have been time I went to garden grill just because of how rude they spoke to me.

One of the few places in Greenwood you can get a "real" cheeseburger unlike those pre-frozen cooked patties everyone else around serves you. Good fries and slaw as well. Very attentive and friendly wait-staff. Overall high cost-benefit ratio.
