Yes, the food is oily. But, it's good!!!. I only go for the lunch special song basket. I've try the gizzards, hot dog, and more.I haven't been disappointed. However, the fried chicken wings are my favorite. The lemon pepper have me singing.

I love the food here! I was told about this spot by co-workers, and I absolutely love it! Quick and friendly service. Not far from my job. Haven't had a bad experience yet *knock on wood*. Great place to go for lunch. Prices aren't bad either. I usually get the shrimp and wings combo. Very good, especially lemon pepper! I'll probably be there one day this week. Try it if you haven't - you won't be disappointed.

I drove by today and seen they had gizzards for sale. I was in a mood and decided to go back and try it. Simple menu, several southern delicacies offered here, gizzards, livers, chicken wings, and hot dogs. I ordered my food, the gizzards, the lady did not tell me how long the wait would be so I stood outside. There are no tables or chairs so you will stand up. While I am standing there a local drunk rides by on a bike, literally stopped, got off his bike and came up to me. He was cordial and respectful enough, but he dis end it by asking me was I married and to watch out out here. Whatever that means. I told him to have a good day. Shortly after that someone else walked by and asked me did I have any cash to spare. I expected these things to happen, it is off of Two Notch Rd...it took 9 min to get my food which is phenomenal! The food was cooked on the spot. The tea was really sweet and they didn't over fill it with ice. The gizzards were awesome! Nice light crispy outside. The fries tasted homemade. Very soft though, which is how I like mine, so...$5 min to use debit card, no refunds. I gave this place a 3 despite the great food experience because there is no where to sit while you wait, and the outside is not maintained. It IS a hole in the wall joint though, soo....I would go back again.

Been eating here for years and the food is always what you’d expect. It’s hot, fresh and the food is very good. I’ve had everything from the gizzards, to the chili dogs and burgers. The food is cooked to order and never disappoints. Not sure what took me so long to review Anthony’s, but it’s a staple. I’d definitely recommend.

The fries are really good but if you don't like them salted to death you need to ask for no salt. We got a cherry soda and it was amazing!!! We got the #5 which is 2 chili dogs and fries. It was really good!!!!! I will be returning just asking no salt for sure!

My all time favorite gizzards were AMAZING as always! This is the true definition of a "Hood Classic"! Did I mention Anthony gave me one of my first jobs as a kid? I worked there around 20+ yrs ago, and the food is still just as consistently awesome as it was back then!
