My family of 5 came here tonight for the first time. It was well worth the almost $100 for us to eat. We would have spent the same amount at Olive Garden but with nowhere near as good of food. The waitress was so nice and even let our 7 year old go help run the debit card which made his night. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone and we will be back!

We eat at a Alodias weekly. I had never had a bad experience until Sunday for brunch. First our hostess didn’t even acknowledge us being there at the hostess stand for a couple minutes. She was on her phone. I understand things happen but she saw us standing there. Mind you it wasn’t busy maybe 5-7 other people in the restaurant. She seated us said she would be back to get our drink orders..... it took over 10 minutes for her to come and get our drink order. She has ZERO personality. It was 1:50 pm instead of the brunch menu I asked to see the lunch menu she told us she could not give it to us since she couldn’t leak the lunch speacial. So we waited 10 minutes until she would let us have the lunch menu. I love Alodias but this experience may not have us returning. Poor service, no personality should not be serving and or hostessing. Superb service and food. Took my wife out for her birthday and we both tried our favorite Italian dishes ( chicken marsala, and manicotti) they knocked it out of the park. Jes provided outstanding service and the rest of the staff was friendly and did everything they could to make it a wonderful Italian dining experience .Best Chicken marsala I ever tasted.

Great food, wonderful service Drove from NE to visit this place and we weren't disappointed. My husband enjoys Italian food, he had a mix of clams & sasauge that was quite good. We both enjoyed a crisp salad served with a chilled fork! I had bowtie pasta with shrimp, I'd recommend it Our server Megan was a delight. We had no room for dessert. It was worth the drive.

Wonderful and friendly staff! Excellent food! I had the duck and mushroom risotto and it was absolutely fantastic! I asked for my duck to be cooked just a bit over medium towards well done (don’t hate me, it just the way I like my duck) and the kitchen delivered! Definitely the best duck I’ve had! The tiramisu was also delightful! Our waitress, Madison, was awesome! She really made our visit special due to her attention to detail. I will definitely be back to dine here! Great authentic Italian in SC!

So sad to say my family and friends did not have the same good review as everyone else. We waited forever to be seated and were never seated. The hostess was kind enough to ask if we needed anything while we waited. Cant help but feeling we were overlooked. Would've loved to have tried the food. We ended up going next door to eat where I had a great birthday dinner with family and friends.

Really like the spaghetti sauces. Would like to see a more lean beef used or ground turkey so as not to have to pick gristle from my mouth in between chews. Sorry had to say it. It's twice I ordered the baked ziti and twice it has happened. Can't fix it if we don't tell you. Mentioned to my server. Your Salmon is awesome!

We arrived at 7:30pm with a party of 6. The staff informed us that we would be seated shortly but 50 minutes passed. Couples that walked in or a party of 4 was seated as soon as they entered the restaurant. If there was an issue accommodating for 6, we should have been informed. The entire time we waited we were never offered a drink or menu. After being seated, we also had to wait almost an additional 40 minutes before our entree came out. After talking to the manager, he gave excuses of the high volume and because it was Valentines Day. Acknowledging your customers is always key and great customer service plays a major part in a customers experience. The food was excellent but the customer service needs improvement.

Alodia's Cucina Italiana has excellent food. Incredibly flavorful and fresh. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The creme brulee was phenomenal! Incredibly smooth with a crisp, crunchy top. If you aren't going for anything else, go for the creme brulee! The atmosphere is super cozy. Even during the day, the interior is dim and has a romantic feel to it. Perfect for date night. The price is honestly not that bad for the quality and quantity of food you get here. Two people runs about $25-30 with drinks.

I’m a born and raised Italian from New York so I expect when you advertise Italian food it better be at the very least edible. This s not authentic Italian food. I had the chicken Marsala with angel hair pasta. It had a very strong Marsala taste you almost couldn’t taste the chicken at all. My husband had the chicken piccata with angel hair pasta or should I say a tablespoon of angel hair pasta. Again all you taste was the wine in the whole plate. Service sucked as well. Nicole was our server and we had to ask for bread that we noticed on every other table. Also every other table had glasses of water which would have been nice to wash all the alcohol down with from our food. Extremely pricey for extremely small portions. Basically we left still hungry and quite angry....

Only because I cannot give this place a zero stars, it gets 1. The service is deplorable by management. We waited over 45min for the manager to serve us a cocktail because the only server there was underrage. (She was extremely apologetic and sweet). However after many attempts to retrieve the manager we were told "he's still on the phone". We were the only customers in the restaurant for 95% of the time so there was no rush. When the manager appeared for a brief moment to fix something on computer he did not acknowledge us and immediately rushed back to office. We eat here weekly and never again. The food is not worth it for this type of service and not to mention how expensive it is. You would think that an empty restaurant on a Saturday would bend over backwards to serve customers and to make money.

Awesome customer service. About hr turnaround on food. Crabcakes great but all the lettuce on plate takes away from them, chicken parm was good. The disappointment was the dessert-tiramsu which I felt was rum cake....cake should be soaked in espresso and not a true cake and the frosting should not be chocolate icing but a fluffy with light layer $7.50 for that was a RIP off. A disappointment but this Italian is really picky bc my gram showed me and growing up in New York it was life. Ok place but priced alittle high for quality.

It's unassuming from the front but the food is phenomenal! The eggplant parmesan was delicious and I had blackened duck over pasta that was just incredible. We also had wine from a very nice selection. The desert was it creme brulee and it was as good as the rest of the meal. Don't pass this place up.

I have dined at Alodias three times now. Each experience was pleasant. The food is very well prepared and the service is wonderful . I would like to see the wine list expanded, but this is a personal preference as I am a bit of a connoisseur. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a lovely Italian meal.

Shared Lasagna & Bowtie Gratinata & not sure which one was better - both were superb. Also, we stumbled in on 'Tini Tuesday' $5./ Spcl martini's - ALL Day. Awesome. Great anniversary dinner

Ate here about 2 months ago. Several people in my party got sick and I had a stomach ache myself after eating it. Would not recommend. I would say either go to Carrabbas or Villa Tanco downtown. Both are cheaper and taste a lot better.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I think it really depends on what you are looking for in a restaurant,. The food was good. The appetizer was great. But the salad I ordered did not come with the ingredients on the menu (romaine lettuce, I got iceberg. Possibly due to the recent romaine recall, but it should have been mentioned). Their tiramisu was not traditional at all. Their menu should have reflected that. The ambient noise was very high, making conversation difficult. The kitchen delivery area is right there and the wait staff hover around it constantly. It takes up almost one entire side of the seating area. The tables are so close together the waitresses bump patrons as they walk past. However, if you enjoy the atmosphere they give, the food will go well with it. For my money, I will eat somewhere else.

Came here as a date night for dinner! Loved the atmosphere, definitely an adult setting. Lunch may be more kid friendly, but it was nice not to hear crying babies (we don't get away from our kids much). Loved the gouda cheese bread to start and main dishes were perfectly portioned and exceeded our expectations! We had already heard so many amazing things, so it was great that everything lived up to the hype! We will definitely be back! Attire: We dressed up in semi formal attire, but the atmosphere caters to casual as well. Enjoy!!

This place is ridiculously good. The food, atmosphere, and staff are amazing. I’m so glad that they’ve opened a second location in Lexington. The Duck Gorgonzola is one of my favorite dinner meals, the prosciutto sandwich for lunch, and the pork chop biscuits and gravy for brunch. Adam, Ryan, and staff do an amazing job! If you’re looking for a great meal at an authentic restaurant, Alodia’s is your place. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I love this place! It's a solid Italian restaurant that has some delicious chicken and pasta dishes. Great service as well. I wish they gave olive oil with their bread, but I'm just being picky. The entrance is unassuming and misleading, don't judge alodias by it's "cover"!

At first glance, it’s nice with soft lighting. I loved the candle light, the open kitchen, and the bartender did an excellent job on my drink. However, my date night was ruin with my husband. We were seated at the table by the hosted. While we were waiting to be served, I noticed this one waitress going back and forth to the table behind us. She then goes to walk across the room to another couple’s table; mind you she has to pass our table. She does this numerous times and the one time she wasn’t busy; she went and stood at the cash register. She leaves the cash register to go back and service the table behind us; again. At this time, 10mins has gone by and nobody has been to our table. Nobody has asked us if would like something to drink or noticed us for that matter. Now it’s 20mins, and the one young lady noticed us. She asked if anybody has been to our table, we said no. The funny thing about it, she spoke with another waitress who, spent her time talking at the bar. Long story short, the waitress I think her name was Nicole( if not); hun you rocked. You weren’t even on the floor but decided to come check on us. How someone who was in the back noticed us or how the hostess didn’t think to let someone know we had been seated after about 10mins; is mind boggling. The lady who kept passing us was an older lady, who should’ve known better. I thought of a lot of reasons, why we weren’t serviced; I may be wrong but hey what else to think. And by the way, we left a very good tip. We will never return, because the behavior and mannerisms left a lasting taste in my mouth. I can’t believe it’s a big accent wall based on family. Wow! Thanks but no thank you. I won’t be back everrrrrrrerrrrrr!

My dinner was made wrong. I asked for light lemon juice on my chicken and they brought out the chicken picatta with light sauce. The first guy offered to bring more sauce, which didn't fix the lemon issue. Then the bartender came over questioning me again as if no one could understand what I was asking or I was being unreasonable for disputing their work. NEITHER APOLOGIZED. FINALLY it was corrected and we were enjoying our meal. I ordered a cup of coffee to go with my birthday cake (as we were there for my birthday). When I finished it, I found a lemon seed in the bottom of the cup! That was beyond rude, sophomoric, and vengeful. I felt violated and questioned what might have been in my food that I didn't know about?! If management accepts this kind of behavior, we won't be back.

Per favore! Seriously? We just moved to SC, and we love Italian. We went to Alodia's, because everyone raves about it. What a letdown. Perhaps y'all have never experienced AUTHENTIC Italian. This is definitely NOT it. We all ordered completely different dishes, yet they all tasted exactly the same. Hamburger and bottled Ragu sauce from the grocery store. Please, per favore! Where are all you Italians out there with your mama's recipes??? Where is the Spinaci? Spaghetti Alla Carbonara? I asked, but the waiter stared at me blankly. Like I was speaking ITALIAN or something crazy like that.

One hour drive but well worth it. Sons favorite restaurant. One of the top in the state. This Italian restaurant is just the best. Seafood, chicken, pasta, salads. They now have 2 locations in Columbia. Nice small bar area good selection of wines and favorite cocktails. Staff is very kind. Highly recommend for wonderful dinner or lunch.

There were four of us women for lunch at Alodia's today. It is so special to go there as we all have our favorites. It seemed to be more crowded than usual. Also there were only two servers and someone we guessed was the manager. We placed our orders and then the wait began. At 50 minutes we complained to our server and also the young man we guessed was the manager. They both separately said it would be out shortly. Never one word of apology...Not "we are so sorry could we bring you some bread or something while you wait.". Or so sorry but we are understaffed today. This is a wonderful restaurant. It just seems that the staff should be better trained to handle those times when there are more diners than servers can handle. I will still give this restaurant 5 stars. We all have bad days.

Place was recommended for great food I was not so impressed nor was my family ..it was ok and edible but not to the level of excellence they portray compared to NY Italian food. Sauce was ok chicken parm is always an easy dish to perfect and it was mediocre just nothing wow and their was 7 people in my family that agreed with all different dishes. Overall Very Good! The food is made to order, so you should be able to customize whatever you want, like the risotto. So if you want to, for example, remove mushrooms, you can, which is nice. The dessert we had, the cobbler cheesecake, was a little odd because there was too much going on with it, but all of the other food was good. The shining star, however, was the service. Our waitress, I think her name was Emily, was really awesome, so the that definitely made up for the weird dessert. Very desserving of 5 stars! Would definitely recommend and eat again

Food was delicious, fresh and the kitchen did not have us waiting. There was a party of 2 tables about 30 people and you wouldn't have known it as the noise level was good and the kitchen handled all diners with ease. Our waitress was Nicole and she was trained well. My husband has a food allergy and she was especially careful, alerted the kitchen, as well as being very attentive without being overwhelming. We will return!
