First thank you for accommodating us with a special circumstance without question! First time at the restaurant, sat outside and enjoyed a very delicious lunch. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The menu had plenty of options, portions were perfect. It was amazingly good!

I chose a three course dinner. The sandwich made my mouth bleed and gave me sores all over my mouth and throat and I think belly. I brought this to the waiter's attention, he asked me if I wanted the remaining sandwich to go. I showed him bloody napkins and said, no! I couldn't believe they charged me for a sandwich that made my mouth bleed. And what the heck was in that sandwich anyways!

Great taco place in Providence! Service was good, quick and the tacos were fresh. I particularly liked the shrimp diablo tacos. My wife had the margaritas, which were big. Would definitely visit again.

This place makes me and my wife happy. Right after our daughter was born she craved their tacos. Luckily Xaco was nearby. Their tacos are great. Their bowls are amazing. Their desserts never disappoint. Highly recommended.

I went here for lunch, the shrimp tacos were very tasty, but the service left a lot to be desired. They brought pitchers of water but we had to ask for glasses. When our meals were put on the table we had to request silverware, twice and our appetizer came 10 minutes after our meal. The food was good enough I think I will give it another try, I hope the service will be better next time.

Amazing food. Food drinks. Incredibly slow service. It’s a little secluded, especially if you sit outside. I ordered the queso fundido, which I never got. The hibiscus ginger agua fresca was good. We were a table of 7, and I understand the complexity that comes with such a large group, but service this slow is not good. All in all, if you have time, great place. Would not recommend as a quick bite.

Is there a 0 star rating...dislike this place. Waited and waited for 45 minutes after being told it would only be a 20 minute wait. Then once we were seated. We were ignored while other tables got drinks and chips. Ended up walking out and telling the manager what horrible service it was. He shrugged his shoulders and could care less.

The 3$ taco was very small, Ordered a ranch water drink which was put together very quick .The bartender wasn't friendly maybe a long day ? I showed up around 10pm . The ornaments of the place are cool and interesting after 10pm the menu is very small . The guacamole tasted very authentic and fresh not from a can or a plastic bag.

The carne de Chile verse tocas are sooo good. Tender beef and great flavors. The cabinero hot sauce is a great complementary addition. For some reason the staff were a little off, otherwise would have been 5 stars.

The food is fantastic but the service at the high top tables by the bar is terrible. They take forever with the drinks. The wait staff seemed bored and not thrilled to be working the two times I have bern. If the service improved this place would be five stars hands down becausw the food is amazing.

Food was good! Drinks were fantastic! Our server was the absolute worst. Checked on us once, was pretty terse. The table next to us was seated 10 minutes after us and was a significantly larger group and they received their appetizer before us AND their meal before us. It's a shame we didn't have their server at our table because he was absolutely fantastic. Asked for a refill of our water pitcher and our server took it, filled it (I watched him fill it) and then never brought it back to the table. I watched how he interacted with his other tables and they got decent and timely service.

Vegan options. 10 kinds of mix and match tacos, plus excellent starters. Seafood, meat, and veggie options. Agua frescas if you're not drinking; pineapple mint and tamarind pear are my faves. Late night and afternoon $2 taco specials on certain fillings. Always excellent service!

The $2 from 3 to 5 are pretty good. They have 4 different $2 tacos to choose from. I miss when they served the street corn in a bowl, now they serve street corn as corn-on-the-cob. I mean, it looks prettier but the corn in the bowl tasted better for some reason and was less messy to eat. Never seem to have to wait for seating which is nice. The bartenders seem really nice. The breakfast huevos rancheros are really friggin spot on ❤❤❤ so tasty! I had a casual coworker baby shower here a few months ago and they did a great job with our group even though there were like 16 of us.

It was Taco Tuesday & I wanted to try a new spot and let me tell y'all - Xaco Taco did NOT disappoint!!! Good location and parking is decent. The food was phenomenal (I had seconds) and the service was very good. Great drink options (the mango classic margarita is a house favorite) and the food is very fresh and made from scratch. I also appreciated all of the vegan/vegetarian options. They also have $2 tacos every day from 3pm-5pm and have a late night option. I would definitely recommend :)

The late night $2 taco is a great choice of late night snack. They use coconut milk and add strawberry cereal to tres leches cakes, which makes a great combination.

Service was good. Food was strange. Asked for a salad topped with fajita steak but the bartender suggested some kind of seasoned beef. The meat was a bit dry and the "croutons" were crusty little deep fried bits (of bread?) that I tried to eat around. Great atmosphere, however, for drinking.

I always enjoy the tacos and cocktails. The tacos are always made with fresh, high quality ingredients and are skillfully prepared. Their fish tacos are particularly good as are the avocado tacos. The cocktails are delicious and creative. The only drawback is that the service is inconsistent. It can be very slow even when it isn't crowded.

Food was good. Decor is nice. Service was nonexistent. It is a very laid-back atmosphere, I wouldn't go here if I was looking for a quick meal. We had to ask for glasses and for silverware (twice). She never checked on our table and we (of course) had to chase her down for the check. Pity really, otherwise it would have been nice...

Note to ownership. You own a business that has enough room for 10 outdoor tables. And have garage doors. Why do you have 4 tables set up outside when it is 80 out? You had a line of people that left due to no outdoor seating. You had 4 tables out there. 2 were occupied and the other 2 just had ppl sharing a drink standing around the other 2. Get it together. Learn your demographic. Its Providence and there is only limited time per year to enjoy having a meal outside. And you have the means to do so between the outdoor space and the garage doors you have CLOSED.

Food is great service is non-existent. Unfortunately the manager has no care for his staff or patrons as his response to customers is controversial and downright rude. Waited over 30 minutes for a sever and then a substantial amount of time for our drinks on a slow day. Won’t ever survive with this staff!

First off let me just say the food was amazing. This was the 3rd time I’ve been there and I’m always happy with the food. The service however, was horrible. We started off our meal with some disgusting water glasses which the server did replace so whatever things happen, I get it. Then after we ordered our food the outdoor patio must have a bee infestation as we were swarmed with bees causing my son to jump up and smash a glass, we informed our server and asked to be seated inside to avoid the bees. I understand the glass breaking is not ideal for the server and I apologized. But the attitude from the server was disrespectful. Not only did we not get seated back inside, we carried all our plates and water glasses inside ourselves and just picked a random seat as we asked him where he would like us to go and he just walked away. From then on during the whole meal did we ever see him again. He was no where to be found, didn’t check on us to give us more water after ours was gone and also never went back outside to clean up the glass that someone could of easily been cut on. It was on the floor. Once again the food was great but I am in disbelief of the service.

Where to start!??? This place was amazing. Great street tacos with really foodie choices. We had tried three: baja fish, crispy avocado, and carnitas and we could not pick a favorite! We also had the queso + chorizo and duck taquitos, which were so good. Also, the salsa was some of the best we have had. Top that off with great local beer and fun margarita flavors and our meal was complete. If you are a local and you haven't yet tried this place, then I feel bad for you. Check it out!

Food is decent - service is non existent. Restaurant was dead- took 20 minutes for a flat diet coke, and another 20 minutes for one that was less flat. Beer sat opened at the bar - no waiter to be found- we picked it up ourselves. Seemed like no manager works there, and no one cares. Bot going back.

The flavors of the tacos were good, but the service left a lot to be desired. For one, we went there for the $2 tacos from 3-5 PM and then got charged full price for all tacos. But the most frustrating part of the experience was that several of the waiting staff we experienced were half-baked and only partially coherent. I understand that medical marijuana use is legal in Rhode Island, so I must assume that all the staff are working under difficult labor conditions causing medical conditions needing treatment. Maybe someone should give OSHA a call.

Interesting place, if you can hear yourself over the music! I met a couple friends here for a bite to eat, and enjoyed the food, but not as much as I had hoped. The portions were a bit on the small side, but you can order a side of grasshoppers for your taco, so there is that! Service was a bit slow for us (despite it being somewhat slow that night), but I can forgive that since there were six of us. It's a nice place to get some "real" Mexican food, instead of a chain fast-food restaurant.

Food is pretty good - service is soooo slow. The staff are nice, but very slow. Waited over 15 minutes for drinks and who knows how long for food. Ordered a dip for a sandwich and took over 10 minutes. The way this is decorated is pretty cool, very modern and authentic. However, bathrooms are gross. Toilet paper and two dirty diapers on the ground. But it’s a good place for a casual night out.
