Used to have one in North Providence but they closed it but this one is also easy to get to on the bus and probably is my preferred location now roast beef is a lot better than it’s national competitor Will keep them out of Rhode Island so we can keep you guys in

Excellent place to eat. Quality food, good prices, fast service. A surprise was their Fish & Chips on Wednesday & Friday. Made with super fresh Haddock. Large portions and quality of their frying oils really shows here. Strongly recommend Walt's Roast Beef restaurants.

We have always been loyal customers. We go for fish and chips almost every week. besides that, we have been eating there for the last 20 years. Very rarely have we had an issue and when we did, it was taken care of right away. So all that being said, about a month ago, we ordered from the Reservoir avenue location. When we got home and took out our food, everything was burnt. We called and a man named John told us that we are able to get a replacement meal and just give them receipt when we decide to come in. He was very nice but we found later that he wasn't a manager. Went to get our meal and was told by Stacey Julie had just taken over 7-8-18. Talked to her and she was ignorant and told us we will not get another meal. We will never go back there thanks to Julie.

Couldn't remember why I wasn't fond of going here. Now I remember why. I get my deluxe with ranch instead of mayo and get charged for the ranch as an "extra sauce." That is so stupid. Why pay for a different sauce because i do not like mayo? Even if they make a mistake and still put mayo on it (which is often), they will still charge me for the ranch to replace the mayo when they remake the sandwich. I have not been anywhere else that will charge for an equal substitute. Employee attitude here isn't the greatest either. Luckily, the food is good.

Been going to this place for roast beef sandwiches and Fish and Chips for years. Quality and quantity are better than most other choices in the area unless you want to spend a great deal more . The prices here are a value. you can eat in or do take out. The fish on Fridays goes quick.

Don't go unless you want the employees to decide what you are going to eat. Ordered one roast beef, and two turkey sandwiches. Left and took it home. I actually got two huge roast beef deluxe and one turkey. Not even close to what I ordered. Oh, and I was the only person in the building with 3 employees. Do your job!

Friendly staff is the only positive. The Thanksgiving sandwich is the only decent menu item now. Walt's is desperately in need of investment in updated menu item *quality*, facility and decor. They need to take a hard look at their target market and competitors and step up their game.

This place was absolutely dead when I came in to place a lunch order. I don't know why people dont flock in here-i found the place to be very clean and bright. Friendly woman took my order and even offered suggestions when I had trouble deciding what I wanted. Best Thanksgiving sandwich and French fries. Cole slaw tasted like it sat too long before served. Great meal and service!

If your going to get fast food this is the place to go... It's healthy fresh lean roast beef... they Also serve pastrami, turkey and fish and chips...I get the Walt's Yukon it's roast beef with a sweet special sauce.. the atmosphere is a little dated and simple but what more do you really need other than a clean table and booth..

The atmosphere isn't what you go to Walt's for. This Walt's Roast Beef location is the only one to go to; the others don't match the quality of food of this one. Best roast beef sandwiches I have ever had. The fish and chips on Wed/Fri is amazing also. Tip: Bring cash to avoid card fees.
