Always a great meal at Vetrano's! The entrees are delicious and the pizza is the best around. The wait staff is helpful and curteous. If you're ever in Westerly, RI, and you like Italian food, you won't go wrong at Vetrano's!

Ordered pizza and then you get one for $5 it was a thin crust had no taste hardly any sauce and very cheesy on the cheese. They used to be very good...however not this time maybe they changed the receipt.

the best gluten free pasta dish i've ever had! the portion size was great for the price, pasta was perfectly cooked, and i could've drank the alfredo sauce straight. the staff was friendly and service was fast and efficient. will definitely be going here again soon!

I met an old friend for lunch at Vetrano's. It's in a strip shopping center, but don't let that deter you. It was at 12:30 on a Monday, so it was not busy. The server was pleasant and efficient and gave us time to select. We all ordered dinners, since it was going to be our main meal for the day. I ordered Chicken Vetrano in linguine noodles. It was absolutely delicious, and a large portion. Chicken, spinich , basil, prosciutto , and mozzarella in a red sauce. The restaurant is clean and the food fresh. I highly recommend it!

We're very impressed with Vetrano's lately. My wife had linguine with clams and sent kudos back to the kitchen, and I constructed a fabulous prosciutto, sun-dried tomato, and artichoke pizza. Their medium size is a normal large, but in six pieces. The minestrone was fresh and delicious too. Ingredients make all the difference.

Ordered garden salads with chicken on them. Left out the most important part.. the chicken. This is not once, not twice, not even three but four times we have had this problem. Will likely be the last time I eat here due to incompetency of simple directions on an order.

I'll start this review off simple. Vetrano's has great food, so much so that I will drive from my company's office in Stonington to get pizza in Westerly here, and drive it back home to New London. The pizza is really, really good here. It's all fresh, and made to order with a good variation of choices, buffalo chicken, meat lovers, veggie, and other types as well as their famous 'grandma's pizza'. I'm not so much a fan of it myself simply due to the tomatos instead of sauce. But many of my friends enjoy it - it's kind of a pizza without red sauce, with a light amount of white sauce, tomato puree mixed on top with cheese. My personal recommendations are the meat lovers, and vodka sauce ziti pizza - which sounds weird on paper, but tastes awesome in practice! If you are considering this or any other local pizza place, or Domino's/chain Pizzerias (which don't get me wrong, I love Domino's too), give this one a try!

Replaced mild peppers for hot cherry peppers. Staff told person ahead of us in line was told they were out of vinegar peppers and only had hot cherry. We figured we called in just in time and got the last of them. Nope, our pizza was unedible (especially dangerous for my elderly parents). Unable to pick off either because peppers are cut to a fine dice and hidden beneath the cheese. Forced to share one pizza (roni&mushroom) and the pepperoni was weird but edible. Not a good experience like I have had in the past.

Food was fantastic I went with my two children 4 and 1/2 + 1 and 1/2. The service was not the best I think the waitress was having an off night or just because I had two little children. She made up with it with some free desserts and took something off which I do not really like but I was polite and accepted it.

Exquisite! They brought special rolls and garlic oil to keep us busy while we took our time deciding. Started with apps of meatballs and eggplant rollotini which came out hot, just right texture, taste , the red gravy was not to be left! Loved my Cobb Salad with garlic house dressing, not kidding about the garlic! Salad filled with everything good, grilled chicken cooked perfectly. Sister ordered seafood fettuccine with a heavenly creamy brandy sauce kissed by the sea....we both said "someone knows what their doing!" Memorable meal, great service!

We have already sampled their New York style pizza and really enjoyed it. We were in the area again so we stopped in there and this time I tried the Veal Parmesan. Truly, it was the best veals parm that I have ever had. The toasted sesame bread was outstanding. So crusty and tasty. The veal was very tender and delicious. I would eat there again in a heartbeat. Friendly staff, comfy seats, and best of all great food!!

Went on a Friday night. Not exceptionally busy but we had to wait because there was 6 in our party. Got a salad and pizza. Took almost an hour to get our pizza. The Salas dressing was awful. Didnt finish my salad. The pizza was not good at all. Very disappointed as I always loved this place. Service was slow and they messed up one of our orders. Only good thing was the bread. Very disappointed!

Thank you just doesn't say enough for our dinner tonight.. We started with a reservation of 12 that increased to 15.... Any other restaurant would have balked at that point but you opened your arms wider. . Our waitress was amazing.. I don't know how many tables she had besides us but she treated us like we were her only table.. Dinner was wonderful and even the 5 children ate like they were home... We celebrated 4 birthdays and an anniversary... We had a wonderful time... Thank you for everything..

Very disappointed with the pepperoni pizza, sauce had no flavor and just a sprinkle of pepperoni. We literally only ate two slices and left the rest there. The service and the waitress were wonderful though.

The best Italian food in the area bar none! Very nice and pleasant staff, super value for the money. Breakfast the next was as tasty as the night before( tasty leftovers ). Eggplant parmesan appetizer big enough for a main dish, Veal Sorentino with leftover and we even took the salad and the lemon marskapon cream cake home. All fantastic. If you need a break from seafood (which they also have in abundance) this restaurant has your number. $91.80 total with two glasses of wine two appetizers two mains and two desserts with salads, a feast!

I feel like I'm in an alternate reality when I read reviews of this place. I've tried it twice in the last 7 months because I thought my first try must've been a fluke, and both times the pizza has been terrible. In fact our second trip is probably the worst pizza I've ever had apart from maybe a microwaved Party Pizza (but at least then you know what you're getting yourself into and you probably spent $2). Soggy, almost no toppings or sauce , and just a mess. Super disappointing. Glad we've got a few better options around. Maybe they have other good food, but the pizza is a huge let down.

This place is absolutely incredible. The service was outstanding, our bartender was excellent. He took great care of us all night. But the FOOD is TO DIE FOR! The complimentary bread was absolutely delicous, especially dipped in the roasted garlic olive oil...oh my god...everything we ordered was just perfect. BRAVO to the chef! I was looking to send trays of food to a family in Westerly who had a death in the family. I called the night before, and spoke with the most personable young man. He wasn't sure they could do it, but would check. The manager called me in the AM, and kindly assured me that they could. In less than 8 hours, three huge trays of food and salad and bread were delivered to the house of the grieving family. They could not have been more appreciative, and they said the food was absolutely delicious!! The staff at Vetranos went above and beyond to accommodate me, and my urgent request, and I am so very grateful. The service and quality of food was top notch. Thank you Vetrano's for your kind, professional, courteous service and to the chef for providing high quality delicious food. Next time I'm in Westerly, I'll be in!!

Very popular place, here for a dozen years! Easy to park and a short wait til we got our seats on a cold Saturday night. We got sample slices of thin crust pizza while we waited and the Salad was much better than average. Main courses and specials all sounded so delicious that we had trouble making up our minds. Smells terrific, happy families and couples....awaiting the food right now. Try it you'll like it!
