I visited this restaurant during restaurant week and no doubt I’ll be back. We enjoyed a three course meal that is available throughout the year. Every thing we ate was absolutely delicious from the bread all the way to the cannoli I choose for dessert.

Excellent experience. Valet parking, great atmosphere, extremely friendly, kind staff, accommodating to children, amazing food. The new vegan items are listed right on the menu, no fumbling to try to "veganize" something. The entire party, from experienced foodies to the kids, loved their meals. There is no other restaurant meeting all of these criteria, and to have it on Federal Hill is amazing!

Impromptu stop - we had a wonderful dinner and time at Trattoria Zooma! My daughter loves pasta and they have homemade pasta - that my daughter said was amazing. I tried the eggplant pizza and it was delicious. Our waitress,Kaitlyn, had all the tables in our area and she managed them seemlessly and with a smile and kind words. The lava cake dessert topped off the night. My daughter posted pics on social media of her meal and dessert and many asked where she was - I hope they all have an opportunity to enjoy your restaurant!

3 stars for food, it's good but nothing over the top. 2 stars though because I learned not to let them take your food back and box it up, they took my pasta and salmon back and i sent back a decent amount because I was full and when I got home they threw away the salmon meat and just gave me the greens and skin back. Like what's even the point, why would you do that? Bartender was good though so you cant be upset with the wait staff but something's wrong in the kitchen

As a semi-vegan, I need honey for medicinal purposes, I enjoy Trattoria Zooma as often as I can. The service is excellent! The vegan dishes I've eaten have been excellent! This is very important as I have digestive problems that can hospitalize me. There are many restaurants I can't eat in. I guess you could say I trust Trattoria Zooma with my life.

Amazing saltimbocca, picatta, and linguine in clam sauce! Best saltimbocca I ever had, the sage was an awesome touch. The picatta was lemony without any bitterness and the flavor profile was on point. Our waitress was impeccable. Kind, prompt and accommodating of our party of 7 with two small children. Homemade pasta was great! The creme brulee was very good, I feel the sugar was a bit thick. The space was bigger than expected and all of the staff was helpful and kind especially for Columbus day weekend on the Hill. It was loud fyi.

Best lunch special I've ever experienced! There was so much delicious food and the handmade pasta was incredible. We tried the meatballs and the eggplant as appetizers. Great portions and cooked perfectly. We got the bolognese and a spicy sausage and peas (I can't remember the name) and substituted with the handmade tagliatelle and farfalle pasta. Perfectly cooked and al dente with a very generous portion of meat and sauce. We tried the pistachio gelato which was to die for and we tried the salted caramel gelato too. The salted caramel was a little crystalline for us but the flavor was great. Since it was Tuesday we shared a half off bottle of amazing Italian wine. We were so full and happy at the end of our meal. Our waitress was fantastic and so helpful. We were so pleased with our experience there and singly recommend you go!

A new must-do in Providence. The food was delicious and the atmosphere charming. The wait staff was very knowledgeable in the menu and welcoming to guests. Homemade pasta on the premises! Small bar. Parking? Well that's another story. Located in the heart of Little Italy. Should treat yourself to a walk around the area.

The pasta was really tasty and nicely cooked. However, the assortment of cheese and meat antipasto was awful. The pickled veggies in the antipasto seemed as if they were straight out of a can and the meats were dry. Margarita pizza was amazing. Prices were pretty high.

A good restaurant in Providence downtown. Quality of service as well as of food is great. Waiters are professional and they employ good ingredients. Really enjoyed eating there. The place, though, is a bit lackluster and dim. It does not diminish the overall quality but I would have preferred more light and a lie cheerful mood, after all it's meant to represent Italy.

Best Italian on Atwells! I’ve been here for lunch several times and figured it was time to leave a review. The food is consistently excellent, and I really appreciate the extra effort to make their own pasta (it’s a constant frustration for me when I go to Italian restaurants that don’t make any of their pasta in house— come on, gnocchi at least! It’s so easy!). Also, they have prosciutto de San Danielle which in my mind is the mark of a true authentic Italian spot. And of course the service was also warm and helpful. Definitely recommend!

The first sign of trouble was a salad dressed (seemingly) with nothing but vinegar. Completely inedible. The sound system has a subwoofer which is about the only speaker you can hear thumping throughout your meal. I take that back; you can also hear the audio of the television over the bar. So you get the sound of a football game ON TOP of opera. We cancelled both main courses, paid for the pickled salad and wine, and left.

I went here with my family that was visiting from NY. All I will say is that they have mice and one of the waiters stomped on one right in front of us. I guess the one star is for the great service and decent food. Our waitress was the best but it doesn’t change the fact that they had mice running around the restaurant.

VEGANS beware! They were asked to make a dish vegan, and they did not. Ended up in the hospital for over a month with swollen face, eyes and lips. This happened a little after I ate a dish they claimed they made vegan. They were contacted by my family to let them know if eggs or animal products were used so that I could be properly treated, and it took them a month and a half to send the information. Even then, they only sent half the information covering up the part where it states the pasta was made in a place that uses eggs. Their vegan options are not vegan by any means and they are duplicitous. My body does not feel the same since as I’ve been a vegan my whole life. This place will kill you and they won’t think a second about what they have done as long as they have your money. If it’s not 100% vegan, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Anyone giving this place 3 or more stars DO NOT know authentic Italian food

This wasn't my idea of a great italian meal. For the price ($$$) you would expect alot more. They do make there own pasta but the sauces we're bland. Wine selection was very good (all Italian) but prices were extensive. Atmosphere was decent and service was decent. It's a nice spot on the hill, but with the amount of amazing Italian food in the state, can't say I'm in any rush to go back

Federal Hill is noted for its fine Italian restaurants. This particular one features excellent wait staff serving from a nice Italian menu. Homemade pastas, great wine list (Italian wines only), good selection of antipasti. I wasn't thrilled with the techno music and would suggest that the lobster tail should have been served with drawn butter but other than that, very pleased. Daily specials and complimentary valet parking.

Food= AMAZING. The chairs? SCARY. Do NOT sit at the tables with the wooden chairs if you are overweight, pregnant, elderly, or have any health issues or physical disabilities. Sit at the bar--its safer. I sat in one of their wooden chairs and there were screws literally protruding from the sides, that I inadvertently scraped my fingers against. Those chairs were SO rickety and unstable!! Afraid I might break one I asked for another chair. They gave me another one, luckily. Not so lucky were two people in the party I was with, one being my poor husband. Two of the chairs literally splintered out from underneath my husband, and about a half hour later again to another gentleman in our party. Both men fell backwards onto the floor. Thankfully we were all good sports about it, and the restaurant comped my husband's meal, but still. Such a fancy place with such amazingly good food should not have such subpar, and UNSAFE seating. Any other group of people with a stick up their you know what could have really reaked havoc for this restaurant. Maybe just do take out? The food is worth the visit.
