My cousin had a gift certificate for this place, so my hubby, my other cousin and myself went with her for the first time. The place was beautiful, very comfortable and service was great. Food was delicious.

This was a favorite spot of ours for a long time. Food is delicious. Tonight was a different story. Food was good, not great. Service was uncharacterically bad. The waiter, Chris, seemed as if he didn't want to be there. He took one drink order and our dinner order. We never saw him again until we got the check. Never offered cheese or pepper for our entrees and didn't even try to ask us if we wanted dessert which we did. Very disappointed.

Food is delicious, but it took them a half hour to give me a single meatball and a stuffed pepper. I would've understood if it was made to order, but it's all pre-cooked in a deli case. If you're on your lunch break, like I was, call ahead. I got back to my desk in time for my lunch break to end. I didn't end up with time to eat.

Professional catering to customers is falling wayside, we with group of 8 people with (twins) had reservation at 7:30 pm, made us wait until 8:10 and when we asked for how much more time still did not have any definite ETA for us.

I usually give 3 to 5 stars on average. But if you are going to charge 24 dollars per plate then it should be fabulous. Chicken parmigiana and chicken franchise were both under cooked and sauce on chicken parmigiana tasted like tomato soup. Very disappointed in food quality for the money. Drinks were decent , but not worth the money. And I eat at a lot of places in RI and across the state.

I hate that I missed hearing her name because she was amazing. The food was just as great as always....fresh pasta, nicely cooked meat and great cocktails!

Amazing Italian restaurant for those who really enjoy the dining experience. I’ve been a few dozen times, none of which has disappointed. Great for dates, family events, and work dinners. Parking can be tight though.

Great dining experience. I recommend a reservation because it is very busy! The food is amazing and they have great specials. They even have a vegetarian menu. I looked at the menu before going because it was a lot to take in. It was a little warm at one point during our meal. Our serve had to leave due to an emergency but the backup servers were amazing and stepped right in! All around recommended highly!

The difference between food preparation by a cook verses a chef is more than apparent with every bite. The perfect blend of site and sound combined with a professional server further contributed to my five star rating. You'll be hard pressed to silently enjoy the chef's amazing cuisine as a plethora of flavors activate your taste buds.

This is a relatively cheap pretending to be Italian. The ingredients are not fresh and Parmesan cheese is a powdered, not a real thing. It’s just very bad - oil that comes with Bread has no flavor and filled with Parmesan Powder. No flavors at all at all.

Food fine, service meh. Arrived at 7:20 for 7:30 reservation. Seated at 7:50 (other party of 2 who arrived after us seated first). Drinks arrived at 8:15. We siezed the opportunity and ordered food. Next time we saw waiter was 8:45 who asked if we needed fresh parmesan. A bit too late, kid. Dessert arrived at 9:15. Bolted at 9:30. Might be back. This review blows my new year's resolution to be kind.

Went there on Easter Sunday with a party of 8, reservations were made a month or more out. They had an Easter dinner special but everyone ordered from the normal menu. I had a wedge salad and rotini al forno, it was excellent. Everyone said the same about their meals and half went home with leftovers. Prices were typical for what you'd expect for a nice Italian restaurant, $20+ average per dinner. The place was a little loud but it was packed so that's no fault of Trattoria's.

Well Easter has come and gone and this year we chose TR. Quite an excellent experience, period. The restaurant and bar area has (somehow at the same time) a feeling of open roomieness (roominess? IDK, spellcheck locks up on that one) and privacy. Our service was above the fold, we were served promptly after being seated, and the speedy arrival of our meals was noteworthy. The young man who was our server had a phenomenal memory, not once did I see a pad or pen despite numerous orders of wine, appetizers, and entreés for four. My dish was excellent though I'm blanking on the actual Name of the plate. And the bread served at our table was one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of eating! Warm, with a thick crust and a light, airy, holey interior, and it had a subtle sourdough-type flavor that had our waiter running back to the kitchen to get for us several times. Parking is of little concern, the building is located within a large commercial park, directly across Rte.116 from the northernmost entrance to Lincoln Mall. Seconds from Rte.146 and mere minutes to I-295 the restaurant is next to the former location of Wendy's. Yeah, nod to the natives there...

The veal parm was phenomenal,and I also had plenty left over for breakfast this morning! My boyfriend is very hard to please as far as food goes, and he absolutely loved the grilled salmon. We were visiting from Mississippi and this will certainly be our new go to place for a great meal. I also loved the pear sangria that my daughter suggested,so light and fruity. My grandson loves the bread pudding,but I found it a little well done and chewy,kind of on the bland side. I recommend Trattoria Romana to anyone with a hard to please pallet,as they have something for everyone, along with wonderful evening specials.
