Love Village Haven. We go for the all you can eat chicken and it never disappoints. The full menu is pretty limited so I have never been tempted to order something else. We like it better than Wright's because 1. You don't feel like cattle being hearded through a pen 2. cinnamon buns with dinner rolls are an amazing idea 3. The salad is better 4. Complimentary soup on weeknights is a delicious addition 5. Kids under 5 eat free YES PLEASE!

This place is great, I went there for a banquet for my daughter's cheerleading team bc they had come in 1st place in all of their competitions and they had also came in 1 st in U. S. Finals. They were 2018 U. S Champions so they had a banquet there and the food was great and the staff was great as well. The hall they have is very nice and a good size. I only had the chance to see the main dining area for a few seconds when I passed through but it was packed and with mainly families and you can just tell with feeling and vibe that you get going in that it's a family oriented restaurant.

I'd rate this place five stars if they changed their silver ware and glass ware from the 80s, and if water didn't taste like tap. Even so, you simply cannot beat the family style chicken

I have been coming here for over 20 years. The cinnamon buns are so good. You can even buy a bag of them to take home. Go for the all you can eat chicken. It is reasonably priced and won't disappoint. It comes with pasta, fries, salad, and a little hoodsie cup ice cream. On week days that aren't busy, you also have your choice of 2 soups. I have even rented out the basement for a party on several occassions. So whether you want to just go out to dinner or need a place for many people, this is the place to go.

Horrible experience. Waitress 0 personality and rude, nice busboy though I felt bad for him working there!! Salad wilted, tasted like an out of date bag salad, fish undercooked, Italian powdered like breadcrumbs on top also uncooked, should have known better. Worst of all it was expensive. I was sick for 2 days after. Should have went next door to lindys but it was packed. No wonder. Never ever ever would go there again!

Haven't been here in over 6 years. Went the other night and the service and food was exceptional. The chicken was do tender and juicy it was great. I wouldn't go during busy times because it can seem over crowded. That's my only negative here, just seemed packed in and cramped. Overall it was a very great dining experience.

This place has more than children. I love sitting at the bar and watching Sports with a beer or two. You can eat a the bar and or take it to go. They have mastered the art of packing your take out to keep it hot and not spill it. From steamer to soup and everything in between! I prefer this place over Wright's Farm any day. Never disappointed and love the menu!!

A group of 5 of us stopped in after a 3D archery shoot while driving home looking for a non-chain food mom and pop restaurant. We all had the all you can eat pot roast which awesome. The portion they brought out was so big you really didn't need seconds (although some of us did because it was so good). The cinnamon rolls served were great. Five grown men left completely full and satisfied for $100 including the tip. Great value and even better food and service. We'll be back for sure the next time we're up that way!

Very busy place, better than the other chicken place down the street as they serve the staple family style chicken dinner, but include cinnamon rolls along with a soup station on Fridays. And the price is comparable to other restaurants in the area. They also serve other meals and on Sunday they serve all you can eat Yankee Pot Roast.

Chicken family style done right. Comfortable, relaxed dining room. The food, attentive and friendly staff, make this one of my favorite places to eat out in the Blackstone Valley. And takeout is fast and easy for those days when we want a great meal at home. The chicken is my favorite but the all you can eat Pot Roast on Sundays is a close second. I have had several family functions here and the service and food were great.

My family has been going here since my Uncle Rick discovered it. The Village Haven has soft chicken and delicious cinnamon rolls. The quantity and quality is well worth it. Has all you can eat; salad or soup, chicken, shells, french fries, cinnamon rolls and/or regular rolls and can get pictures for drinks. Good Staff and have been going to The Village Haven for many many years. Better than Wright’s Chicken Farm (my subjective opinion from experience.) Thank you

Was one of the worst meals I have ever had. If I could give zero stars, I would. Asked for a Ceasar Salad, 2 bites in I pushed it away. Have no idea what dressing was on it, but it was horrid. When my meal came out (Vermont Chicken) the rice and chicken where drown in a maple something(also disgusting). It looked like 2 pieces of chicken floating on rice soup. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Shame on your cook or cooks for producing food of such terrible caliber.

My wife and I went to this restaurant on Saturday, November 17th. We arrived at 6:15 PM and had about a 45 minute wait. The waiting area is very comfortable and we enjoyed very reasonably priced drinks from the bar that had three excellent big screen TVs. We were seated by our hostess at a very comfortable table and promptly greeted by our server Christopher. He took our drink order and returned quickly with our drinks and fresh cinnamon rolls and took our order. He returned with salad served family style that was both excellent and large enough for several helpings. Our meals arrived shortly thereafter, my wife's salmon special and my he-man portion of the prime rib. Both meals were excellent and we had enough left over to bring home portions for a second meal at home. Our compliments to Gary and his team. Though the restaurant was very busy our dining experience was first class all the way. I would highly recommend this long tenured family owned business that is a hidden Rhode Island gem that should be frequented from everyone across the state.

Excellent family style chicken. Includes self serve soup bar, rolls and cinnamon buns, salad with oil and vinegar dressing, pasta with a good tomato sauce, fries, and of course chicken. Servers will happily bring more of anything. If you have any room left the meal includes a hoodsie cup of ice cream. A great deal for $12.75 for adults.

I fell in love with this place, ever since I first came here for family-style chicken. The only reason why I'm not giving this place a 5 star is because sometimes they get too busy, and some of the servers don't know how to handle it. On the plus side, even when their busy and you have to wait, you hardly ever have to wait longer then 20 minutes because they move things pretty smoothly in that aspect. We've had a few different servers, but the best one so far was Zach. The food is very good, I pretty much go there to get my chicken fix, and I always leave with even more chicken. Whether we eat there or get it to go, it never disappoints.

Love this place. It's down the street from Wright's, serves family style chicken like Wright's, but is way better than Wright's. Their chicken is fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy (unlike the terribly dry chicken you find at Wright's), they serve cinnamon rolls in addition to regular rolls, and the meal includes a hoodsie cup (by Hershey's). Also, better atmosphere than Wright's. Our favorite place for family style chicken dinner.

They have the same chicken dinner Wrights chicken restaraunt has. But they have cinnemon buns and its in a quieter setting. And you dont feel rushed to eat so the next people can sit and eat.
