We went here based on reviews and im glad we did. A very small place but the portions were large and delicious. I had the seafood pasta with red sauce and they kicked it up a notch. My husband had the steak tips and they were cooked perfect without the need of any additional sauce to eat them. This place is a must try if you are in the area.

The steak tip sandwich (it's a steak and cheese grinder but with steak tips) is sooo good! You can get it loaded (mushrooms & onions) or plain (I get it loaded w/mayo). The steak is soo tender and not chewy/fatty like some steak tip sandwiches are (which is why I would usually get the normal shaved steak instead of tips for a sandwich). I get this sandwich almost every time I go there! They always have specials and offer a few beers on tap. They have good Irish coffee too. Very friendly staff!

Basing review strictly of the phone experience,Food is probably good. Called to see if they take reservations lady was super rude, hung up twice and just a crappy dismissive attitude. So we never went or will ever go to what could be or is a great place.

My fiance and I have visited heritage a few times because of the food. If I could give the cooks stars it would be a 10 out of 5. Its always delicious. BUT if I could rate the service it would be a 1 out of 5. I feel like our service is based on our looks. And since we are young, one with facial piercings and tattoos and another with a long beard we aren't treated as nice as the older people. I will revisit in hopes that we are not judged by our appearances.

Where do I start with The Heritage Restaurant Tap Bar & Grill... it's situated in a unassuming corner surrounded by house's comes off looking like a local Pub than an restaurant from the outside side, upon entering you're offend to sit where ever you feel comfortable and greeted by a waiter that's very genuinely friendly and welcoming with the unspoken promise of you choose wisely by coming here and you're in for a treat! And they didn't let us down, we shared several dishes that was simply delicious the steak tips were cooked to perfection, satisfaction was pretty much Guaranteed in whatever dish you decide to go with! And to top it off they make their desert from scratch we went with the Creme Brulee which was simply amazing! Easily a 5 Star quality food... actually they surpassed many other 5 Star restaurants I have been to! With amazingly low prices to boot! Do yourself a favor and don't pass this gem up if you find yourself in the area!

What a great find.. Lived in Pawtucket for 30 years and never knew restaurant was here till last year. The place has a wonderful home town feel to it. Staff is amazingly friendly all the time. Everything is made from scratch, and tastes homemade. I suggest the scallop casserole, it has sausage in it and is served over pasta.. To die for... check it out... oh, and don't be in a hurry, this is not fast food.... Best restaurant in Pawtucket by far. If you haven't experienced it, you don't know what your missing.

Honestly, I'd rather everyone thought badly about the Heritage so I could keep it for myself. Truth is, Dave is a great chef offering great food. And Joyce, well, if I it weren't for me having bar tending experience, I'd say she is the best. Don't be in a hurry and you will always leave happy.

What a lovely restaurant! A Ma and Pa place, Steve and I had the most delicious meal!!! We ordered steak with shrimp ala scampi,and a swordfish dinner, It was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection!!!! The bartender, Meredith, was very nice and pleasant. The owner Steve, was so nice and pleasant too. We are going to make sure that we keep coming back and support Resturant like this! I give this place a 10 star rating! Please share this post.

The best meal I have had in ages! This place is a little "cheers" type restaurant in a little neighborhood off Central Ave in Pawtucket RI. Do not let it's size fool you, yes, the place is small but the food is fantastic. The inside has a very homey atmosphere. On street parking only Come hungry and not in any hurry to leave and prepared to wait for your food. They cook to order. The waitstaff was very friendly and recommended several specials. We started with an amazing appetizer a Crabmeat Tower, it was PHENOMENAL! I also had the Ginger Citrus Grilled Salmon, my Hubby had the 1/2 rack of ribs. The food came out piping hot and with generous portions. Vegetable medley was fresh and seasoned, the fish was fresh and amazing, and hubby could barely finish the ribs! Moderately priced, but WELL worth it! They also had fantastic homemade looking desserts, and if we had room we would of gotten one! I thoroughly recommend The Heritage Tap Bar & Grille
