Good place to eat good, hot and fresh (straight out of the grill) Korean food. The all you can eat Korean bbq is a buffet but where you can eat alot more varieties where you have the feeling that you are making the food yourself. It was a lot of protein, with no desserts or junk which is actually very healthy for you. I also liked the fried dumplings and scallions pancakes. I just would have liked if the staff were more attentive.

Sura provides a wonderful experience. If you do the barbecue option you are served raw meats and vegetables of your choice to grill on your table. The all you can eat options range from about 23-34 depending on cuts of meat available and if you get hotpot or not. We got the higher end meat option(27 dollars.) We had 2 rib eyes, black pork belly(very thick good bacon), spicy pork belly, spicy pork, baby octopus, shrimp, pork chop, beef tongue, brisket, 2 orders of mushrooms, dumplings, steamed rice, assorted pickled veggies, and scallion pancakes. All of it was quite good, our favorites were the octopus, spicy pork, and pork belly. The table has a grill on it and you cook and eat at your pace. This may sound strange but it is a very pleasant experience; have a few beers(good selection of domestic and import) talk to friends and eat some delicious meats. The service was friendly and prompt. They gave us advice on how to best go about the experience and were helpful with tips and recommendations. We will definitely be back.

Was persuaded into trying this place on a business trip with a coworker, who insisted on having korean bbq (he deeply regrets this by the way). Honestly I think I've either been spoiled by good korean bbq or I went to a different restaurant. I do not get the 5-star reviews, and my advise is to stay away from this restaurant. Probably one of the worst korean bbq experiences I've ever had. The beef brisket was extremely tough. The pork belly was sub-par (very thinly sliced and frozen). Meats in general were just bad quality. Not to mention the terrible side dishes, and soups. This is also not a cheap place, and for the same price you may get korean bbq that is 5 times better from NY, or DMV area.

My daughter loves kpop which we shared as we heard Seventeen come over the radio so one of the staff sent her home with a cd of his favorite kpop group and she loved it. So glad this place has been having great business for the many years its been around. I was afraid when they just started that they wouldnt be able to gain the traction they deserve from being situated in an area not exactly known for cultural foods. Menu B is very much worth it since it has the LA style cut prime short ribs. (LA, i.e. typical beef galbi is cut across the bone whereas the other style is cut in chunks of rib). Its nice they keep innovating with the menu but itd be great if they could be more consistent with the length in which they marinate some meats

Food was great but experience was terrible. I made a reservation the day before and they didn't have our table ready. They thought it was the wrong day and we waited 45-50 minutes for our table. I explained it was our first time, but the waiters took some people's orders and then left, leaving us confused. Turns out when you order, you order the same thing for EVERYONE and they bring out the food per grill at the same time. Okay, we'll learn for next time. We tried adding some meats we had wanted to grill but the waiter shook his head at us and then left. The meats ordered come out in huge platters, so extra meats would have gotten to waste, we just didn't know and no one explained it. Again, that's okay, it's our first time. Then when it comes time to eat, we're grilling our meats and trying to make the best of the situation, they kept going to our friend's grill, moving things around on them, turning the grill back up or down after they just fixed it themselves, and even took the tongs out of my friend's hands a couple of times to rearrange her meats. We felt so rushed and awkward, it made things tense and someone even lost their appetite over how rude the whole experience was. I kept smiling and telling myself it was okay, because it was my birthday and I just wanted to see my friends together and eat amazing food, it was our first time, and there may be cultural differences. But with all that happened, I can't say that I would recommend anyone else to come here unprepared. Maybe one day I'll try visiting again (because the food really was that good) and edit my review.

If you're looking to eat a lot of meat, this is a great place to get a lot of bang for your buck. The meat quality is good, not great, but you do get as much of it as you want. I liked that I could try some meats that I've never tried before, and they've all been good. The sides are a bit hit and miss though. The jeon was delicious but the soondubu jjigae was pretty flavorless. I've been there more than once and with the drive being 1.5 hours, I think that's a sign I enjoyed myself there.

Food seems to be more or less ok, but the service people are terrible. They added the gratuity on the bill (we were 5 people) on the itemized bill, which was on the back side. And on the front side (Merchant Copy) there was a line for tip. They did not inform us of that the tip is already included. I gave 20% tip on the top of the tip they already added without knowing that the tip is already included. None of those people told us that we double paid the tip. Pure cheater. I feel I am just robbed.

If you really like meat I can see going there for the all-you-can-eat is worth it, but they only give you two side dishes. Otherwise I highly NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Foods have no flavor and disgusting.The staff are very rude and don't care about customers. But you know what is the best part? They put 20% tips directly on your bill for a service that doesn't exist. Please do yourself a favor and find other places to eat.

I love this place! I always feel so stuffed when i leave, the food is delicious! My boyfriend and I order the A course combo set, and it come with alot of stuff let me name some of favorites- so you get to choose up to 3 meats from the A course and we chose Prime Brisket, Spicy Chicken thighs, and Chicken Bulgogi or Beef Bulgogi and then it comes with side dishes such as Soft Tofu- we add egg to it- also comes with scallion pancakes, dumplings, and some rice and I order the purple rice it’s delicious!! All that for 35$ And let me tell you it feeds 2 people fully!! Must give this place try!

It's not authentic Korean, but the food taste pretty close, and you can order some of Korean liquors with the meal. With that being said, the Karaoke room was good.

Best hidden gem for Korean BBQ & Authentic Hot Pot. Stop wasting money at hibachi restaurants and come here! Just off Route 44. There is a two hour time limit on the tables but the staff is friendly and attentive.

Not a bad choice of meats. The LA short ribs were good. Highly recommend. The variety of side dished were lacking compared to other Korean BBQ places I've visited. This is the closest thing to authentic Korean dining I've experienced since living in Korea when I was 10 years old!! You order the seasoned meat you want and they bring it to your table (raw) to cook on the grill at the center of the table. All I wanted was Bulgogi and lettuce leaves to wrap them in--like I was used to eating. It's so hard to find a restaurant that provides both of those things. Sura Korean BBQ was happy to provide the lettuce leaves when I asked, and when I also asked for garlic to grill alongside the meat they brought out shaved garlic cloves (just like the restaurants in Korea!) There is a choice between cooked white rice and what they call "purple rice." I went with purple rice because it's a fun color. I can't taste any difference. They even had a variety of side dishes (two types of kimchi, pickled radish chopped long and thin like spaghetti noodles, ginger salad, and tasty bean sprouts) to partake while waiting for the meat to be brought out. I'm so happy to have found this place! Fair warning: we needed a bit of an orientation before placing our order. We arrived at the restaurant after the busy hours, so the waitress didn't seem to feel rushed when explaining the menu to us. There's a difference between ordering All-You-Can-Eat (starting at $25 per person) and ordering a selection (recommended serving of 2 people) and we were confused at first until she explained. (Our server was Grace and she was very kind and helpful and knowledgeable) She kept coming back to the table to help us cook the meat. (Other servers would stop by as well to stir the meat and refill our drinks) The drinks offered were bottled, and I didn't see diet options on the menu. I just went with water. The table has metal chopsticks and a metal spoon at each setting when you arrive, but if that intimidates you the staff offered forks very quickly. Overall, we LOVED this restaurant and will definitely bring back our friends!

The prices are very reasonable, the portions are fair and the interior is MUCH, much more accommodating and comfortable than you would imagine from the outside. A good "all you can eat" place for big parties to enjoy Korean bbq. We had a party reservation of 19 people on a Sunday evening. My 14 year old was the only child attending. Food was great. Price was reasonable compared to others we've been to. Hospitality was very unorganized , thus service was not great. They don't seem to bus the tables as they go, but luckily my sister's beer bottles sat on the table because by the end, they charged her 2 additional bottles that were never delivered. Although, there is a nice incentive if you pay with cash. (5% cash off the balance after you pay is returned to you!). I believe there was a 15% gratuity included. The receipt was very simple to understand as far as everyone paying separately per check. There was a separate karaoke bar in the restaurant for post-dinner entertainment. For the price and size accommodation, it was the best choice to enjoy Korean bbq and entertain our family for my sibling's "going away" to the Army. All in all, we would return again with that big of a party. Worth bringing your big appetite!

I would say overall that this place is average at best. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. As others have mentioned, the staff is non-attentive and pretty much non-existent. Several times they had forgotten our orders all together. This place is more about the experience than anything else. Probably won't be returning.

This has always been one of my favorite places to go simply because there's never been anywhere else to get Korean BBQ from. It's all you can eat, as long as you eat it and it includes not only a variety of meats but soup, appetizers and vegetables. Now you can even add a hot pot to it for an additional price. The meat normally taste wonderful and cut perfectly to be tender and cook up quickly. While for what you get, the price is pretty good and reasonable, it's not a price point that people could just become a regular with. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the service, service isn't bad but I feel as if waitors hardly come to check on us and this past time just left the meat on our table and didn't really come back at all then kind of scolded us for waiting too long to put the meat on the grill. However regardless of that this is an experience that I never seem to get tired of and always enjoy.

My worst experience ever. They don’t cook for you and we never receive what we ordered. It took me asking 4 times to finally receive kimchi. We had 5 people and they gave us small portions at a time. It took 20 mins or so to order again, they just kept walking by and never asking what we want more. This place is a complete joke. I’ve been a long time customer and this is it. Went on my birthday. Was not pleased with the staff at all. First timer so we asked a lot of questions regarding their menu. We thought he explained thoroughly but he didn't. Very pricey for limited portions especially when it was all you can eat. We got the long table because it was a big party. We asked if the rice was included with the price and he told us yes, but we couldn't waste. Thinking that it was trays full of meat, which it was not. The catch was you can not share but since we had 2 grills going my side of the table couldn't share with the other side even though we got the same "package". Assuming the food was going to come out in different plates (it did not). We had a few pieces of beef flanks, a mushroom cut in half, and that was suppose to be for 10 people? I thought since we had to pay $20+ a person we would get our own but we didn't, when the server said its a "no sharing policy" we just thought it was a big portion. We definitely got screwed when the bill came out. Oh might I add we left still hungry because that was all that we were being served. 2 plates for 10 people and we got served twice. Will not be going back!!!!!!!
